Vampire Primogenitor In Tokyo Ghoul Universe
Chapter 32 - Schemes And Plots
Muri twirled his tongue around Kiyoko's as she gave him a goodbye kiss. They separated as Muri gave her firm behind a tight squeeze. Kiyoko blushed while visibly showing arousal because of his touch and a temptation to drag Muri back to her bedroom for another few rounds between the sheets. Muri gazed into her dark blue eyes while she battled the growing urge before she finally gave in and drew Muri back in as he was stepping out the door. Kiyoko didn't waste time as they stripped on their way to the bedroom and came out two hours later. Kiyoko smiled as she reluctantly sent Muri out the door before dejectedly turning around and heading to her home office to go over some official documents. Muri chuckled at Kiyoko's current plight as he left her apartment and headed home. As the CCG's campaign drew closer, there were still many things to go over and confirm before the operation started. As the head of the first Division, there were a lot of squads who'd be participating in the upcoming operation that sent written requests to Kiyoko which she then had to go through and either approve or reject. With the increase in her workload due to the upcoming citywide ghoul hunting operation, she'd had much less free time to play around with Muri and engage in some office rumpy pumpy. This had led to them having more of their sėxuȧŀ encounters in her apartment after she'd just come back from work and before she'd have to go through the surplus work documents she brought home. Of course, they'd still fuċk in her office sometimes but they were mostly quickies with her bent over the table as he rode her fast and hard while everyone was out for lunch. Kiyoko's current state really made Muri relieved he was just a CCG combatant and didn't have to deal with the worries of paperwork. His responsibilities only entailed showing up, killing till there were no ghouls left and receiving a generous paycheck at the end for his hard work.
Muri walked the evening streets of Tokyo's 1st Ward. Office workers who liked to drink after work were returning home from happy hour at the bars as Muri headed into a convenience store on the way to his apartment. He bought a bag of fresh, mostly chocolate, desserts before walking out and heading to his place of residence. He arrived at his apartment building and walked up the stairs only to find a tall white haired figure standing at his front door. Muri wasn't surprised to find Kishou Arima at his front door and had an idea of what the CCG's Reaper came to find him for. Arima turned as he noticed Muri's arrival, "It's been a while Muri. Haven't seen you since the ȧssembly after we cleared the 6th ward. I thought I'd find you at home at this time. I was just contemplating coming back another time when you arrived. I see you still have your sweet tooth, good thing I brought some dessert wine as a gift to go with it. I need to discuss an important matter with you. Would you mind if I come in?" Arima stated in a polite, friendly manner complete with a light smile. Muri smiled as he glanced at the bottle of chocolate wine in Arima's hand. He quickly walked to his front door, unlocked it and let Arima into the living room before walking to the kitchen to get some cups, plates and utensils to use. Once he returned, they both settled down on opposite seats, popped the wine, poured some into two glass cups and picked their selection of desserts onto their respective plates. They sat there and caught up with each other as they ate the desserts while sipping on the chocolate wine. Despite the fact that they were half brothers who grew up in the same institution, Muri and Arima had at best the relationship of familiar acquaintances. However during the CCG's retaliatory operation a few months back, their relationship improved after they'd gotten the chance to work closely together. Once they were done with the refreshments, Muri asked Arima about what brought him here. Arima paused and asked if Muri had an indoor gym, he requested a spar after which he'd reveal the purpose of his visit.
