As he said this, he quickly disappeared from the spot - as if he was trying to escape from somewhere in a hurry.

Chapter 175 Time flies
The ravens flew between the shadows of the Imperial fleet - not just the Macragge's Glory, but between the shadows of the fleet: over the millennia, the Raven Lords had become so familiar with the ways of the Warp that they no longer needed the guidance of Warp teleporters and beacons when making these short jumps.
He had to admit that when he first heard about the concept of "Primaris Warriors" from Guilliman, he felt a fear that came from deep within. Facts had proven time and again to all those who attempted to do so in the universe, whether he knew it or not, that all attempts to tamper with the Emperor's creations would not end well. Even though his brother had repeatedly assured him that this was a fully mature and stable technology that had undergone extensive testing, he was still... a little skeptical.
Especially when he heard that this was a group of warriors with stronger physiques and more stable temperaments than the "Firstborn", his anxiety reached its peak. Rationally, he repeatedly told himself that these warriors had been in the ranks since the beginning of the Indomitus Crusade and had experienced the test of about a hundred years on the battlefield. Guilliman could say this confidently because there were a large number of examples that could serve as evidence during this period, but emotionally, he would still think of his descendants who had suffered mutations and he had to personally end this pain for them.
Because of this uneasy feeling, after finding the ship where his Primaris descendants were with some mysterious induction, Corax did not emerge from the shadows, but continued to shuttle through the dim corridors in this raven-like form. He hid in the darkness, with doubts about them and even more about himself, silently looking at the small group of Primaris descendants in front of him who were not in a state of combat readiness, whom he had never seen but were indeed connected to him by blood.
——Until one of them suddenly raised his head inexplicably, and even though he had to squint because of the light emitted by the chandelier, he still insisted on looking at the shadow where Corax was hiding.
The same genes will always resonate with each other, especially when they are close enough and both have high enough perception in this regard. Although he did think about delaying, Corax had already anticipated this situation. After a brief hesitation, he chose to emerge from the shadow cast by the chandelier on the ceiling and appeared in front of his offspring without saying a word.
He didn't know what to say to these children he had never met. Fortunately, it was obvious that his children didn't know either. Among all the cousins, the Raven Sons always seemed a little quiet: their victories were quiet, their defeats were quiet, their joys were quiet, and their sorrows were quiet.
When they finally reunited with their genetic father, it was quiet on the ship they were on.
-
Guilliman and his cursed offspring celebrated the feast in a Macragge way. From the next day, the dead began to dissipate into golden particles one by one. Even though the Imperial Regent had been told that this was just the remnants of things that should no longer exist in reality returning to where they should be, he still felt a little disappointed.
A dream that seemed too good to be true had ended, but he had no right to dwell on it. He still had to face a reality that was not so good, but seemed to be gradually getting better. After all the Cursed Ultramarines had returned to the Emperor's throne, the Ultramarines Think Tank Director Varo Diglis led a small fleet to set off in response to the imperial order. He would return to Macragge, the Ultramarines' home planet, to take over the current affairs of the current Chapter Master Marius Calgar, so that he could free up his hands from the work of the Lord and defense, and lead troops to support the Vigilant Planet.
Under Guilliman's orders, the Astropaths began to send messages to all Raven Guard units and their successors they could locate, informing them of Corvus Corax's return. They have not yet received a response, but everyone can imagine that this news will greatly encourage all the descendants of the Raven Lord. Due to the preferences and requests of the person involved, Corax's return was not announced to the entire Imperium with a grand ceremony - after all, he will next take over as the jailer of Konrad Curze, and the latter's existence is a secret that most people do not want to expose to the Imperium.
A day or two later, Fujimaru Ritsuka had to say goodbye to Conrad Curze: from the very beginning, they had received two completely different missions from the Emperor, one needed to build a lighthouse for the dark side of the Empire, and the other needed to lead troops to cleanse a planet that had fallen into the Great Rift and was likely already infected by Chaos. The two had already known that they would go their separate ways because of the difference in their missions, but they had not expected it to happen so soon:
The matter on Parmenio was settled, and the Plague War was almost over, but the end of the Imperial Regent Fleet's expedition was still a long way off, and Guilliman had to go to the next battlefield waiting for support - and for the Night Lords, which had now become too large, the manpower on the Storm's Edge alone was obviously unable to effectively supervise them, and Konrad Curze had to stay with his heirs, still detained in the fleet preparing to set off.
