33. You’re Getting Me in Trouble

Wang Zicheng curved his lips into a smile. “So you think I should give them to you, huh?”

Wang Zicheng turned back to the host and explained, “Don’t get me wrong! I didn’t go to the female guest No. 5 because I liked her. She looked like the lady who served me in the night club last night, so I came to have a look.”

His remark set everyone in an uproar and even the host was stupified. No. 5 blushed as if blood were spitting out of her face at any moment, and she really wished she could run away through an underpass.

Disregarding those people’s surprised look, Wang Zicheng smiled and shifted his gaze to Qu Wan who was in a corner.

Now Qu Wan had figured out what this guy came for! After acting for such a long time, he finally showed his true color and switched the topic to her!

Striding over, Wang Zicheng raised his voice. “Host, I’m going to choose the female guest No. 9, Qu Wan!”

Watching Wang Zicheng step over with roses in his hands, Qu Wan felt her flesh creep and she leaned backward unconsciously without taking the flowers from him.

“Qu Wan, I like you!” Wang Zicheng said gently with a smile.

Qu Wan couldn’t help but shiver slightly. “Mr. Wang, What do you like about me?” she asked, stroking the goosebumps on her arm.

“No reason is needed to have a crush on someone!” Wang Zicheng started flirting with her.

Not until then did the host come back to his senses. “Mr. Wang is right! People don’t need any reasons to fall in love with someone. And only such love deserves to be called true love!”

“Wang Zicheng, I’m recording a show. What are you doing here?” Qu Wan asked in a low voice, glaring at him.

“I’m recording a show as well!” Wang Zicheng answered with a solemn look.

Having no choice, Qu Wan had to go through the flow in front of the audience. “Mr. Wang, what do you think of marriage?” she asked with an awkward smile.

“Marriage means love, a commitment to both parties,” Wang Zicheng put away his smile and answered seriously.

Shaking her head, Qu Wan continued, “Mr. Wang, though your answer is perfect, it’s not what I want. I’m sorry, but I don’t think we’re a good match.”

Both Wang Zicheng and the audience were caught dumbfounded.

It was rare to get such a golden bachelor’s favor. How come this woman turn him down?

After freezing for a moment, all the other female guests cheered up again by the possibility of being chosen by Wang Zicheng.

However, Wang Zicheng wasn’t into any of them. Holding the microphone, he announced, facing the camera, “Whether she accepts me or not, I won’t change my mind. I’ll wait for her until she’s willing to go with me!”
