I waved goodbye to him and started running towards the mountains. As I climbed the hill, I see the house where I used to live. It’s basically uninhabited, though Verna-sensei is taking care of it now. The field is basically empty now, since I took all the seedlings to our current house.

I go further into the mountains along the mountain road my father had built. She have a room at the academy, but Verna-sensei often comes back here. She’s taking care of the herb garden that hasn’t been completely moved to the academy.

I called out at the door and was greeted by Verna-sensei with a flurry of activity.

“Hey, Lars-kun. What are you doing here at this hour?”

“I’ve come to deliver a lost item …… Is Tigre-sensei here?”

“I’ve always seen you guys going home together after guild club meetings.”
