15. A Jealous Heart

“Meng Meng, don’t be so childish. You’re already almost thirty, not three.” Li Ze’s head was starting to hurt from watching Lu Meng be this restless.

Lu Meng abruptly turned back, but upon seeing how seriously the other was reading the intelligence report, he twisted his body around again, disappointed, “I’m not…… Never mind, let me know when we arrive.”

They were currently on board the aviation craft, there was still an hour left until they got to their destination at the encampment.

After sending out orders to the unit, Li Ze kept his communication device.

He gently ruffled Lu Meng’s chestnut-coloured hair, even going as far as to coax this three-year old, “Next time we get a vacation, we’ll just go have fun directly, and not attend any more blind dates, okay?”

“It’s not because I don’t want to go on blind dates!”

Li Ze’s expression became slightly more indifferent, and he retracted his hand, “Oh.”

“Fuck, it’s also not because I want to go on blind dates! No— that’s not the problem!” Lu Meng jumped to his feet, pulling his own hair into a right mess, “Li Ze! That was an Omega!”

“What?” Li Ze was unable to immediately understand what he was talking about.

“Even though he’s a boy, he’s still an Omega! How could you hold his hand?!”

Li Ze’s forehead creased, and he stood up as well. The spacious cabin instantly seemed to have become crowded, “You’re jealous?”

“As if, I don’t even remember his name, why would I be jealous! I’m telling you, if you randomly seduce Omegas like this, there will be misunderstandings!” Lu Meng glared at him, but was instead met with the sight of Li Ze laughing……

Li Ze had already put his military boots on and was taller than Lu Meng who was standing barefoot. He leant over and ruffled the other’s hair, “I wasn’t paying attention, why don’t you disinfect me.”

Lu Meng spent a few seconds in a daze, then felt that it made some sense. Pulling at Li Ze’s hand, he rubbed at it over and over, then again felt as if something wasn’t quite right, so he tried to explain, “Ahem, I was just worried that the others at the encampment would pick up on the scent and be jealous of you. You have to know; Nothing is more terrifying than an Alpha’s jealousy.”

Li Ze: “……” Maybe he should invite the doctor over to give them some lectures on physiology?
