Ways to handle this little demon

In a little inn of butterfly village, there were dozens of guests in snow- white sect robes enjoying their meals whilst chattering with their peers. It seemed like this year, all the sect disciples were bound to be hard-working volunteers. Renovation in butterfly village was yet to come to an end. Now there came lotus village that needed their help as well. 

Sitting at a table which was nearest to the inn's entrance were Wang Li Jie and his two buddies. Li Qing and Huang Guiren had just came back from lotus village after collecting hundreds of scattered corpses of puppets.

As for Wang Li Jie, it's only been a while since he came down the emerald jade mountain. 

It's safe to say once he arrived at butterfly village to start volunteering for the day, it was already lunch time. Other disciples had long left the peak to go volunteer in the villages right after their morning classes and trainings finished.

But for the youth, he didn't manage to.....because he'd been scolded by his dad this whole morning together with his little master. Since both of them chose to tell the truth that Wang Li Jie had been wounded by deadly ice blade and got poisoned because the two of them fought on the very first day of their training... Of course, things would only end up with the duo getting severely reprimanded by immortal Wang. 

" Li Jie, do you know how stinky those corpses are? They smell worse than shit that I had to cover my nose all the time whilst cleaning them. "

"Ah.... Damn it!.... Guiren..... we're having our lunch here. Why do you keep saying such disgusting things? Now my appetite is completely ruined. Thanks to you. "

Covering both of his ears, the helpless youth snapped at Huang Guiren only to get a "you're welcome. " back from the other. The cheeky Huang Guiren was even planning to continue this topic about corpses, when a sudden smack suddenly came and landed on the back of his head. The culprit was Li Qing whose appetite had been completely ruined for real here. He also had just come back from lotus village after collecting all the corpses just like Huang Guiren.

Li Qing had been forcing himself not to recall any of the scene from that village lest he couldn't have his meal properly. But who would have expected this buddy of his would choose to bring up such a fuckin topic about the corpses? 

Wang Li Jie was laughing at Huang Guiren who was acting pathetic after getting hit on his head when he saw his little master walked into the inn. Their eyes instantly met at that moment. Due to this morning's embarrassing incident, Wang Li Jie didn't even know how to face Zhang Long Wei. 

Zhang Long Wei gave the youth a vague smile before quickly walking over to a table at the corner of the inn. Seeing this, Wang Li Jie creased his brows. The youth thought his little master was going to come and sit at their table once he saw him.

But Wang Li Jie couldn't blame his little master for acting this way either. If he wanted to blame someone, Wang Li Jie could only blame his past self. This whole month he was training with his little master, wasn't he the one who kept ignoring the other every time they happened to encounter at the sect dining hall? 

Despite knowing that his little master had no one to accompany or chat with him whilst eating, he did really ignore Zhang Long Wei. First, it's because he really disliked the other. Second, Wang Li Jie didn't want his buddies to learn the fact that he knew Li Zian. Because if they knew, they were going to ask him how he and his little master knew each other for sure. Just to hide their master- disciple relationship, Wang Li Jie didn't want to make things awkward by telling lies. 

Thinking back all those things right now, Wang Li Jie even felt ashamed of himself. He was extremely ignorant at that time, didn't he? Despite the age, he shouldn't have felt ashamed to admit that, this little master had been teaching him swordsmanship, to his buddies.

Besides, it's not like his little master was a bad person either. When he was having a hard time like last night, Zhang Long Wei didn't abandon him. His little master knew how to worry or take care of him. At times, Zhang Long Wei could be really gentle and even super caring towards him. Though he hate to admit it, deep inside, Wang Li Jie really enjoyed being cared like this by Zhang Long Wei. 

Since his two buddies were sitting on the other side of the table with their back facing the inn's door, the two didn't see Zhang Long Wei coming in. If only his two buddies also agreed to let Zhang Long Wei join, this lunch would be the very first meal he got to have together with his little master... 

"Guys... Zian... 

Can I let him join us? "

Following their buddy's eyes, Li Qing and Huang Guiren turned to look back only to see Zhang Long Wei sitting and having his lunch alone at a table in the corner. Huang Guiren had no reason to refuse. But Li Qing... 

"He only enjoys eating alone. If you make him join us, I'm afraid he would immediately lose his appetite just from seeing my face. "

"Well....how do you know without trying? Please... Let him join us just this once, okay? "

Seeing his buddy being this desperate to call his brother, Li Qing couldn't refuse anymore either. Just this morning, Wang Li Jie had already told them that Li Zian was his master. Besides, until they found the antidote, Wang Li Jie would be in need of help from Li Zian every night. No matter how much he disliked Li Zian, for his buddy's sake, he should comply this much. 

"Just do as you want. "

Once he got permission from Li Qing, Wang Li Jie immediately walled over to his little master's table. Zhang Long Wei seemed a bit surprised to see the youth coming his way. 

"What is it? "

Do you wanna join us? Just a couple of words... he needed to say just a couple of words. But Wang Li Jie found himself not being able to utter a single word. When it came to his little master, he wasn't used to saying good words. It felt somehow awkward, especially when Zhang Long Wei also was unusually looking at him with such a warm smile. 

"I... you..... um... "

Finding it really hard to invite Zhang Long Wei to their table, the perplexed youth who couldn't manage to utter a single word, finally made up his mind to show it in action. Suddenly grabbing the wooden tray on the table with dishes his little master was yet to finish, Wang Li Jie hurriedly dashed over to his own table. 

"Hey... that's my.... "

Seeing the youth putting down the tray on his table right in front of the empty seat next to him, Zhang Long Wei finally realized what the youth was trying to do. Wang Li Jie wanted him to join their group...but he was too shy to say it? 

With a muffled laughter, Zhang Long Wei walked over to the table Wang Li Jie and his buddies were sitting. Quietly, Zhang Long Wei seated himself next to the youth. Staring hard at the youth who had his head lowered so much that it almost seemed like half of his face was going to sink into the soup bowl, Zhang Long Wei pursed his lips to hide his smile.

Somehow, the youth right now seemed really cute to him.....
