Yang Xinyu continued, "Then he went to Vladimir's lawyer to give him more money telling that he had arranged for more shares and the shareholders were asking for advance money. But he refused to give it to him."

"This is strange Yang Xinyu. How come we never came to know about his activities?" asked the mayor.

"We knew that he had sold his shares due to gambling but the rest we didn't because it was none of our business once he was out of the company. Plus the fact that he was dealing Vladimir's lawyer, meant that it would have been extremely discreet," replied Yang Xinyu.

"So what is Vladimir's agenda now?"

"I don't know father…"

"We should meet him. Yang Xinyu arrange a meeting between him and me. I would want both of you to be present there," said the mayor getting apprehensive of Vladimir's intentions.

"Okay."

"What about Wu Lina's name change?" he asked looking outside as if thinking about something.

Wu Lina also looked at Yang Xinyu. She panicked again. Yang Xinyu looked at his little lamb, and said, "It will be done soon."

Wu Lina seemed to relax but thought that Vladimir won't let it go soon.

The mayor asked for more tea and declared that he would have dinner and leave. Wu Lina was happy and went to the kitchen to ask Mrs. Jiao to prepare dinner for three.

She went back to the living room where the only two men in her life that meant a lot were sitting. She looked at the two of them and felt reassured. As long as they are there, she wouldn't be harmed. Let Vladimir go to hell. She decided not to get out of the house at all and put her safety in jeopardy, as she didn't trust him.

"Yang Xinyu understood and said, "Yes, sure. Wu Lina, please don't worry. This time our security is too tight."

Wu Lina smiled at him.

The mood of the atmosphere lightened and they started chatting other things.

"Have you come to know the gender of the babies Wu Lina?" asked the mayor.

"Father, the doctor knows but we are not interested in knowing," she replied.

The mayor nodded. He really had to know the gender so that he could buy appropriate clothes for them. He narrowed his eyes and said, "I hope you guys have started arranging the nursery for my grand children?"

Yang Xinyu and Wu Lina looked at each other. With so many things on mind, they had completely forgotten about it.

Yang Xinyu was especially irritated at himself. Where will his babies sleep? And what about the nannies? He had to make that list again!

At the same time the mayor was making a mental list of the things needed for the nursery.

She reminded herself to call the interior designer to create space for nurseries. She wondered if it would be better to have them in her bedroom only or elsewhere. She just couldn't think of making them sleep anywhere else other than near her. She smiled at her thought as she bent down to look at her large tummy and said, "What do you all want?"

When she went back to the living room she saw that none of them were there. Upon asking the servants about them, she was informed that they had gone outside for a stroll.

The dinner was served within the next thirty minutes.

Over dinner, the mayor announced, "After Wu Lina has given birth, I will be moving from the mayor's office to the sapphire bungalow Yang Xinyu for a month."

Wu Lina gaped at him and did not know how to answer him. The couple looked at each other again. "Okay father…" said Wu Lina.

"My grandkids would want me to be with them. I will be taking a leave for fifteen days after their birth. Wu Lina when are the babies due?"

"The babies are due within the next three weeks," she answered plainly.

"What?"

Both the father and son asked her with strangest expressions. They panicked!

Wu Lina looked at both of them, as she stopped eating her food. She shrugged and said, "What's so funny about it?"

"Only three weeks, Wu Lina?" asked Yang Xinyu.

The mayor looked at his stupid son. He shouted, "Are you mad? You don't even know when are the babies due?"

Yang Xinyu didn't speak a word after that and ate his food quietly.

When the dinner was over, the mayor left and Yang Xinyu went to the bedroom to place a call.

Meanwhile the mayor was placing several calls on his way to his residence.
