The woman threw another fireball at her.

Cheng Xiu ran towards the woman, grabbing a needle from the poison bottle.

She threw it at the fireball.

As the fireball started to fizzle, a second needle passed through the centre of the fireball that the first needle had gone through, and went straight towards the heart of the woman.

DaYin gashed and the bloody hand on her back grabbed ahold of the stone troll and threw it towards the incoming needle.

The statue of the troll turned into dust.

Cheng Xiu kept running towards the woman, her eyes on the mace that one of the yellow-tunics held.

Cheng Xiu ran towards her enemy at full speed, the mace held in her hand tightly.

The woman gave her a mocking look, and a second bloody hand came out of her back.

This hand dashed towards Cheng Xiu's mace, as the first one grabbed another troll, turning it too into a statue.

Cheng Xiu swung the mace in her hand and bashed it against the incoming hand.

The hand reacted in a way that surprised Cheng Xiu as it turned elastic.

The swing of the mace hardly did any damage except to leave scratch marks on the woman's skin.

DaYin wailed as she looked at her hand. "Ruined! My beauty is ruined! You!"

Glowing crimson eyes looked at Cheng Xiu with absolute hatred. "You destroyed my beauty! I will destroy you!"

The woman's screaming words echoed around them, and Cheng Xiu was surprised to feel that the ground itself started to reverberate in response to the woman's voice.

The woman's scream increased even more.

Cheng Xiu frowned as the pain in her head increased.

She did not have time to think about her pain though. She needed to defeat her enemy.

Cheng Xiu started to swing at the bloody hands of the woman repeatedly.

DaYin tried to scratch and tear away the limbs of the human cultivator as she walked forward as well.

The green fumes around them increased.

DaYin threw another fireball at Cheng Xiu.

The white-robed Human Cultivator threw another Zhenjiu pin at the witch.

DaYin panted heavily as she ran towards the enemy. The Qi in her body decreased, and hence, the sickly look of her physique increased.

DaYin screamed in frustration as another needle destroyed her fireball.

DaYin's body glowed red, her robes become tattered and black in colour. Half of her face disappeared and another face took its place.

The witch raised her hand again, and this time she launched iron blades at the human Cultivator.

Cheng Xiu glared.

[One minute until Player Selafia is forced to log out of the Deep Dive.]

Cheng Xiu raised her poisonous needle again.

She ran through the blades, letting them impale her as long as she could avoid the vital areas and her legs.

She gritted her teeth through the pain and dashed off.

The witch of the many faces was unable to show any of her other faces or their specialities as she was caught too off guard. The pain should have been enough to stop the human Cultivator from advancing but it barely slowed her down.

DaYin raised her hand to create another attack.

Cheng Xiu let go of the mace in her hand and snatched the broadsword that was strapped to one of the tunic trolls.

She dashed forwards.

DaYin threw a fireball at Cheng Xiu in her hurry to get Cheng Xiu away from her.

[Ding!]

[Player Selafia will be forced out of the Deep Dive in 20 seconds.]

Cheng Xiu grabbed the poison bottle and threw it at the fireball.

The fire burned away the bottle.

The poison in it doused out the flame immediately and there was still some spare poison that fell towards DaYin.

DaYin gasped in shock and tried to step away from it only to be impaled by cheng Xiu's broadsword.

Cheng Xiu jumped away just as the position touched the face of the woman, destroying her face instantly.

[Ding!]

Cheng Xiu fell to the ground, and held her head, crying as the pain increased even more.

Cheng Xiu watched as the statues started to come back to life. There seemed to have been a lot more trolls who had turned into stone statues than she had first estimated.

Cheng Xiu's body turned into a streak of light and disappeared from the castle ruins.

The NPC known as Liso blinked her eyes and looked around, unsure of what had happed. "DaYin? Where is my Lady DaYin?"

The trolls looked at the human NPC with complicated eyes.

"What should we do about this human girl?" a young troll asked the leader troll nervously. "That human in the white-robe killed that witch…and saved us. It means…"

The leader troll sighed. He looked at Liso with an awkward smile. "Why don't we go find your family?"

Liso frowned. "No. Why!"

"Because you belong to a race that the Trolls are indebted to, and you were a victim, just like we were," a female troll said. "The troll race is a community, and we shall treat the other races just as such. If you are the enemy of one of us, you are the enemy of all. And if you are the friend of one of us, we shall all treat you as a friend."

Liso's eyes brightened. "Does this mean you are going to marry me?"

The leader troll snorted. "No."

Liso deflated. "Oh."

The leader slapped a talisman on Liso, and himself, and every troll in the area and the one human went away in a flash of light.

The faceless woman in red straightened up from her position as eyes appeared on her face.

The eyes were bright. They were deep black in colour and phoenix shaped.

The figure disappeared into a burst of rose petals.

The golden rings on the floor disappeared, and the castle became lifeless once more.

The eerie wind blew, and the place where the different attacks had happened returned to its original state.. Old but mark free.
