17. Got Injured

Lu Meng ran his hands up and down Li Ze’s body in concern, “Where are you injured? Why didn’t you say anything?”

The doctor cleared his throat, feeling that the scene in front of him was indeed too provocative for an elderly’s heart, “Ahem, General Li sustained injury to his consciousness.”

“Huh? Why?”

Li Ze glanced over, not bothering to respond.

“Doctor, what’s wrong? Will there be repercussions?”

The doctor couldn’t bring himself to look at Lu Meng anymore, the expression on the other’s face was as if the sky had fallen down, “If you dare enter the Deep Sea District again, you can expect Major General Li to suffer damages to his consciousness once more.”

Lu Meng understood now. Even though he had informed Li Ze beforehand, it was clear that Li Ze had not withdrawn his consciousness from Lu Meng. The pressure within the Deep Sea District was already a challenge for Lu Meng’s physical body to withstand, needless to say, enduring it with something as fragile as consciousness was out of the question.