Because the disinfection work on the Emperor's Dream is expected to last for two months - after all, it is a larger ship than the average Queen of Glory-class battleship, and the internal structure designed by the wisdom of the Emperor is even more intricate. Even if the Imperial Regent divides a small team from the Imperial Guards around him to organize and coordinate this matter, the duration cannot be faster. Fujimaru Ritsuka has to stay on Parmenio, but the good news is that this small team of Imperial Guards will join Storm's Edge as a crew member in the future, which can be regarded as compensation for Guilliman's withdrawal of the "security force" around her (referring to Conrad Curze).
In addition, the dark angels on the Lion's Mane are still ready to continue sailing with the Storm's Edge. Although Fujimaru Ritsuka asked Lanmarok if they wanted to find the remains of the Legion that continued to this era and meet with their blood brothers who were born in the present. If they wanted to, then Fujimaru Ritsuka would naturally not stop them, but after the dark angels had a discussion, Lanmarok told her that no matter what, the Lion's Mane and the Storm's Edge would eventually go to the dark side of the empire. This matter can wait until after arriving in Baal and then consider the situation.
In addition, it is very confusing that Yago Sevitarion and the ten black armor guards he led were ignored by Robert Guilliman, Conrad Curze, and even Corvus Corax, as if they should be left on the Storm's Edge. The fact that they could not follow their gene father to fight (even under the surveillance of the Raven Guard) did make the Night's Children demoralized, but in Fujimaru Ritsuka's opinion, the person who had the most negative feelings about this matter was Inquisitor Sibylla Hastings: Since that night talk, Caelia has inexplicably learned some means of seeking external assistance, and has now successfully united with three of these Midnight Lords, including Sevitar, and when she encountered the teacher's overly harsh and unreasonable treatment, she found various ways to make things difficult for him.
The days passed without much to say. A month later, the Cathedral of Tyros was finally renamed the "Cathedral of the Emperor's Manifestation". Its function as a temple-level magic workshop was also crudely used by the state religion, which tried to produce psychic amulets in a more bloody and fanatical way. Surprisingly, the person who stepped on the brakes here was Mathieu. He seemed to think that his mission in the rest of his life was to make this Emperor's temple run correctly and sustainably, so he applied to the Imperial Regent to resign from the post of War Apostle and decided to stay here and spend the rest of his life building Parmenio into a shrine world. Of course, Guilliman agreed.
This was somewhat unexpected, but there were more unexpected things than that: in the Hera Fortress in Macragge, while Digris was explaining to Calgar "what happened before this" with an obviously lingering look, the guards suddenly reported to them that they had captured a "misbehaving Ultramarines" wandering around nearby. It was not until the think tank director took the time to personally interrogate the prisoner that he discovered that the Ultramarines who were accused of sneaking around and aimlessly around the Hera Fortress were Ionid Hill, who had been stranded for some reason - Fujimaru Ritsuka said she had no idea about this, but she said so, but her expression was very obvious.
The final conclusion was that Ionid Hill was also captured by Marius Calgar and included in the team supporting Vigilant Star. When they set off, Somni, who had finally completed the cleanup project, finally qualified to return to the Custodian Army and happily took root in the main control room of Storm's Edge again. The first batch of Raven's Sons who arrived had already caught up with the Imperial Regent's fleet at this time, and the Iron Hands' Destruction Claw had also returned to their chapter home planet Medusa after a major overhaul.
“You can’t do this!” Outside the central altar of the Eye of Medusa, the members of the Iron Hands formed a sparse line on the flat ground. This move had no tactical significance at all. They just stood there like a useless obstacle, shouting at the newcomers with a chaotic despair: “You can’t treat the only remains of our father like this!”
The visitor's face, which was as hard and sharp as a knife, showed anger, but surprisingly, the emotion that was easier to interpret than the obvious anger was a kind of sadness:
"I am your father," Ferrus Manus declared.
Meow (six o'clock)
The laws of our ancestors cannot be changed, and the tombs of our ancestors cannot be dug up, even if the ancestors themselves come to do so!
