19 The Choice

@@

James went to work the next day as all ways. He has heard some rumors that companies rivaling Starry Dawn have begun to heavily invest into a VR game of their own, and that they are having rapid success. After he work he went to the online forums and saw countless complaints about the game itself. A lot of people said that aptitude and talent system were extremely unfair, and others saying that it is taking forever to level up. He then checked the site to see the top ranking players and was shocked to see that they were all stuck at level 20.

'This really isn't like any other game, in other games the top player would be at level 50 by now, but they are all stuck at level 20. No wonder why so many people wants to quit the game. If the rumors that I heard earlier were true, then those companies have their work cut out for them.'

He then logged back into the game. He was told to try potions as usual. This was his in game schedule from day to day. Occasionally when he logged in, they went to the forest to collect ingredients for professors ron potions. He never even taught him another spell after mana arrow. He couldn't get the professor to get him any items after the dagger and skill book. After the usual potion and occasional crafting experiments, he usually went into the training room to train mana arrow, or his dagger skills. After a month of the same boring schedule, something finally changed. The professor called for him. When he entered the his office, he saw a hammer and an empty potion tube on there.

"It has been over a month since you became my student. You have lasted longer than anyone else, as they nearly died or decided to run away. Since you lasted a month under me, I am obligated to teach you an secondary class as well. So I am giving you a choice. I specialize in magic crafting and potion making, so choose one of these for me to teach to you."

'Is this really happening?!?! My patience has finally paid off! What to choose, what to choose?'@@
