Vampire Nightlife
Chapter 223 Answers And Bargaining (2)
The truth and the entirety of it.
It was something that Lukas hadn't even told Drusilla yet or anyone else for that matter.
Maybe Rhea knew a bit of the truth depending on how much she had submerged and feasted on his dreams before, but at the moment, in the presence of the majestic creature kin to the wyverns—Lukas spoke.
"I tried to get myself out, but it was to no avail—although, the life I've left behind is really of no importance or value to me now." Lukas admitted.
And in the darkness of the cave, in a world where he had told no one of the truth, especially to those who were dearest to him, Lukas admitted the things that were in his mind.
"You…" Cerisedel spoke, but then paused, almost as if she did not want to interrupt him. "Do you know what happened to you? What has led to this situation?"
"That's what I'm supposed to be figuring out, but I think I've already gotten a clue." Lukas said as he stretched out a palm in the darkness. He couldn't see it for himself, but he wiggled with his fingers as if he was giving a wave. "The easy part is knowing who did it—it's the F and I, the creators of the game, and what is left is the motivation for why they did it."
"Yes, that is… ahem." Cerisedel cleared her throat, as if to remind herself and hold back from questioning.
Lukas bit back a grin, and then gestured to himself.
"So eh, what do you think? You've got yourself on quite some interesting information, haven't you? Maybe unlike anything you've ever seen and heard before, Cerise. Isn't that a price worth more than its weight in gold? Far more precious than any jewels to be obtained or for any objects to be given up."
"Very well. I must say that it is interesting—undoubtedly so. I… I can't help but mull it over my head a couple of times. It's piqued my attention quite a bit, I must admit."
Lukas took a deep breath and then exhaled slightly.
"Then does that mean that you've agreed to honor our agreement, Cerise? I need your help, and I've provided something in exchange beforehand."
A secret he'd kept from mentors and loved ones alike, now all given up for the chance to save strangers and other people who were about to come and find themselves destroyed by the unknown entity in the Dark Forest.
It had to be worth its price.
There was also concern about himself, naturally—and maybe Matthew and the others too, but it was mostly to save everyone and that was a mighty thing from him.
What Lukas didn't expect however was for the darkness in the cave to vanish in a blink of an eye.
It should have turned pitch black, as it was still a cave but instead the place suddenly was decorated by a multitude of sparkling lights, like bejeweled fireflies.
It brightened up the room and finally revealed Cerisedel at last in her true form. And it was a mighty form indeed.
The Sky Changing Wyvern was a huge creature, its wingspan enough to be bigger than the van that Lukas and the others had arrived in, but Cerisedel was far more larger.
And yet she wasn't so large to like maybe compare it to one of the jumbo airplanes that once dominated the skies in the past before far more speedier travels became convenient.
She was a dragon, but not truly that old and grand.
Cerisedel was a dragon of beautiful red scales, they sparkled and glittered like rubies mixed in with subtle hints of vermilion and rosy hues that nearly touched on to pinker tones.
Her eyes were light and darkness, one a light blue like the skies that appeared in broad daylight touched with soft clouds and the other was as pitch black as the night sprinkled in with stars.
"Very well, an agreement is an agreement indeed."
She lifted a claw and reached out to Lukas.
She was huge enough that she could have crushed him in one go—but before her claws touched his cheek, it quickly morphed into that of soft luscious fingers that touched his own bare skin. Cerisedel cupped him cheek gently, cradling it in her hand as she had transformed from a dragon into a form much human.
Her long red hair went past her shoulders, nearly touching her knees as she stared at him with the same day and night like eyes.
She was completely naked, her body exposed all towards him but there was no waves of lust exuded, instead it was merely of someone who had stepped into a human body for a first time and was unaware of the importance of clothes or did not just care.
"This is…" Lukas found himself unable to say a word, his gaze glanced towards her body before it made its way to her eyes.
Lukas was a moment late as Cerisedel leaned in towards him and kissed him on the mouth. He had expected many of a flavor, perhaps something that was akin to something she had ate, but instead of any of that—he tasted fire in his mouth, like the warmth of the sun paired along with the silkiness of the night sky.
It was a sensation that he could probably savor and embrace, it was an idea and feeling all at once and it was enough to get lost in all of it as she caressed his cheek and then before he knew it, she slipped her tongue in.
For someone who probably haven't interacted with anybody except for wyverns, she was actually quite in tune with how to use her body and mouth.
Lukas' eyes widened and he quickly backed away from her in shock.
"Why are you staring at me like I've struck you with a lightning bolt?" Cerise tilted her head in confusion.
"Why'd you kiss me?" Lukas asked.