(Calm) This is the end of this volume! (Huh?) It may feel a bit hasty, but this is exactly what I decided in the chapter outline... (Eyes wandering)

End of Volume Summary
End of Volume Summary
Urgently adding this paragraph at work: At the morning meeting today, the leader looked forward to the next work arrangements. I calculated that my updates will become erratic in December, and I will be completely gone in January. Haha, send it! (Anxiang.jpg)
By the way, urging is useless, and sending money is also useless. People should first consider their own lives. I don’t want to die suddenly...! Woohoo, I have a meeting tonight... (Leopard)
Although it's called a summary, I don't have much to summarize (peaceful). I know I'm lame, but I feel good about it: office workers are almost always updating on time, what else do you want! In short, finishing it is a victory! (a person who has very low requirements for himself)
Actually, I was originally a fan of short and medium-length fan fiction, and this is the first time I have ever serialized a long novel on a daily basis (meaning it's the first time I've written it so quickly). Now that I look back, there are indeed quite a few flaws, but since I've already written it (and since I've come to this), I'll just leave it at that.
Although this volume is mainly about Guda's story of jumping up and down in the Empire, there is actually a hidden plot about Curze's growth on the mental level. Everyone can see the obvious plot, so I won't mention it. I will only focus on the hidden plot: It is really a big project to save a giant baby Primarch in this regard and make him a mature adult. I have indeed gained a clear understanding through these 500,000 words. So for Mortarion, I directly put him into the Astronomican and let Big E worry about this problem. I hope that the angel who occasionally encourages him can prevent Big E's bad father syndrome from flaring up everywhere...
Because the deadline (for me) was quite tight, I just followed the plot outline in many places. In terms of the plot, there are many places that can be linked or taken care of, but they were not handled clearly enough. In short, in terms of the hidden plot, this volume is about teaching Curze to be a father, which leads to Curze not being able to be a father, which is okay, Big E obviously can't be a father either; Iron Hand also has regrets when facing his sons, but as a serious adult, he has adjusted his mentality in the past 10,000 years and decided to try to handle it on his own; Regent can't be considered a 100% good father when facing the Ultramarines (after all, his status is there, and he can't have both family and country), but he is already a standout among the Primarchs (thank you, King Connor); in addition, there is the kind father and Little Mo on the Chaos side, and the tangled and twisted father-son relationship between Little Mo and Typhon, which can hardly be called a father-son relationship... I mean, no one can see the last point at all! I can't see it myself!
By the way, in the Iron Hands episode, a few centuries ago, the Sapphire King first appeared and was released from his emotions and exiled by the rational Iron Hands Chapter; a few centuries later, when the Sapphire King appeared for the second time, the dying screams of the Gene Father were defeated by the rationality of the descendants of the Chapter. I really like this intertextuality in the plot, but no one has said it...
Another point is that the short-lived Xiao En in that scene was actually not offline, but just followed the Claw of Destruction back to the Iron Hand's home planet outside the camera (eyes wandering). I was going to say this when someone reminded me "You missed a character!" (because it actually looks like it was missed, the accelerator was pressed too fast in that scene and I didn't know how to deal with it when I came back to my senses), but no one has said it yet...
Actually, I regretted a little bit while writing this volume. I shouldn't have divided this volume so much. Why didn't I recognize my nature as a short and medium-length writer, and divide Jestal into one volume, Sapphire King into one volume, Plague War into one volume, and the ending part after the beginning of Kozga into one volume - it was only when the time came that I realized that there were many jokes that could be played in the preface! When will I really turn the flagship of the Night Lords in this article into the capital of classical music (this takes up a sentence at the beginning, why are you still thinking about this)!
Forget it, it's done anyway, it doesn't matter anymore. Entering the next volume - First of all, I must say: I won't write about Alert Star! Guda won't go to Alert Star! I will die if I write about a plague war! If I write about Alert Star in detail, I will be killed! Alert Star already has a Hill and an Iron Hand Primarch to support it. You can just think of these two people plus the existing luxurious configuration as solving the problem of Alert Star in a flash outside the camera, okay - (cute leopard crying)
But at the beginning of the next chapter, Guda will indeed be offline for a while, and the camera will follow Tie Shou... After all, he is still a pillow (referring to strength)! This problem must be solved, otherwise Tie Shou cub will not be able to trust his father to enter the battlefield of that kind of big mixed operation level. Haha, the protagonist is offline, send!
