Voyage With The Pirate King

Chapter 171 - The Cure For Love Sickness

While Ji Yao was turning the ship upside down, the Rui siblings snuck off the ship to find the deserter Rui Fei. As soon as they got on board the ship harbouring their fugitive brother they wanted to urge him to go back only to find him in a far worse state than Ji Yao and the one suffering the most was Huishe Yue.

He loved his twin sister dearly but she wouldn't hold it against him if he abandoned her kid, right? Huishe Yue had suffered so much that he was nearing the limit of his tolerance. One was being a tyrant here and the other was being a tyrant on Red Bane. If they didn't marry them off to each other they will be the ones to suffer.

After a round of fighting.... ahem, sorry I meant "training" which Huishe Yue somehow lost because this kid was getting even more stealthy with each round, he slumped his body against Lan Wu's acting pitiful like he had received a grave injury.

"No more..... ah everything is sore. Someone else will train with you after this, I am done," he said refusing to get off Lan Wu.

Rui Fei stood there calming his breathing with an ugly smile. If Huishe Yue stops training with him then he would surely have a horrible outburst and destroy everything in sight.

He retracted his seraphic energy only to sense something amiss. His brow creased as he turned around only to catch Rui Li and Rui Yewan about to climb off the main deck.

When they heard Huishe Yue's refusal to train with Rui Fei they knew right then and there that they were next. They had trained with him before and of course, it never ended well for them. Now Rui Fei was ten times faster and in a very terrible mood so how could they willingly standby to be Rui Fei's punching bag. Uh uh, no way was that happening.

Unfortunately for them, they weren't fast enough. Having been caught running the two froze for a second before coming right back up with nervous smiles. "Haha.... we weren't running just now. We um..... we just uh....," said Rui Li before elbowing Rui Yewan to help her out.

"We forgot something so..... we are just going to go since you are very busy," he said before turning to make a break for it.

A menacing smile crept up Rui Fei's face and before they knew it Rui Li and Rui Yewan lay flat on the ground on their backs. Rui Fei retracted the grey fog he had used to trip the two and walked over to them in slow steps. He crouched down before the both of them blocking the sun with his shadow.

"How about one training session? I promise I will be gentle," said Rui Fei lying through his teeth.

"Save those lies for your wedding night," mumbled Rui Yewan as he got up.

Rui Fei met his gaze and asked, "Could you repeat that?" genuinely curious to know what he said.

"Uh..... nothing. He was just kidding. Dage.....," said Rui Li with her voice softening at the end like a spoilt princess. She held his arm pouting her lips making her look especially cute which wasn't like her.

Rui Fei, "WTF."

The sun must have risen from the west today otherwise what else could explain this behaviour. Rui Li didn't stop there. She even did the slight foot stomp while calling sweetly with a slight tilt of her head.

Rui Fei, who couldn't bear such cuteness asked, "What do you want?"

Rui Li beckoned him with her hand for him to come closer. Since she had decided to act cute, Rui Fei complied and leaned down. Satisfied she started whispering something in his ear. His expression softened the longer she spoke and when she was done he pursed his lips trying to hide a smile.

"Are you serious?" he asked looking for obvious signs of defeat but there was none of that. She was telling the truth. Rui Li nodded her head with a twinkle in her eye. Her dreams were coming true. As soon as she gets back on Red Bane she should draft up a wedding planner for these two. She couldn't wait to be a flower girl.

Rui Fei immediately turned to leave to everyone's surprise. Huishe Yue, who couldn't mind his own business tried stopping him as he said, "Wait, wait.... what did she say?"

"She said it's none of your business and you are off the hook today," replied Rui Fei before entering the cabin he was sharing with his uncle.

Rui Li put her hand on her waist looking like a young madam with a proud look on her face. She poked uncle Yue's sore muscles and he winced as she said, "I have the perfect remedy that my brother and I use after a fight with your dear nephew. Would you like some?"

Huishe Yue almost cried having someone care for him. His nephew might not care much but this little girl..... bless her heart. He stretched out his hand to get the ointment but he barely touched it when Rui Li retracted her hand. She lifted a finger and said, "I will give it to you under one condition... you let him apply it on you."

Huishe Yue, "..."

Sure enough, a spawn of Prince Rui can't be kind-hearted. They were all vile little monsters seeking benefits. "Fine," he replied reaching out to grab it again but she hid it behind her back.

She leaned forward and whispered in his ear, "Then you tell me all about it later and I mean e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g... well, except the censored stuff."

Huishe Yue, "....."

Sorry, the word monster was too light. This was a little demon dress like a pumpkin.... because of the orange colour. She had already picked her next victims. The LanYue ship was ready to set sail and she was the instigator.

Lan Wu who had been sold without his knowledge was just staring at these two curious to know what they were talking about. He didn't mind putting the ointment on Huishe Yue but what was this condition.

"You are a weird little girl, do you know that?" Rui Li nodded her head as she was fully aware she had a problem. "Fine but I don't see the point....," he turned to Lan Wu and said, "Let's go..... my back is killing me."

Lan Wu narrowed his eyes scrutinizing Rui Li but she just smiled and said, "Go on, get going Captain, we don't have all day." Yes, we don't have all day. We need some skinship to satisfy our craving for dog food.

While we wait on that dog food nightfall approached and Ji Yao having worked too hard cleaning an entire ship all day he went to bed early.

Thinking it would be an uneventful dreamless sleep he curled up in bed like a fetus in a womb. Shortly thereafter he fell asleep but unlike these past three days, something rather interesting happened.

Rui Fei who hadn't shown his face for days showed his face in a dream. This time Ji Yao didn't call him over neither did he hide. He strode over with an unreadable expression just as Ji Yao opened his mouth saying, "You finally showed up..... I thought you were.....," but before he could finish his lips were sealed by Rui Fei's.

The Huishe cub was very enthusiastic with his fingers caressing the back of Ji Yao's neck before slipping his fingers through Ji Yao's hair deepening the kiss.
