Unmotivated Hero's Tale

The day after the magic internship, Emily and the others were waiting at Semi a little early to make it to Yui's lecture. The three of them had been talking about the past few days during that break.

"Yesterday sucked. That creepy warm grabs my shoulder, and Dr. Yui comforts me."

"Oh? Emily wanted to show Dr. Yui a good place?

Anna nibbled, pointing that out.

"It's obvious. Not a little bit, but it's still our teacher."

"Don't be sloppy, or whatever that is. Apart from being a hero, I respect him."

When Reyce listened to Emily, she said so.

Didn't you think the way Dr. Yui fought was sloppy?

"At first, I thought it was a little sloppy that they decided to mix my body surgery. But if you think calmly, he could have beaten me with his sword normally. I mean, cut it out, and still stronger than me. There's no way I won't burn with respect!

Emily sighed as if she had made a grip and spoke so fervently about Reis.

"Ha, this is why the swordsmanship idiot..."

"But yesterday, on the way home from our internship, Dr. Yui said he would have a different instructor for Reyes. He said he'd bring us magic experts, too."

On Anna's way home from her internship, Rayce opened her eyes and embarked on herself, telling her what Yui had told her.

"A lecturer? Dr. Yui, that guy is really amazing. But you can't teach someone else about me."

"If you say that to me, you have no choice. Besides, you're the kind of guy that Dr. Yui recommends. Isn't that quite an arm?

"There are so many of them. I'm proud of the muscles around here."

One unfamiliar red-haired man walked in with a grin as Rayce suddenly knocked on the thin door of the Semi Room, exactly as he was talking.

"Uh, is there someone named Rayce?

The unfamiliar fox-eyed man stopped his gaze where he saw Reyce's face as he looked in turn at the three people sitting in the chair.

"I'm Reis... Um, excuse me, who is it?

"Oh, are you Rayce? I was asked by Yui to mentor you. [M] Hey, it's been a while since I've been here, so to be honest, I'm lost."

Thinning his eyes more and more thinly, Rayce stared at Nico when he accidentally made his expression look worse to the man who told him so.

"Phew, are you the lecturer Dr. Yui mentioned? You don't seem very strong...... Before I tell you, I have something to say to you first. If you're weak, could you tell Dr. Yui to arch with me?

"Ha, okay. If I lose, I promise I'll call Yui soon. So I'd like to show you my awkward prowess, so shall we go to the sword field for a little bit? Yui said he was embarrassed when he played with you in the courtyard."

That said, the man walked out of the room without looking back, and Reyce went after him confidently.

"What did the guy think earlier?

Emily, left in the room, asked Anna, who also replied with her neck tilted.

"Something's wrong, isn't it? I'm calling Dr. Yui off by name... and Reis seemed confident about something, but are you sure you're okay?

"Well, let's go check it out, shall we?"

When they nodded at each other, they slowly left the Semi Room.

What Emily and the others saw when they opened the sword yard door was the appearance of a red-haired man making a blue bruise on his face and crawling into the ground and putting his right foot on top of its body and the same grin as when he came into the room.

"Uh, are you done yet? If you don't try harder, it won't be my workout."

"Excuse me...... I was on track. It's the limit now…"

Reyce apologizes to the man who steps on him in tears.

"Really? Hmm, it's certainly not bad as a material, but you haven't had a basic body yet before technology. Sword moves shouldn't be just moves. You need a firm upper body and the muscles of the lower body that support it. Thank you. You seem to be trying to keep your strength down, but even Yui, who hates practice, used to work out a little bit more as a student."

Alex said that to Reyes as he pulled one leg off, which he put on top of Reyes.

"I don't hate practice. Of course I didn't like it... but it just seemed silly to try someone who couldn't beat it any more, Alex"

To a voice suddenly heard from the back side, when Emily and the others turned around in a hurry, there was a figure of Yui, with a silver-haired man who looked nervous.

"What! Red hair...... Alex...... no way Alex Zhu from the Army Ministry!