But anyway, I wrote this article the way I felt comfortable, and the readers don’t know about it, so I won’t change it!
By the way, the story of the original Guda has been told, but I plan to randomly update a series of important characters' biographies when I run into a writer's block. I wonder if you guys are...
Anyway, that's it! The seal happily crawled under the ice hole and escaped!

Chapter 176: Biography of the False Lex Primarch "Star of the Long Night" Fujimaru Ritsuka (Part )
What should never be forgotten is what kind of future we expected at the moment we decided to spend the rest of our lives on the battlefield.
——Fujimaru Ritsuka
-
Fujimaru Ritsuka, also known as the "Star of the Long Night", is one of the twenty Primarchs created by the Emperor of Mankind. She grew up on the hellish planet of Nostramo, but with almost no one to teach her, through her long-term efforts, she successfully transformed this living hell into a civilized planet with a well-ordered society and law-abiding people.
Among all the extraordinary creations of the Emperor, Fujimaru Ritsuka is the only one who is the same size as a mortal and seems to have no extraordinary features; she is also the only female Primarch. So far, no one can understand why the Emperor did this, but perhaps it is precisely because of this that she is the most gentle and emotionally stable Primarch.
Another point worth mentioning is that since birth, she has been troubled and tortured by her overly detailed prophetic gift, but she has successfully transformed this trouble and torture into a powerful tool through her own efforts. At the end of the Great Crusade, after the Warmaster Horus rebelled, she led part of her legion to pretend to surrender to the Warmaster, and then sent another small force to warn the Empire in advance.
During the landing site massacre, Fujimaru Ritsuka was killed in Istvan V while covering the evacuation of the loyalist army.
1. Biography
[Childhood experience]
According to records, the incubator carrying the young Fujimaru Ritsuka fell from the sky, pierced through the eternal night of Nostramo like a fireball, and crashed onto the surface of this sinful planet.
There are a lot of adamantium deposits in the crust of Nostramo, which has enabled the development of a huge mining production chain on the entire planet. However, this commodity, which is in short supply in the galaxy, has not allowed the people on it to live a prosperous life. On the contrary, the vast majority of the population on Nostramo live a hard life in extreme poverty and heavy labor, while the wealthy and nobles who occupy the top of the pyramid naturally dominate all of this. There is no real law here except for the purges and harsh policies implemented by the aristocracy. Extreme crimes are rampant on the planet. Cannibalism and murder are regarded as normal behaviors here. Plunder and torture are common daily entertainments. Suicide caused by depression has become the main means to reduce the excess population. There is no doubt that this is a hell that is inappropriately left on earth.
Almost at the same time when Fujimaru Ritsuka left the incubator, she had realized what she would encounter on this planet through her cursed talent, and also realized the evil nature of this cruel and inhumane planet. Unlike most other Primarchs, Fujimaru Ritsuka was not adopted by anyone on the planet. Even in her ignorance, her prophecy told her that most people on this planet were untrustworthy, so she wisely chose to hide herself, barely survived in the dark of Quintus City by relying on her own efforts, and never stopped observing this terrible world.
[Long Night Star]
Perhaps, Fujimaru Ritsuka had heard the Emperor's noble and majestic whispers at the beginning of her life. Without anyone teaching her, she should have learned all the arts of deception, crime and murder in this crucible of sin, and become a fallen queen who reigned over the dark world of Nostramo with her extraordinary mind and extraordinary abilities. But she did not.
Fujimaru Ritsuka has long been driven by a natural and simple sense of justice that comes naturally from her heart. She despises those aristocrats who are greedy and cruel, but she feels even more sad for the indifferent and muddle-headed laborers. She spent a lot of her time walking among those laborers, trying to change their living conditions and help them get enough materials for survival. She even made simple musical instruments from industrial waste without any guidance, wanting to tell them that the future can also be beautiful and full of hope through music, an art form that requires almost no knowledge to appreciate - but this cannot solve the fundamental problem, so it always has little effect.
