Ways to handle this little demon

" What? You guys already broke up. Why didn't I know?"

With an uninterested look that seemed to be saying " Why in the world do I need to let you know about such personal matters?", Zhang Long Wei instantly silenced the inquisitive Huang Guiren.

" Don't misunderstand us, Li Jie....."

Hearing his little master turned to tell him such words, Wang Li Jie went blank for a moment. This tone.....Why was Zhang Long Wei using such a tone? It was as if he was telling his present girlfriend not to misunderstand about him and his ex.

" Um....okay.....I'm just asking."

" Wait a minute. Did Zhao Xiuying not go to Yue Guang Sect as an exchange disciple? Then, why do another exchange disciple from Yue Guang Sect not come to our sect?"

The curious Li Qing asked. It was not only this year.....the previous year....the year before the previous year....and the year before that...Let's just say it was since Li Qing joined this sect. He hadn't seen any exchange disciples from another sect coming to their Jianyu Sect. It's been a long time that Li Qing wanna ask Wang Li Jie about that. But he kept forgetting. 

" Ahhh.....that's.....maybe It's just like last year.....no one wanna come to our sect as an exchange disciple. The sect's territory is remote and our masters are infamous for being strict with their disciples, so..."

It's almost like this for several years already. Amongst seven great sects of human realm, there's a tradition of exchanging disciples once every year. In the first three years of this tradition, exchange disciples from other sects did come to Jianyu Sect. But no disciple came anymore since the fourth year. Only disciples from this sect had to go to other sects.

There were a couple of reasons for no exchange disciples to come to their sect. First, Jianyu Sect existed in a remote area like emerald jade mountain. Disciples in imperial city and other big cities were used to luxurious daily life, so they really disliked staying in such a rural area like here. Second, sect masters here were really strict. It didn't mean masters from other sects didn't have such strict disciplines though. Every sect had both strict and lenient masters. But in Jianyu Sect, almost all the masters and elders were deadly strict.

Third, many disciples in imperial cities had more authority than their own masters. This might sound a bit ridiculous. But it really was an undeniable truth. Since most disciples in imperial city came from big and wealthy families, some were even children of imperial families, masters didn't dare to force their disciples to do something they didn't want to....like making them go to Jianyu Sect as exchange disciples against their will. 

Elders of Jianyu Sect also knew what sorts of difficulties other sects were going through whilst trying to maintain the tradition of exchanging students with their sect. Later, it had became almost like a regular occurrence for this Jianyu Sect not to get any exchange students from other sects. Even so, sect elders didn't care much about that. If other sects didn't send any disciples to their sect, it was their own loss. They lost their chances to learn under talented Jianyu Sect elders and masters. Though Jianyu sect existed in a rural area, skills of elders and sect disciplines were absolute superb.

" Isn't it being disrespectful towards our sect elders?"

Li Qing who wasn't satisfied with Wang Li Jie's answer asked again with mild anger.

" I don't think so though. After all, it's our sect elders themselves who told other sect elders that they don't need to send any exchange students to our sect if it isn't easy for them."

Wang Li Jie kept on explaining and Li Qing kept on questioning whilst Huang Guiren and Zhang Long Wei just busied themselves being listeners. Not long after all four of them finished their meals and left the inn. Huang Guiren and Li Qing had already gone back to lotus village to continue their unfinished task of collecting corpses. As for Wang Li Jie, he was dragged to a certain place in lotus village by his little master.

" Where exactly are we going right now?"

" To temporary shelter for prostitutes....."

" What?"

Trying to remove Zhang Long Wei's grip on his wrist, the shocked Wang Li Jie gave a questioning look to his little master.

" That's...We're going to assist physician Chen there. During last night incident, many prostitutes were injured. What? Are you thinking we're going there for some other reason?"

Giving a big fat " Of course not!", Wang Li Jie awkwardly followed Zhang Long Wei. Yeah...He really did think his little master wanted to go there to get some entertainment in broad daylight.

After finding out that Li Zian had dated a beautiful female disciple like Zhao Xiuying, Wang Li Jie's impression of Zhang Long Wei had changed a bit. His little master was not only a pervert but also a playboy. Just from the look, it's so clear that Zhao Xiuying still had feelings for him. But Zhang Long Wei disregarded it.

To forsake such a pretty young lady when the other still had feelings for him, according to his own experience, there's only one possible reason. Zhang Long Wei had found someone even prettier or more attractive than that junior. Don't ask how Wang Li Jie could tell it that exactly. It's just that he'd got enough experiences.

Wang Li Jie had no problem with his little master being a playboy. After all, even he himself was a playboy. The only thing that kept weighing on his mind was that his little master was still so young.

So, when his little master said that they were going to the shelter of prostitutes earlier, Wang Li Jie whose impression of Zhang Long Wei had already upgraded to a playboy, couldn't help misunderstanding.

Wang Li Jie was even thinking of how to drag his little master back to butterfly village by twisting his ears or even smacking his head. His little master was still too young and he couldn't let him commit debauchery no matter what, until the other became a real man like himself. But it turned out all of this was just a misunderstanding. Maybe his little master was not even a playboy like he thought? Could there be any other reason for Li Zian to forsake Zhao Xiuying?....