Muri led Arima towards the home gym he'd set up in his apartment. He'd had the place set up with rubber flooring and various exercise equipment arranged along the walls. Muri hardly used the exercise equipment, he'd gotten them for Kiyoko which she used during the times she stayed over at his place and wanted to keep in shape. She'd also donated a bunch of swordsmanship training equipment as well as other types of weapons to his gym which they occasionally used to spar during the times they were in his apartment and weren't rolling around in bed. Kiyoko Aura was a master of the Nitouryuu swordsmanship style which specialized in dual wielding. She'd taught him the swordsmanship style which he'd quickly picked up and mastered due to his prior experiences in weapon mastery. They would have dual weapon wielding spars that normally ended with their sweaty, nȧkėd bodies entangled on the rubber flooring. Muri walked into the gym as he led Arima in and asked what kind of spar he would like to have, whether it would be bȧrėhanded or with some kind of weapon. Arima replied that it would be a sword duel using bokken otherwise known as wooden katanas since both of them regularly used swords as weapons. Arima took off his white coat, black suit jacket and rolled up his sleeves. Muri was only wearing a waistcoat with no suit jacket so he just rolled up his grey shirt sleeves. Both men had already taken off their shoes and socks before entering the gym so their bȧrė feet felt the coolness of the rubber floor. Both men walked to the sword rack and each chose two similarly sized red oak bokken. Upon choosing their weapons, both men stood in attack stances, facing each other from opposite ends of the room. Muri had set the gym up in a way that there was a wide open space in the middle of the room. Both men suddenly advanced towards each other with bokken ready to strike. As the gap between them shortened, suddenly Arima jumped forward and slashed at Muri's head. Muri shifted his body diagonally to the side and ran into Arima's waist with his shoulder. Arima flew back into the air, flipping over to land on his feet. Both men faced each other, crouched and leaped forward as they advanced to clash for the second time. Despite it being just a spar, both men were vicious and quick in their attacks. Muri suppressed his physical capabilities to just around Arima's level as they clashed ferociously. Muri dodged under Arima's sword swing for his head while piercing one of his bokken towards his abdomen. Arima used his other bokken to block Muri's bokken thrust. Arima tested Muri's defenses by attacking from insidious and unexpected angles. Muri effortlessly dodged and blocked every attack while retaliating in kind. Arima looked to also be effortlessly blocking the attacks but Muri's earlier shoulder tackle into Arima's waist had cracked his hip and had the effect of slowing down his reaction time thus allowing Muri the slight edge In landing some light hits on Arima. Arima noted the fact that the injury would take much time to heal and dived in to attack Muri only to feint and try to knee him in the chin. Muri reacted on time and dodged the knee although the blow caught him in the ear. Muri grinned as he caught Arima's leg between his neck and shoulder before jumping up which pushed Arima off-balance. With Arima in the air off-balance, Muri charged up and delivered a back kick straight to Arima's side. Arima flew to the side, flipped and landed in a crouch holding on to the place Muri just kicked him. "Good move, I really felt that one." Arima said as his apathetic face changed to a smirk. He stood up and jogged back to Muri for another clash with a competitive fire in his eyes and a grin on his face. The two men clashed again and again, exchanging moves for close to an hour. The spar became less of a pure swordsmanship duel as both men incorporated kicks, punches, headbutts and use of other body parts to attack each other. They pushed the limits of non-lethality in their spar as they inflicted horrendous wounds on each other. Of course the wounds were already healing by the time they stopped the duel but the rips and blood on the clothes was evidence of the vicious inhuman spar that had just taken place. In the end, it was an equal match. "I knew you'd grown much stronger over the past few years and were already approaching my level but you've really surpassed my expectations of you by far. You've become quite capable Kichimuri, it's only a matter of time before you become the deadliest investigator in the CCG. However, why do I feel like you're still holding back? It's strange to say this but there were a few times during our spar that I was open to attacks and you didn't take it." Arima said with a smile as they returned their bokken to the sword rack after cleaning them and cleaned up the blood and sweat on their bodies with a towel. Muri smirked as he replied, "Don't be silly. I just wasn't trying to kill you. My fighting style is centered primarily around killing and how to do it as efficiently as possible, not really sparring. I kill quickly and don't like drawn out fights. Spars force me to suppress my killing instincts, try to subdue my opponent rather than kill them and use moves I don't regularly