In the process, she often had to deal with the city's gangs, and even the upper class nobles who heard of her specialness. After several meetings that eventually developed into unfriendly conflicts, Fujimaru Ritsuka, who seemed too naive and kind in such a cruel world, finally realized that there was no "gentle" solution to many things.
So, the violent attacks began. First, the mine supervisors, then the killers and bandits sent by the nobles, the criminal gangs that controlled the industrial chain. She seized a large amount of weapons and equipment from these places, and then piled them in front of the mine gate, saying to all the confused but numb miners: they can choose to stay where they are, wait until the nobles who own the mine realize the accident, and then be executed meaninglessly; or they can choose to take up weapons and follow her, and die in the fight with the oppressors - but this is by no means meaningless, there will be other people with similar situations as you who will see your resistance, and your death will make others realize that those perpetrators are flesh and blood like you, and they will feel pain and fear, and they will die. And the more people realize this, the closer the Nostramo people will be to a "better life".
No one understood what a "better life" was like, and at first, few people responded to this call. But as time went on, the scale of the conflict gradually expanded, and the control of the nobles and gangs on the edge of the city became weaker and weaker. The numb workers began to realize that there might really be hope for change in their lives. More and more people chose to take up arms instead of waiting to die in silence, and Fujimaru Ritsuka's resistance team grew stronger. In this way, small-scale resistance gradually turned into a large-scale uprising over time, and the flames of war gradually ignited the entire city.
As the leader of the rebels, Fujimaru Ritsuka spent eight years completely ruling Quintus, the fifth city on Nostramo. During this period, she also realized that once these long-oppressed people were freed from the shackles of mental numbness and slavery, the desire for revenge that erupted from them was also terrifying and cruel. The cruel environment of Nostramo could only teach everyone: the only law is the blade, and the only right belongs to the strong who dominates everything. In order to restrain this, she spent a lot of time formulating laws and setting up institutions to ensure that they were properly implemented. It was not until Quintus became a civilized city that could guarantee the survival of the weak under such rule that she turned her attention to other cities on the planet.
In just one year, with her accumulated strength, Fujimaru Ritsuka easily took over the other four cities on Nostramo. She executed all the nobles and criminals who exploited the people, and imprisoned their relatives and accomplices. The rulers in the cities were educated workers under the nobles who were elected through proper procedures and were required to enforce appropriate laws strictly and impartially.
On the day when the lower-class workers were completely liberated, cheerful music resounded through all the streets and alleys in the city. People celebrated and thanked Ritsuka Fujimaru for showing them a "better life" and spontaneously began to call her the "Star of the Long Night", meaning that in the endless darkness, she would always selflessly hang high in the sky, pointing out the direction for them to go next.
In Fujimaru Ritsuka's own plan, after achieving this phased result, she intends to establish a normal medical and education system, lay the foundation for building a more reliable and longer-lasting political system, and begin to try to control the atmosphere of Nostramo that is seriously polluted by the mining industry. But because of her very useful but often tormenting gift of prophecy, she obviously knows very well what will happen next.
Unlike when she drafted the bill, she did not intervene too much in the practical work of these plans, but instead divided them up and entrusted them to other people she believed to be trustworthy. Amidst these people's doubts, anxieties, and excuses of their own incompetence, Fujimaru Ritsuka looked up at the dark sky of Nostramo and said: She had foreseen that she could not stay on this planet forever.

Chapter 177: Biography of the False Lex Primarch "Star of the Long Night" Fujimaru Ritsuka (Part )
[The Emperor Arrives]
As Fujimaru Ritsuka had seen in her visions, shortly after her reign over the planet began, the Great Crusade launched by the Emperor of Mankind advanced to the edge of the Nostramo System.
Soon, Fulgrim, Ferrus Manus, Rogal Dorn and Lorgar Aurelion, along with the Emperor, led a negotiation team and descended on the surface of Nostramo in the eternal night in a brilliant golden light. The inhabitants of this planet, who had lived in darkness for a long time, could not look directly at the shining golden light around the Emperor. Many people cried because of the light reflected between the walls and the rain, and those who dared to look directly at its source were blinded by the strong light.
