Ji Yao had been seduced through and through by Rui Fei. It is also true that his soul had been captured by this malevolent wolf and he knew that he would spend the rest of his life with this person. But for some reason, he felt something was wrong with the man lying on top of him while pinning him down on the ground.

The sense of dread was familiar to him. It was the same one he felt in that dream that he had. For the past few nights, he had also felt the same feeling but he hadn't had that dream again.

He felt like his body was being enveloped by a dark aura wrapping itself around him tightly like it was afraid he would vanish in a split second. It was terrifying but at the same time comfortable like it wouldn't hurt him. Now that same aura had manifested itself as Rui Fei greedily sucked at his lips like he was eating something delicious.

Ji Yao couldn't let this game continue. He wanted to figure out what exactly was happening with Rui Fei but the way the youth was clamping him down kissing and nibbling at his neck Ji Yao knew it wasn't going to be easy.

Another thing that was increasing the difficulty of this task was Ji Yao himself. His body felt hot all over like he was going to burst under Rui Fei's pampering. His body was honestly responding to this fiery passion that he found himself unable to speak properly.

"Fei-er, mm...Fei, stop," he said in a weak husky voice as he tried to free himself but in Rui Fei's ears, it was oozing with coquetry scratching at his heart.

The hand on Ji Yao's wrists tightened as he thrust his hips forward rubbing his hard member against the man's crotch.

Ji Yao gasped when an intoxicating feeling spread up from his lower half. Rui Fei slowly kissed Ji Yao's neck moving up to his ear with his scorching breath brushing against his lover's skin.

"But I want you... Yao-ge, why don't you want to give yourself to me," he whispered genuinely expressing his frustration. His gaze was laced with a layer of obsession that Ji Yao didn't notice.

He was struggling to steady his breathing while staring at the ceiling. He had to coax this cub into letting him go. He was already inching closer to the thin line between rational thinking and 'follow your urges, deal with the consequences later'. 

"You know my reasons..... now get off or you won't get anything on your birthday," said Ji Yao his tone ruthless and on point. As expected Rui Fei got up immediately and even straightened Ji Yao's clothes as he put away his unnerving aura.

He sat cross-legged with an innocent expression as he stared at Ji Yao. Ji Yao squinted his eyes while watching him like he was a criminal on trial. "What's going on with you?" asked Ji Yao deciding on a more direct approach, "Did something happen?"

Rui Fei knew what Ji Yao was talking about but how was he supposed to say it. He knew something malicious lay dormant in his aether and it occasionally reared its ugly head. He knew it had something to do with his father but if he inherited something from that demon would Ji Yao still like him?

At this point, he hadn't realised yet that this trait was no longer lying dormant but had become a part of him. It was entwined with his Huishe seraphic energy and there was no turning back. What did this mean?

It meant he was as crazy as his father and whatever grasped his attention will become his obsession. Prince Rui's obsession is power and his obsession is Ji Yao. This alone should clearly spell what would happen if anyone screwed with his relationship with Ji Yao.

Rui Fei shook his head saying, "I am fine except....," pausing with an aggrieved expression, "here." He took Ji Yao's hand intending to place it on the pole standing erect like at a flag raising ceremony.

Ji Yao's lips twitched and two seconds later Rui Fei was standing outside with the door shut in his face. With his shoulders hung low he wanted to coax Ji Yao into letting him in like a puppy scratching at the bedroom door begging to be let in after tearing the fluff out of all the pillows.

But before he could even act pitiful the door was suddenly slid open again and he was pulled in by the collar. It seemed Ji Yao recalled that he had a new policy that is not to kick out Rui Fei no matter how angry he was.

Rui Fei grinned like a fool expecting to be punished but despite the conditions being perfect for a wall slam and make out session it didn't happen. This is why Rui Fei was sulking the very next day. After all that fondling and making out he didn't even get a creamy snack. Heck, he didn't even get a goodnight kiss and still had to sleep on the other bed.

His siblings noticed his horrible mood but because they were concerned about last night to the point of being sleepless, they had to approach him and ask. After pushing each other forward while arguing about who should initiate the conversation they heard a deep sullen voice ask, "What do you want to say?"

Rui Fei had long realised something was up and deliberately slowed his steps to give them an opportunity but the two kept arguing. He had no other choice but to initiate the conversation.

Rui Li who was the last one to be pushed forward stammered, "S-so... how, how are you um... how are you feeling? I, I, I mean you don't have, have to tell us if you don't feel like it," while scratching the back of her head.

Rui Fei's steps paused and he slowly turned to look at her with his hands behind his back. His gaze shifted between Rui Li and Rui Yewan for a second before he looked away his sight directly landing on Ji Yao who was walking ahead.

The two who had been stared at with an unreadable expression took a step back cowering like wee little lambs after being threatened. When his gaze moved away from them they felt a great sense of relief. That gaze was unintentionally menacing. It was as though they were in the presence of their father.

"I am not like him," suddenly said Rui Fei startling the two, "you don't have to fear me." When Rui Fei spoke the latter sentence he lowered his gaze as he clenched his fist
