Chapter 6 – Let’s Tease The Little Milk Dog “Again”

Jiang Che’s shirts are all the same style. In order to distinguish them, he marks a shirt every time he buys it, and it has slowly become a habit overtime. On the shirt that Lin Ji took away, Jiang Che had drawn a big picture of himself on the neckline, looking very funny. Lin Ji discovered this mark when he was putting away his clothes. Jiang Che’s somewhat cute expression made him feel moved, so he took a black marker and drew a mugshot of himself next to Jiang Che, then he carefully folded the shirt and placed it on the head of his bed

Jiang Che looked up uncomfortably, and happened to make eye contact with the man sitting at the counter.

The man wore a pair of thick black glasses and one could tell from his obedient sitting posture that he was stiff.

Jiang Che leaned on the sofa, tilted his head and raised his eyebrows at the man’s gaze, with a mischievous smile on his lips. The man didn’t seem to have expected Jiang Che to look up, he openly “teased” himself, burying his face under the counter in the next second.

Jiang Che burst out laughing instantly when he saw his appearance as a little daughter-in-law. He never expected that the other party could stare at him with such naked eyes, but he was too shy to even look directly at him. It was the first time he’s seen anything like that, it was very interesting.

He put down his phone, walked to the counter, looked back at his girlfriend who was still excitedly picking out clothes, and became immediately more interested in the man in front of him.

“Hello.”

As soon as Jiang Che spoke, he saw that the man was stunned. He then stiffly raised his head and the big eyes stared straight at him, “H-Hello.”

At that moment, Jiang Che was deeply attracted by the other person’s appearance. Under those thick glasses, there was a pair of beautiful eyes hidden, bright as spring water. Lin Ji had just said a word, and his hands had already reached out to him, however, in the next second, the person he had been thinking about for so long was taken away by someone else, and she spoke intimate words that he couldn’t even think of.

“Okay, okay, what don’t you look good on?” Jiang Che patted her head and put his hand back in his pocket. “I’ll go pay the bill, you go out and wait for me.”

The girl was satisfied, and Jiang Che took out the card for Lin Ji to swipe, but there wasn’t enough money inside.

“So awkward, I only have this card on me,” He embarrassedly put back the card in his wallet, “Can I write an IOU?”

“The store doesn’t allow debts.” Lin Ji also felt a little embarrassed, but he didn’t want Jiang Che to have a bad impression of him, “I can help you pay first, and you can pay me back later.”

“Okay.” Jiang Che smiled and took out his mobile phone. This little guy is so simple that he can dig himself into the hole he dug without having to set him up. “Let’s add contact information.”

When Jiang Che gave the phone to the other party and brought it back after adding friends, he carefully touched the other party’s hand on purpose, “Thanks.”

After speaking, he left without looking back.

Lin Ji watched Jiang Che leave. In the distance, a man and a woman made their way towards a silver car. He stood there, hesitating to speak, not knowing when their next meeting would be. What was his relationship with that woman? Does he often do those kinds of things with others? Could it be that when he said it was his first time he was deceiving him?

The more he thought about it, the sadder Lin Ji became. He took off his glasses just now, and Jiang Che didn’t recognise him. Feeling upset, he thought about whether to invite Jiang Che out to have a good conversation. He felt that he wanted to be responsible for him. He must be responsible for him.

His fingertips were still numb after being touched by Jiang Che. Lin Ji raised his head, and gently placed the place touched by Jiang Che under his lips. After closing his eyes and opening them, his voice and eyes darkened, mellow and elegant, “You have to be responsible for me too.”