The negotiation team walked straight to the palace of the current ruler of the planet in the golden light, and Fujimaru Ritsuka had anticipated this and stood alone in front of the palace waiting. The moment she saw the delegation arrive, she uncontrollably foresaw a large number of real, perhaps the most violent and painful prophetic visions in her life. Fujimaru Ritsuka never talked about what kind of future she saw at the time, but judging from her subsequent behavior, perhaps at that time, she had foreseen what a tragic end the Great Crusade, the great cause of the Emperor, would have in the end.
As she was tormented by the visions of the tormenting prophecy, the Emperor leaned over and comforted his only daughter, saying, "Calm down, Fujimaru. Don't worry. I will take you home." But after she emerged from her agony, Fujimaru responded, "My home is here now, but I will go with you. Not because you asked me to, but because I will meet my own destiny."
This response made the other Primarchs present at the time have some different opinions about her, but Fujimaru Ritsuka herself did not care much. The Emperor and others soon realized that they did not need to bring the team behind them that was formed just for negotiations: the master of Nostramo seemed to have made the decision to leave a long time ago and had arranged all the subsequent affairs. Compared with negotiations, what the Empire needed here was government officials who could directly take over management and handle practical matters.
[The Great Expedition]
Under Fulgrim's instruction, Fujimaru Ritsuka quickly accepted the guiding ideology of the "Imperial Truth" - at least on the surface. In the process, both Fulgrim and Fujimaru Ritsuka deeply realized that they were almost completely different in character, preferences, and goals. But even with such a big gap between the two, the two Primarchs still formed a deep friendship.
After completing a series of learning tasks, Fujimaru Ritsuka finally took the leadership of the Eighth Legion and renamed it the "Midnight Lords". Before the return of the Primarch, the earliest members of the Eighth Legion came from the notorious ancient prisons of Holy Terra, and frequently fought according to the will of the Emperor - often not a simple conquest, but a cruel punishment. After having a deep understanding of the other party, Fulgrim suggested that Fujimaru Ritsuka write to the Emperor to free his legion from this cruel responsibility so as to obtain some more glorious and upright merits, but the latter refused. Because "the Empire needs not only the Emperor's Children, but also the Night Lords. And don't forget under what circumstances I successfully ruled my home planet. I believe that my soldiers and I can do this job."
Over the next few years, the Night Lords quickly adopted the philosophy of their returning Primarch. During the expedition, when they had to face the pocket empires ruled by humans, "negotiation" was also put on the schedule as a necessary means. If this stage failed and the entire Legion had to turn to war, the enemy would find that the Eighth Legion's way of fighting still did not value honor. But compared with the reckless brutality of the past, they gradually began to use various flexible and changeable strategies and tactics that were even despised by other Primarchs, just to improve efficiency in the war and reduce any losses that the Primarch considered unnecessary, whether it was their own or the enemy's. After successfully incorporating these planets into the Empire, Fujimaru Ritsuka always tended to spend a lot of time to adapt appropriate laws to local conditions to help them integrate smoothly into the Empire while maintaining a stable life as much as possible.
But if the enemy is an alien race, or the Emperor needs them to suppress some planets that once surrendered but raised the flag of rebellion, the Night Lords will show their hideous side under the instruction of the Primarch. The Sons of the Eighth Legion often have a cold paranoia about "justice", and the Nostramo soldiers who join with the returning Primarch give the entire legion more "varied ingenuity" when punishing and warning for justice. The Night Lords will also end similar wars efficiently and neatly, with remarkable results, but even for the friendly forces fighting alongside them, this process is far from pleasant, and even makes people avoid it.
After repeating similar actions many times, the notoriety of the Legion began to spread throughout the galaxy. Just the rumor of the coming of the Night Lords would cause the galaxy governor to pay more taxes than usual out of fear, and even the criminal activities of civilians would stop instantly. Mutants and suspected heretics who were not allowed to exist under the Imperial law would be immediately dug out from their hiding places and executed immediately afterwards. Even some brothers who had never met the Primarch of the Eighth Legion had some bad impressions of her because of this.