use." Arima nodded in understanding before chuckling at the thought of Muri seriously trying to kill him. Both men cleaned themselves up before returning to the living room where they sat down and Arima began to reveal what brought him here. Arima started off by swearing him to secrecy before asking him what he knew about ghouls and humans. Next he asked Muri questions about his understanding of the nature of the CCG, Washuu Clan and the V organization. Once Muri had answered, Arima began to explain the history of all three organizations and how the V organization and CCG were created as a result of a rebellion and revolution started by a one eyed ghoul who was a member of the Washuu Clan. Arima explained how this happened about a hundred years ago when the one eyed ghoul developed strong hatred against his clan and started an uprising against humanity before being defeated by a combined force of humans and the Washuu Clan. After that incident, the Washuu Clan was given authority by the government to establish the organization that would come to be known as the CCG. Similarly, shortly after that incident, the V organization was also established but it became a clandestine force that focused on primarily securing the balance between ghouls and humans while also answering to the head of the Washuu Clan. Arima explained how their clan, the Washuu were a clan of ghouls that hated and hunted other ghouls while surviving on the flesh of dead investigators. Arima also began to list and explain other bits of information that showed the Washuu clan's historic corruption. Arima said this upcoming operation was mainly a power play to consolidate their power in Tokyo and Arima needed Muri's help to fight against it. Muri sat there seeming to take in Arima's words. He already knew most of this but he put on the appearance of an investigator slightly shocked and horrified by the atrocities committed by his clan. Arima went on to tell him that there was an organization he was working with that was currently working to take down the Washuu Clan, the V organization and bring together humans and ghouls. They were currently undertaking research that could forever bridge the gap between ghouls and humans. He wanted Muri to join him since he was just like him, a defective ghoul killing weapon, a half-human with a short lifespan who the clan sent to do their dirty work and eradicate any ghoul he came across. Arima made mention of a way to make him stronger and possibly cure his lifespan issues if he joined the organization. Muri maintained an expression of interest on his face. They went on to talk for a bit about the current state of Tokyo and the upcoming conflict between ghouls and humans. After about an hour of discussion, Arima stood up to leave while asking Muri to think about their discussion and not tell anyone about it. He left behind a means of communication for when Muri had made his decision and disappeared into the darkness of the night.
Kichimura Washuu had been experiencing a busy couple of days ever since he'd gotten Rize's kakuhou transplanted into him and had undergone a metamorphosis into an artificial one eyed ghoul. The kakuhou hadn't just given him a kagune and the ability to use it, it had also boosted his overall physical capabilities whether it was strength, agility, regeneration, senses, reflexes, etc. He felt his kagune was still developing into something greater and unique rather than just the scaly tentacles that were similar to Rize's, he could feel it interacting with his body in a symbiotic process with both sides evolving in strength from the interaction. His body was merged with the kakuhou organ but he felt the process hadn't been pushed to the limits yet, Kichimura felt himself growing stronger everyday. A few days after he got his kagune, he'd headed straight to his genius younger twin brother's apartment to test out his new abilities against Muri. He'd climbed the walls and snuck into the apartment through the terrace hoping to catch Muri off guard and frighten him. However, upon entering the living room he'd found his twin staring at him with a exasperated expression. "You don't have to break into my apartment every time you want to see me Big brother. I don't like the fact that I have to constantly deactivate the security alarms for my apartment just so you don't cause any noise or panic whenever you break in. Just knock and come in through the front door like a normal person." Muri said while eating from a bowl of chocolate pudding. Kichimura embarrassedly smiled as he was chastised by his younger brother. Mura didn't know what it was but he'd never been able to get the jump on Muri ever, sometimes it felt like his brother was constantly aware of everything in his vicinity. Kichimura pushed the disturbing thought to the side before immediately ȧssuming the confident swagger of one who sure of victory while challenging his brother to a duel. Since childhood, despite being born first and being called the older twin brother, Mura had always felt a way because he'd never been able to best his younger brother in a spar or fight however he felt he had a shot this time due to his recent physical upgrades. It was never anything serious where he'd hate his brother but more of