Linda was extremely sympathetic. She didn't even want to imagine how her grandfather might be feeling right now.

She promised him that she'd try to hasten the investigation. She said she'd update him if they found anything which reassured him.

She too wanted justice for her wrongfully killed family members.

"Okay. Mamie's definitely not safe right now. Whoever's behind all of this is probably going after her next," Richard said.

Linda nodded and replied, "Yes, grandfather. That's why I wanted to send her to live with you. There, she can give birth to the baby and she'll be safe. After all, the baby is a descendant of the Nalan Clan."

"No, you don't have to bring Mamie here. I'm going to leave," Richard said on the other side of the phone.

Linda was at a loss for words upon hearing this.

"I've booked a flight back home at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning," he added.

Her grandfather was going to come back. Linda was excited and upset at the same ti

Linda had a bad feeling about this.

"My Lady, if you're worried about her, I can go there and check on her. If she's fine, I can pick her up already," Bun offered.

"Okay, thank you," Linda replied.

Bun then sped off and made her way to Mamie.

Linda anxiously waited at home. Around half an hour later, Bun called her.

"My Lady, there's no one in here. I went to her room. It looks like Mamie was taken away. She was in the middle of packing since her luggage is on the floor. There are lots of signs of struggle too. Someone definitely took her by force," Bun said.