This made the Legion's reputation in the Empire embarrassing, but for Fujimaru Ritsuka, who also did not value honor or reputation, this was a completely acceptable negative effect: fear is not an appropriate means of ruling, but when it is necessary to destroy the enemy's will to fight, there is no better tool than this, and it is also appropriate to use it as a punishment for "betraying the Empire." We need to remind our enemies at all times what price they have to pay when they decide to block the direction of the Empire's progress.
Although the Night Lords' fighting style often seemed too cruel, other Primarchs could reluctantly agree with her views after listening to Ritsuka Fujimaru's explanation and patiently learning from the Legion's combat records that such horrific and brutal battlefields were only a minority of the minority. The most surprising one was Rogal Dorn: when they first met, Dorn had made a very fierce accusation to Ritsuka Fujimaru about this matter, but the latter just calmly and peacefully explained every question raised by the former and thanked the other party for pointing out the mistakes and inappropriateness in her plan. After that, the relationship between the two Primarchs was not very close, but no one would say that their relationship was bad - Rogal Dorn even allocated 30 new recruits who had completed the Imperial Fists Astartes transformation surgery at the request of Ritsuka Fujimaru, and made them permanently join the Night Lords Legion. Among them was Sigismund, the future Chief Executioner of the Night Lords.
But similar things don't always go so smoothly. Vulkan, Lord of the Fire Dragons, has never been able to agree with the fear tactics instructed by Ritsuka Fujimaru. The two had many fruitless talks on this issue. Finally, after they both realized that they could not convince each other, they said goodbye to each other with regret and tried to avoid appearing in the same occasion at the same time. Corvos Corax, Lord of the Dark Ravens, also complained about this, but given the similarities in their backgrounds and tactics, after several exchanges, both sides felt that they benefited a lot. Ritsuka Fujimaru once praised Corax's tactics in public, and the latter also publicly stated that he did not dislike the former himself, but as of the Great Heresy, they and their legions had indeed never joined forces again.
Compared to other legions, the speed of the Night Lords' expeditions was "very unremarkable" - that is, it was neither worthy of praise nor slow enough to be hurried. This may be related to the Primarch's philosophy of "adhering to the doctrine of the mean", but it cannot be said that such an expedition speed was not at all affected by the Primarch's home planet. During the hundreds of years of the expedition, the incorrigible sin planet Nostramo had experienced several uprisings, restorations, corruption, and rebellions. Due to the speed of information transmission in the galaxy, when Fujimaru Ritsuka learned of this, things were often out of control, and even twice affected the legion's supply of troops. The Primarch had to withdraw from the Great Crusade again and again and return to his home planet to quell the rebellion on Nostramo.

Chapter 178: Biography of the False Lex Primarch "Star of the Long Night" Fujimaru Ritsuka (Part )
[Early Rebellion]
When Fulgrim, who had been bewitched by Chaos and defected to the Warmaster, found Fujimaru Ritsuka, the latter was suppressing a serious rebellion on Nostramo. Given the close friendship between the two Primarchs and the long-standing awkward position of the Eighth Legion in the Empire, the Purple Phoenix was quite confident in persuading the Star of the Long Night to defect to the Warmaster, but the degree of success of this matter was still beyond his expectations:
At the moment they met under the magnificent guard of honor of both legions, the two primarchs had just exchanged greetings according to due etiquette, and Fujimaru Ritsuka said to Fulgrim: "I already know what you want to say, and I agree."
Although it was no secret that Fujimaru's gift of prophecy surpassed that of any other Primarch, the fact that things were going so smoothly still made Fulgrim suspicious. To verify whether she was right, the Purple Phoenix spent fifteen days with Fujimaru in orbit of the Nostramo, during which time the latter successfully dispelled all of the former's doubts. Finally, Fulgrim returned to the Warmaster and reported the good news to Horus, admitting that he was jealous of Fujimaru's control over his Legion, because when Fujimaru publicly announced that he would follow the Warmaster, there was no opposition from the Night Lords.
But what no one outside the Night Lords knew or understood was that Ritsuka Fujimaru had an exceptionally close bond with her Legionnaires. While Primarchs and their gene-children often felt a supernatural attraction, only Ritsuka Fujimaru could use this ability, rather than psionic power, to covertly convey precise words and instructions to her children. Ritsuka Fujimaru used this to coordinate the entire Legion to perfectly perform in front of Fulgrim the fact that the Night Lords had sided with the Warmaster at the Primarch's behest, and in subsequent contacts, she successfully dispelled the suspicions of all the rebels.