a competitive spirit which even pushed him to become as strong as he was today. Kichimura was grateful for the fire his younger brother lit under him which pushed him to the heights he reached today but he felt it was finally time to end the one sided rivalry by finally beating Kichimuri. Unfortunately, Kichimura's hopes were crushed when Muri effortlessly beat him and dominated the fight despite the fact that halfway through the fight Kichimura released his kagune. The kagune only seemed to make it worse as Kichimura noted a moment of surprise in Muri's eyes before cold fury set in as he dodged under the kagune attacks and closed in on Mura after switching the standard V organization katana for his black katana quinque. Kichimura knew it would have been best to stop the fight then before anyone got seriously injured but he was too blinded by the chance to finally beat his younger brother. Kichimura soon regretted his decision as Muri moved like a ghost and fully dominated the fight leaving Mura defeated on the floor, bloodied and helpless. The result of the battle had been tragic with Muri slicing Mura's tentacle kagune into pieces before viciously attacking him until Kichimura could hardly move. Kichimura paled when Muri pointed his weapon at his eyes and questioned where was his brother and what had they done to him. Kichimura could hardly believe that despite all the upgrades he'd gone through, there was still such a gap between he and his brother, was the gap in their abilities always this large of a chasm? Mura scolded himself as he realized his brother faces stronger ghouls daily who were more experienced and skillful with their kagune use, it would take more than some implants to beat his invincible brother who slaughtered his way to becoming the fastest rising star of the entire organization. Mura realized it really would have been disappointing if it was that easy to beat him, after all the victory would feel empty since all it took was a surgery. Mura snapped out of his line of thought as he turned his gaze to his sibling who stood above him with cold killing intent in his eyes while pointing his black katana quinque at his forehead. It took Mura a minute to realize Kichimuri thought he was an imposter because of the kagune which he wasn't supposed to have. He'd never known Mura to be a ghoul or have kagune so for him to turn up one day with them would be strange and would lead Muri to think Mura had his identity stolen as a means to ȧssassinate Muri. Mura chided himself for his impatience in not thinking this whole thing through, maybe Rize's words had really gotten to him that much. He'd have to not take this rivalry with the only person he could trust too far. Kichimura smiled in embarrassment as he glanced at Muri's eyes and ȧssured him of his true identity before explaining everything to him. Kichimura explained what he'd been up to all this time from the Clowns, to Shiki, to Kanou, to Rize, and finally the new kagune. He explained his recent machinations and plots as well as secret meetings all in preparation for their shared goal of causing their Big Bang. Mura explained he'd only kept things from him for so long because Muri had been busy and in the scenario things hadn't worked out so well and Mura had been found out, Muri could escape any blame on account of being unaware of any of it. Mura was only telling him everything now because his plans were entering the final phase and very soon the chances of getting caught would not even matter. Mura watched as Muri took in all the information with varying emotions before settling on a smile. Muri helped Mura up after Mura had healed a bit before both brothers returned to the living room. Mura sat down and told Muri that with the CCG operation coming up, it was time to finally complete their plans and make their move. Mura first affirmed Muri's loyalty and commitment to their pact asking whether he was really willing to go down this road of no return with him. Mura was glad and inwardly relieved when Muri unhesitatingly replied in the affirmative. He then told Muri that in the coming weeks he intended to gather his allies in a bid to take over the CCG. Muri was to also undergo the ghoulification surgery which would make him much stronger and give Mura more ȧssurance in their plans. He'd already grown a large network of influence in the V organization as a capable member of the Washuu Clan. He'd also made a deal with Kaiko and some higher ups to side with him and betray the Washuu Clan in exchange for access to the ghoulification surgery. Mura laid out all his plans to his most trusted companion, his brother Muri with the ultimate goal to take over the CCG and cause the biggest bang possible. Finally, Mura told Muri that their first step in taking over the CCG was wiping out the Washuu Clan and all its branches leaving them as the sole heirs to take over the CCG organization. Both brothers smiled maliciously as they schemed and plotted the downfall of their prestigious longstanding Washuu Clan into the night.
Muri walked the evening streets of Tokyo's 1st Ward. Office workers who liked to drink after work were returning home from happy hour at the bars as Muri headed into a convenience store on the way to his apartment.
