Wu Lina forced a smile and got up from the bed to have some water. The night advanced on a lighter note with both of them making their future plans. As they were talking Yang Xinyu received a call from his father.

"Where are you?" asked Chairman Yang Min-Chang.

"I am in the lounge," he replied.

"Are you with Wu Lina?"

"Yes."

"Yang Xinyu, I have decided that I will to invite all the family members and all my children to the old family house to announce your wedding," said the Chairman in a serious tone.

"What?" Yang Xinyu was stunned at his father.

Chairman continued, "I am sending out the invites to every family member. This is an extremely important function. You must prepare Wu Lina for that. If you want I can send our personal fashion designer to her. She needs to be dressed appropriately. I am planning to keep the ceremony next month. I will let you know the date. Wu Lina has to meet all the relatives. We will announce your engagement with Wu Lina. Make sure that the old family house is decorated and maintained well before all the guests pour in. Since it will be the engagement ceremony of my son, the Yang Corporation heir, it has to be the best in the country," said the Chairman in one breath.

"Also, Yang Chen Lin called. She told me about Sebastian. You should have informed me about him." While the Chairman was suppressing his laugh at the other end of the phone, Yang Xinyu became nervous.

The Chairman had disconnected the phone.

Wu Lina who was sitting next to Yang Xinyu was listening to the conversation attentively. She couldn't make out much from whatever short sentences Yang Xinyu blabbered so she became inquisitive.

"What about your mom? Is she throwing a fit? Oh please Yang Xinyu I don't want any violence or sad feelings. You cannot imagine what I have faced at home with my mother. I don't want anything similar with your mom. Is your father against me?" With that Wu Lina started crying. She remembered how her father had thrown her out of the house just because she demanded to study. Her mother had to face his wrath. She was too miserable to undergo same problem.

How could Yang Xinyu tell her that it was just the opposite this time? His mother was against their marriage but his father had given him his wholehearted permission.

"It's nothing like that Wu Lina. Please stop crying," he said laughing and wiped her tears. "My father has given his permission and he wants us to announce our engagement in our old family house in front of all the relatives," he said with a smile.

"Really?"

"Yes!"

Wu Lina was ecstatic. She hugged Yang Xinyu tightly. She was laughing and crying at the same time. Her world seemed so brilliant now that everything was falling in its place. Even if all the lights were turned off, there was flame in her soul that was burning with his love. She felt optimistic. She closed her eyes and felt positivity flowing within her rekindling and sparkling her.
