The driver's name was Tom, and he was a wealthy businessman. Tom admitted that he crashed Applejack's car, but he argued that it was because he was drunk at the time.

Qi Lin asked: "Why did you run away after the accident?"

Tom responded: "I'm afraid of being charged with driving under the influence. I'll lose my license and my business."