During this period, she still maintained regular contact with Rogal Dorn, the Guard of Terra. For some inexplicable reasons, the Night Lords and the Imperial Fists had long been cooperating in the development of a certain warp navigation technology, which did not stop in the last period before the start of the Heresy. The reason given by Fujimaru Ritsuka was that if the research progress was suddenly suspended, given Rogal Dorn's character, it would be difficult for him not to find out the reason. The Warmaster agreed to this, and because Fujimaru Ritsuka frankly stated that she could make her conversations and research records with Dorn public to everyone, and did not care about other brothers arbitrarily tampering with the messages she was about to send to Dorn, this matter did not cause any vigilance among the rebels in the end.
It was not until the massacre at the landing site on Istvaan V that the shocking fact that the Night Lords did not rebel finally surfaced. In the original plan of the rebels, the Night Lords were to enter the battlefield together with the Iron Warriors, the Word Bearers, and the Alpha Legion to inflict a devastating blow to the loyalist legions that had been fighting for a long time. And Fujimaru Ritsuka did order the Night Lords to demonstrate their superb and terrifying killing skills here - unfortunately, it was against the Alpha Legion and the Word Bearers deployed on the left and right wings of her legion.
While phosphorus bombs and cluster bombs were unreservedly rained down on the "friendly" army from the air, the fact that "the Night Lords did not rebel" was shockingly exposed to everyone. It was obvious that Fujimaru Ritsuka and her legion only superficially obeyed the Imperial Truth. She and her legion had been secretly developing some kind of psychic technology for a long time, and it was very effective. With a psychic modification called "Orthnaus" that was well compatible with most types of power armor, some "suitable" Night Lord warriors could borrow the power of a specific subspace entity to fight in the real universe at a very low cost. It was precisely with these rare warriors who were blessed with other powers that the Night Lords were able to tear open the rebels' front unexpectedly when they were at a disadvantage in terms of numbers and individual combat capabilities, clearing a path for the loyal legion to retreat.
During the short window of time on the battlefield, the trapped Raven Guard and Salamanders, who were almost out of ammunition and food, made a prompt decision to retreat. Only Ferrus Manus, whose rage had burned out his reason, continued to charge towards the distant Warmaster's fortress. The Primarch of the Iron Hands ran into Fulgrim on the marching route, and the two demigods fought fiercely in the sea of blood and corpses, even changing the color of the sky and the earth. At the moment when Ferrus was about to lose everything, Fujimaru Ritsuka, who came quickly from the distant front with only a flying bag combat team, hit Fulgrim at the critical moment and saved Ferrus Manus from the stabbing sword.
According to Ferrus Manus's own recollections, after he had recovered from the damage he had suffered, he saw Fulgrim questioning Ritsuka Fujimaru about his loyalty to the Warmaster. The latter replied: "I have never given my loyalty to anyone other than myself, neither to the Emperor nor to the Warmaster. As early as when you and I first met, fate revealed to me the tragic situation of today: no matter what, one of the Primarchs on Istvaan V would fall today, and I did not intend to let fate decide who would be chosen."
She then ordered the Iron Hands to retreat, and threw herself into the battlefield without hesitation, fighting the rebels under the roar and roar of naval guns, various aircraft and war engines, and even Titan God Machines, until she died of exhaustion. According to the survivors of the Night Lords in this battle, until the last moment, before the desperate time that Fujimaru Ritsuka himself had already shown them, the Primarch was reading the battlefield through some mysterious method and issuing orders to all her gene-sons with that obscure connection.
Although the Night Lords successfully achieved their strategic goal in this battle, which was to preserve and assist the loyalist legions as much as possible to escape from the meat grinder of Istawaan V, the loss of the Primarch - even though the Primarch himself had anticipated this and informed all his gene-children of this fateful fact before the battle - still caused the morale of the legions that came here and suffered the inevitable large-scale casualties to be low. But it is worth noting that, as a matter of course, only a small part of her legion was summoned and led to Istawaan V by Fujimaru Ritsuka.
