Ways to handle this little demon

" You want your baby back, right?.....come and get it....hahaha.."

Feeling amused by the stupid young lad coming his way in such a pathetic state, He Jingyi swung the little snake in mid-air as he said those words. In his entire life, He Jingyi had never seen someone as stupid as this before. This young cultivator didn't even care about his own bleeding wounds and just kept trying to save this demonic beast?....wasn't it utterly brainless? He just couldn't understand how this demonic beast even managed to make the young cultivator so obsessed with it. What's so special about it anyway?

Feeling impatient by the slow Yang Zhiqiang who was taking an eternity to rush towards him with those wobbly legs, He Jingyi glanced down and took a casual look at the little snake in his hand. 

There's nothing special about it. Silvery scales, silvery body and a crimson symbol of Shi Zi clan right above its silvery eyes....wait a minute.....Shi Zi clan symbol? No way. How come this little snake had the symbol of Shi Zi demonic clan on its head? Not to mention, the hue of the symbol was crimson. Didn't this sort of symbol color only belong to noble members of Shi Zi demonic clan? How on earth this little snake had such an impressive mark on its head?

Seeing Yang Zhiqiang coming closer and closer to him, He Jingyi threw the little snake back to Ming Zixin once again. Poor Yang Zhiqiang who was this close to passing out due to serious injuries all over his body, had to turn around and rush back to Ming Zixin.

His face was already getting paler and paler. But Yang Zhiqiang didn't stop and rushed over to the crown prince, his legs and arms already getting sticky with his own blood. His golden sect robe was now tinged with crimson blood all over. Yang Zhiqiang shouldn't even be able to stand up by now. But the youth was surprisingly so stubborn and kept on trying to get his little snake back. 

Absentmindedly, He Jingyi gazed at the little white snake in Ming Zixin's hand from the distance, his brows creasing. Right now, his mind was all filled with puzzles.

Somehow, He Jingyi got a feeling like he had seen this little snake before but couldn't exactly recalled where or when it was. For a snake, to have the symbol of Shi Zi clan .....not to mention it was a symbol of noble clan members...there really was something strange with this snake.

Shi Zi Clan...it was a demonic clan under the control of his father. It's safe to say that Shi Zi clan members were the most loyal subordinates of his father. As a child of his father, He Jingyi, of course, was really familiar with that clan. That's why he could instantly recognize the symbol of Shi Zi clan on the little snake's head just at the first glance.

A snake with shi zi symbol...a snake with shi zi symbol...a snake with shi zi...wait!.....that young shi zi demon from a year ago!.....ahhh, what is his name again?...Yeah, Lishi Ye! That young demon who protected him from the curse of Xu Daiyu.....could it be that, this little snake was him?.... 

A year ago, He Jingyi and demoness Xu Daiyu had an intense fight in the imperial city of humans. Despite being a lady, Xu Daiyu was as powerful as his father. Even for demon lord Zhang, it wasn't easy to deal with this fierce demoness. 

She was such a demoness with formidable power. But, a year ago, He Jingyi accidentally provoked Xu Daiyu who came to the imperial city of humans. In the process of trying to confront that demoness, He Jingyi almost died.

By then, when the fight between him and Xu Daiyu occurred, Lishi Ye was also there. At that time, Lishi Ye was only a sixteen-year-old young demon. But since his father, Shi zi demonic clan leader, made Lishi Ye followed He Jingyi to human realm as his subordinate, that young demon was also just beside him when the fight broke out.

That night, he was terribly beaten black and blue by the demoness. Just as he had been defeated, Xu Dairy attempted to use an unknown curse against him. But Lishi Ye loyally protected him. And, instead of him, that young demon got cursed. Radiant white light engulfed Lishi Ye and he turned into something that resembled a snake. 

But, He Jingyi, failed to bring that little snake to demonic realm since he had already passed out by the time his foster father came to rescue him. Subordinates of his foster father didn't know that little snake was Lishi Ye and just left him in the imperial city. 

After his recovery, He Jingyi made his subordinates went to imperial city in search of Lishi Ye. But none of them managed to find the young demon. He Jingyi couldn't go to human realm and find that little snake by himself either because his father didn't allow him to leave the realm of demons for the entire year after his fight with Xu Daiyu. 

A year had passed. And He Jingyi almost forgot about that little snake. Only by now, he managed to recall everything. Lishi Ye was just like father. He was so loyal to both of He Tengfei and He Jingyi back then. 

But now, what had happened to Lishi Ye not to even recognize his lord's daughter? Though He Jingyi was now in his male form, there's no way Lishi Ye couldn't recognize him.

He Jingyi was really sure that, this little demonic beast of Yang Zhiqiang was the cursed Lishi Ye.....so why was he acting so aggressive towards him and Ming Zixin like a real snake whose owner had been harmed by them? 

It was almost like a year since Lishi Ye had been cursed by Xu Daiyu and turned into a snake.. Don't tell him that the curse turned Lishi Ye into a real snake, making him forget all the memories. It shouldn't be that Lishi Ye couldn't recognize him anymore because of such a reason?