The strongest man in the Army, known as Alex the Zhu, not because of the color of his hair, but because of the way his gods work and the amount of blood returned. Reyce was stunned to notice from Yui's words that it was the same person as the man in front of her.

"Ha, that's an old call. I belong to SS now, I'm a shitty swordsman. I say Alex Hughes. Thank you very much."

That being said, Alex laughed at Reyes, but Reyes had the best grin to pull.

"Now, as long as this is the problem with Reis' mentoring, I'm in a magic class next, but I've called this guy. I had a hard time getting permission to change shifts when I bothered to call the SS chief because the order of the escorts was off."

"Ha, are you really stupid or what? Where is the guy who threatens the head of the escort and forces the head of the escort to work? The Aynth guy, he was crying for a while to fill the hole I'm gonna pull out?

Alex laughed and opened his mouth when the silver-haired man standing behind him told him to do so so to shudder.

"Ha, that's how I've also borrowed lute. Well, Eince must be crying, too."

"Hey, I just said I'm going to tell Lord Rhine a story about a woman. Then, please take Senior Lute, he asked me to come from the other side."

Yui grinned bitterly as he scratched his head, excusing himself so, but the students who were listening to it could not hide their surprise at the headmaster of that SS, who concurrently served as Commander of the King's Capital Defense, against the headmaster who used it in his jaw.

Lute, on the other hand, who understands Yui's character, could not forbid Eince from sympathy, but held his head to being on this occasion even more than that.

"Alex, did they call you here..."

"Hey, I was training for SS recruits. I went to all of them and Yui came to me when I was free. 'Cause I'm gonna tell my students to do some archery."

When Alex explained the situation, Lute dropped his shoulder like he was tired.

"Well that's good. This is how the three of us in the Armad class got together. Sometimes it's good to take care of your juniors."

"That's right..."

"Bye, Lute. I'll take care of the two of them tomorrow. Just tell me from the ground up. But add and subtract as much as Alex."

When Yui spoke that way, Reis shook his voice with surprise.

"Or, add or subtract... that..."

"Well, then I'll get used to it. It's okay."

To Alex, who said that and kept a grin on his face, Reyce shivers up again.

"So if you're going to teach them tomorrow, why did you bring me here today?

It's about Alex, so Lute changed the direction of the story toward Yui, thinking that Reis would be in terrible shape.

"Oh, there's actually a kidnapping and a fraudulent accounting case at this school. I'm doing that research, and I was hoping you could help me with something."

"Kidnapping or unauthorized accounting? What do you mean, Doctor?"

When a serious Emily with a strong sense of justice asked Yui that way, Yui opened her mouth scratching her head like she was weak.

"Oh well, it's kinda... sorry, but I'm gonna use the Semi Room for a little while with the three of you, so don't come in there"

When Yui told Emily and the others so, he urged Alex and the others to leave the sword field as they were.

Emily and the others left on the spot, the three of them looked at each other.

"What do you think?

That's what I asked Rayce as she walked over to the two of them, looking like she was hurting her body.

"Kidnapping... but I've heard rumors recently that about two magic students have disappeared from school."

When Anna answered that, Emily suggested to the two of them, after a few rounds.

"Hey, our graduation is set, right? But don't you think I regret graduating without doing anything? To surprise Dr. Yui, let's look into this case!

"Even so, what can we do..."

"Sure, there's only a few things we can do, but there's got to be a lot of things we can do, like listen to our students."

The other two shut up about Emily's suggestion. And after a little thought, Reis opened his mouth.

"Ha, I'm going out with you. If you keep losing to those old men, I'm a little sorry. What about Anna?

"Emily says she'll do it, so I'll help. So, what exactly do we do?

"The teacher told you not to come inside, didn't he? Then let me talk to you outside the door. Fortunately, the door in the Semi room is thin, so it sounds pretty round. You didn't tell me not to listen, so let's go."

Emily, who said so with a naughty grin, started heading to the Semi Room, and the two arrived after, though frightened.
