“He must have been annoyed by what Yiyi said, so he came to question me!”

Qu Wan couldn’t help but feel grieved every time she saw this man. She had been trying to get him out of her mind, but wherever she went, she would saw him for no reason!

Three years ago, she fled this city and to avoid seeing Ling Mubai again, although her uncle still lived here, she had never been back.

After getting changed, Lin Yiyi walked out of the fitting room and looked into the mirror. “Wanwan, you have a good taste!” Sure enough, this dress fitted her so well that it made her look even more graceful.

When she found Qu Wan in low spirits, Lin Yiyi thought it must be because of Jiang Xinyue, ”Let’s go! I feel suffocated with that b*tch around!”

Qu Wan walked out silently with her.

It had been three years since she and Ling Mubai divorced. Jiang Xinyue was so excited that she immediately asked the shop assistant to pack the clothes for her, not noticing the soft look in Ling Mubai’s eyes had been replaced by coldness.

After coming out of the store, Ling Mubai asked the driver to take Jiang Xinyue home while he went to the office.

He had had a grim look on his face ever since he set foot in the office as if everyone owed him a lot of money. Those assistants and secretaries were all unnerved, daring not to speak to him.

After a while, the marketing manager knocked on the door and walked in. “Mr. Ling, here’s a list of our recent investments and sponsorship. Please have a look.”

Casting a glance at the list, Ling Mubai immediately saw the name of Lin Yiyi. He then took out his pen and crossed her name off the list. “Withdraw our sponsorship of this project.”

The manager was so stunned that he almost thought he had heard it wrong. “Mr. Ling, this project is already under way. If we stop sponsoring, the money we already put in would go down the drain!”

Looking up at him, Ling Mubai said, “Go tell the leader of the TV station that if they want us to sponsor this program, they have to replace Lin Yiyi with someone else. I don’t want to hear the name anymore!”
