"Damn! a crafting material for weapons!" Mark exclaimed loudly.

Other than the materials of the first continent such as Iron, diamond, netherite ore, and the others, there are also materials could be acquired from killing monsters, though the chance of them dropping is very low.

"We are really in luck today" Mark said happily.

"So what are we going to craft with it?" Chris asked.

"Your daggers of course, this has a poison property, its most suitable for an assassin type like you" Mark said.

"Eh? no, I don't need it you take it since you have been fighting in the front" Chris said.

"Heh, do you really think I will always let you fight behind me?" Mark said with an evil smile that ,made Chris shudder.

"O-okay" Chris immediately went away and continued picking the item drops, Mark chuckled then continued looking around, there is no way he would let his comrades be weak, there was a saying, 'make a team so strong that they wont even know who the boss is'

Mark glanced at Chris and decided to double no, make his training 10x harder!

At least at that time when the second continent comes out, Chris doesn't have to rely on him every time and also for Chris to grow stronger.

Just as Mark continued to look around, he noticed a shiny thing at the corner of the cave, it was really hard to spot since many spiders were piled around it but it wasn't able to escape from Mark's eyes.

He curiously went towards it, and his eyes shone as he saw what it was, "Diamonds!" Mark exclaimed loudly.

Chris had his ears perked up when he heard Mark exclaim and immediately came running towards him, he kicked Mark away and looked at the Diamond!

"Yes! it was really a diamond!" Chris yelled at excitement.

"B-boss, could you not kick me like that" Mark said as he stood up.

"That is your fault for teasing me" Chris glared at him.

"Oh, yes, I still have to look for the other drops" Mark said.

*Whistle~

Mark turned his head to the other way and started whistling, he then went towards the monster drops that haven't picked up yet, they did not dare to waste any materials since it was very important for the late stages.

These materials seemed to be easy to acquire but Mark knows that as they progress in the game, for example these materials disappearing at the 3rd or 4th continent, it was better be safe than sorry, you never know what will happen in the future.

As Mark was picking the monsters item drops, Chris started mining the diamonds, there were about 4 pieces of diamonds from the group and Chris picked it all up but as he mined the last one, lava came out from the place Chris mined the last diamond.

":Shit!" Chris felt his hand burning as he was very close to the lava, he immediately backed away but he accidentally dropped the last diamond,.

"No!" Chris immediately tried to reach the diamond but the lava was very close, once the lava reaches the diamond then it will disappear! such a precious material will burn!

Chris dived towards the diamond and immediately snatched the diamond away, Chris immediately stored it inside his inventory the moment it touched his hand then the lava near him engulfed his hand.

*Psshhhh!

The sound of his hand being burnt resounded and in the next moment, an overwhelming pain assaulted Chris, he screamed loudly as he pull his hand away from the lava,

Mark turned his head towards Chris when he heard him yell and he saw how Chris saved the diamond.

*Swoosh!

Mark reappeared beside Chris and immediately threw a bottle of water towards him, then dashed towards where the lava falling out and blocked it with tons of dirt, he also put a barricade around the lava to stop it from spreading.

He did it very fast so the moment he finished he appeared beside Chris once again and picked up the water bottle he threw and opened the lid, he immediately poured the water on Chris's hand and a sizzling sound came from it.

The fire was dispersed and Mark sighed in relief, thankfully, it was not real life and just in game, now that the burn effect from Chris was gone, his injury also started healing at a slow rate.

They both sighed in relief as they bot sat on the ground , "Man, you really love that diamond huh?" Mark teased.

"Shut up, the diamond is very important for the development of our guild" Chris said.

"I know, that is our goal, but don't let that goal become your obsession, even without that, just ask for it, I will put the whole world under your palms" Mark said then stood up and continued picking up the item drops.

Chris looked at Mark's back and then looked at his hand that was burnt, it was slowly turning to its normal state, "Obsession huh? that is right, its my goal, not my obsession, I will show it to them" Chris lowered his head and an angry glare appeared in his eyes.

After they picked up all of the item drops from the monsters, Chris and Mark returned back to their base, it was already night time when they got back, and it was also the time to log out, after storing their items to the chests.

Both went to their beds and went to sleep and finally logged off.

Chris and Mark came out the Virtual Cabin, and the nurses around them handed them a towel to wipe the sticky liquid on their body, just then a person entered the room.

It was an old man with blue hair and has a beard, he was wearing a black butler suit and was very respectful when he entered the room, he walked in front of Chris and bowed.

"Greetings Young Master" He greeted.

"What do you need Tommas?" Chris said.

"Your Grand father has called for you along with your good friend over here" Tommas said.

"I understand, we will go immediately after changing clothes" Chris replied.

"I understand, I will be waiting for you at the door" Tommas bowed once again and left.

"Uh..." Mark didn't know what was happening and was dumbfounded.

"My Grandfather's butler, Tommas" Chris said.

"Oh...." Mark nodded.

"Anyway, lets go change, don't worry my grandfather is a good guy" Chris said.

"Okay...." Mark didn't react, it doesn't sound convincing at all, he was a little bit worried since he had been free loading with Chris for a while now, "Would they make me leave?" Mark murmured.

*Plak!

"Ouch!" Mark groaned from pain.

"Don't worry too much, you will see what I'm saying when we meet him, lets go get changed" Chris said then pulled Mark along with him.
