Chapter 47: Work Together

If possible, Ling Mo wanted to find a safer shelter with Ye Lian and Xia Na to live safely and leisurely for a while.

But after Ling Mo witnessed the birth of a mutated zombie with his own eyes last night, he could no longer sit still.

Under the sun, Ling Mo could see their faces and hands tainted with blood. He could even see the flesh stuck in their nails clearly… The rusty smell of blood rushed into Ling Mo’s nose before they even reached him. Their distorted faces were extremely terrifying.

These zombies didn’t only aim to tear Ling Mo apart; they were agile and powerful, they all stretched their arms out towards Ling Mo. One of the zombies even leaped high up into the air, throwing itself at Ling Mo.

Ling Mo had no way to avoid as he was attacked by numerous zombies at the same time.

However, he wasn’t nervous at all. He already controlled the first two of the crowd with his puppet control power when the zombies were approximately five meters away.

The two zombies he controlled immediately turned around and blocked the zombies behind them and attacked. And as for the zombie that leaped into the air, Ling Mo could dodge it easily now that he was much faster. However, he didn’t choose to dodge its attack. Instead, he stamped his foot and jumped. He waved his right arm and a silver beam slashed the zombie’s head off.

Fresh blood exploded from its body and the zombie’s arm immediately fell off. The overbearing power even forced the zombie to fall backward.

Ling Mo twisted his wrist without hesitation and stabbed the dagger into its heart as soon as the zombie tried to get back on his foot.

Xia Na appeared behind Ling Mo. Normal zombies wouldn’t attack Xia Na as they were of the same kind unless there were mutated zombies like last night.

At the same time, the two zombies Ling Mo controlled also fought well. They stopped two zombies and killed them while Ye Lian ended the life of the last one.

Ling Mo waved his hands lightly and the two zombies he controlled immediately strangled each other’s neck and twisted it roughly at the same kind…

Although working together with his ability, his fighting skills, and zombie puppets weren’t perfect, he was satisfied with the result.

As for Xia Na… She mimicked Ling Mo’s actions and picked out a bright red shirt.

As expected of a zombie, she liked red the best…

“It’s too obvious as a target!” Ling Mo grabbed it and found a black, lackey shirt before smiling at Xia Na oddly.

But after he passed the shirt to Xia Na, she looked confused and shoved the shirt back to Ling Mo and stared at him.
