Sasuke took a deep breath and nodded emphatically.

"Everything is up to you, Menma!"

Sheren still had that cold look on his face, but he was always decisive in obeying Menma's instructions.

"Haha, we'll do whatever you say, brother!"

Naruto also spoke loudly with an upbeat attitude.

Karin also looked at Menma with a gentle expression, and her face was full of determination.

Just like a decade ago.

On that day.

The boy named Menma Uzumaki became the only light in her heart, and today, more than ten years later, nothing has changed.

"Ah, then let us set out! To embark on our own path!"

Menma laughed!

"Buzz!"

Those eyes that were as bright as stars scanned Naruto, Toneri, Sasuke, and Karin.

"Shh!"

Then the arm swung gently.

On all four sides.

Immediately, a faint light flashed up, enveloping the four people, and a pillar of clouds rose into the sky!

The moment when an extremely powerful spatial wave vibrated.

"Whoosh!"

Flickering shadows.

The disappearing figure.

Menma and the other three had already left the place.

Traveling towards the shining bright moon, embarking on the eternal road that truly belongs to them!!!

Final remarks

This book was uploaded on January 2023, 1, and was completed today, June 28, 2024, with a total of 6 million words written, which is considered a standard update. In fact, according to the outline at the beginning of the book, it would either end at the Valley of the End, or continue writing to the later Boruto plot. This was what I planned from the beginning.

But from the current perspective, I was overthinking it. I don't need the readers to tell me, I can feel it myself, the more I write, the more dull and boring it becomes. In fact, this is almost a common problem for online writers, who work almost non-stop throughout the year, and a book can easily be two to three million words, so not many authors can keep writing interesting plots.

Those who can do this will, without exception, become great writers or even platinum authors.

At the very least, only those authors who can consistently get the quality badge can reach this level.

An author like me who can only write fan fiction really cannot be presentable.

For a book, whether it is interesting or not is directly reflected in its subscriptions. The peak subscription of this book is when the protagonist leaves Konoha and when the Hikari Village is established. At that time, the 24-hour subscription of a single chapter is around 1000, and the average subscription of the book is also steadily moving towards 2000. For a failed author like me, an average subscription of more than 2000, or even , is already a very exciting thing.

My dream is of course to become an author who can get a quality badge, but it seems that this is the limit of my level.

Then comes the period of weakness.

The updates are not strong, and the plot seems to be just reading from a script. There is no highlight, nothing attractive. To put it bluntly, it is pure water. The decline in subscriptions is the most direct manifestation of this, and it is a cliff-like decline. I had thought that it would end when I reached the Valley of the End.

I just feel like something is left unfinished.

I just wanted to force myself to keep writing, whether it was time travel or the later plot of Boruto, I actually considered a lot of things, but I didn't express what I thought completely. The key point was that if I didn't have the passion to write, how could I write a plot that would satisfy the readers.

I don’t know if this can be considered a bad ending, but at least it gives a reasonable ending.

Judging from the final results alone, I don’t think this book is a failure, at least for a failed author like me.

But compared to Uchiha's book, it is not written as smoothly after all.

Whether it is the process or the final outcome.

I would also like to express my gratitude and apologies to the hundreds of readers who have subscribed to the book until the end. It is my fault that I could not complete and write this book better. I can only say that I will continue to work hard on the next book.

As for the new book, I’m already thinking about it and hope to see it with you all in July. I bow again to express my gratitude!

Good night, everyone!
