Ways to handle this little demon

"Ah…no wonder I feel familiar…wait! If he was that inquisitive elder, then...what if….what if he finds out your identity? Why don't you tell me earlier about it? You really like to get yourself into troubles, don't you, Your Highness?"

Shrugging his shoulders, Ming Zixin simply responded his princess with a calm yet irresistible smile. What an idiotic crown prince…..instead of getting charmed by this prince's smile, it's the only thing that came to his mind. Shaking his head, He Jingyi pursed his lips again as he glanced down at his own half-eaten sweet potato in the hand. No body knew what He Jingyi was thinking at the moment. Mistaking it for his princess being concerned about him, Ming Zixin laughed out loud before trying to reassure his princess.

" Don't worry. This prince won't get exposed. Do you think with this ugly face I'm right now, that foolish elder still would be able to relate it to my original dazzling appearance?"

Pointing at his own face, Ming Zixin asked which prompted his Jingyi to lift her head and inspect him through and through. The crown prince's disguise art was indeed exceptional. Though his appearance right now couldn't be said to be that ugly like Ming Zixin had mentioned, at least, one couldn't deny it looked extremely average compared to his real appearance.

The two were facing each other, one inspecting another's face seriously whilst the other was happily being watched. And this was when master Wu glanced into their direction casually and realized the presence of two strangers at a not-so-far distance. It was simply a momentary glimpse at first. But then, when the master realized he had never seen those faces in the village, he took another glimpse at the duo again.

It occurred to him that maybe, these two were just some visitors to their emerald jade mountain. After all, it's not something rare to see such kinds of visitors here. Even so…..just to make sure….With that thought, master Wu gestured his disciples to pause their discussion right here for a while before walking over to the seemingly suspicious visitors.

He Jingyi who was finally done with his inspection was about to give the answer finally when he caught a glimpse of master Wu coming into their direction from the corner of his eyes. With a tone that was barely a whisper, He Jingyi seriously said.

" Your Highness…..he's coming."

Ming Zixin seemed to be a bit surprised and was about to turn his head and confirmed when his Jingyi stretched out his hand to grab the cheeks of the prince, successfully stopping him from looking into the other's direction.

" What are you planning to do, Your Highness? Looking at that inquisitive old man so that he will be more suspicious of us. It's right. Your disguise art is exceptional. But what if he notices you from your similar manners or ways of talking? Let's do it like this. I have a good idea."

The amused prince raised one of his brows in interest. He was wondering what this princess was going to do when the elder was coming to them in the next second. And it was when the whole unfinished chunk of sweet potato was stuffed into his mouth by a certain brilliant youth who would be no other than his very beloved princess.

" Eat it….eat it…"

He Jingyi was whispering those words to him very seriously as though this was going to work for real. Faced with those sweet words of his princess, Ming Zixin couldn't resist anymore before giving a nod with those puffed up cheeks of his. Seriously, his Jingyi was indeed a brilliant young lady. No one would ever be able to think of such an exceptional idea. By stuffing this thing into his mouth, Ming Zixin wouldn't need to speak to that elder anymore. Not to mention, with this hideously puffed up cheeks, even if he was in his original appearance, this elder would never be able to recognize him.

The only problem right now was Ming Zixin was forced to lose his cool in front of this demonic princess of his. To tell the truth, He Jingyi really didn't need to do this. After all, acting and telling lies were what he was good at the most. Without those skills, how could he even sneakily work together with this princess and her evil overlord father without attracting any suspicions from all imperial family members?

" Excuse me…..may I know where these gentlemen are from? This old man just realize he hasn't seen any of these two gentlemen around here before."

He Jingyi turned around as if he realized this elder standing next to them only by now. Staring at the old man's sect robe carefully, he exclaimed with mild surprise in the eyes.

" Ah….this elder must be a master from Jianyu Sect. It's really nice to meet you. We're visitors coming from a faraway little town. I'm Bolin from Li family. We came to take a visit here after hearing the reputation of beautiful sceneries around emerald jade mountain. "

Master Wu slowly nodded his head as he unnoticeably inspected the youth's character. The other person seemed to be an innocent youth with that pure smile hanging at the corner of his lips. He Jingyi had already turned his eye color from red to a brown hue, so master Wu really couldn't find anything wrong with this youth. And then, the elders fixed his detective eyes on another youth who would be no other than Ming Zixin. This youth was covering his mouth, seemingly chewing or devouring something smelled like a baked sweet potato with his funnily puffed up cheeks.

" Ah….this young man, are you okay? Why do you have to stuff the whole thing into your mouth like that? No one gonna rob it of you….hahaha…..oh…by the way, he is..."

Seeing the other wouldn't be able to answer him at the moment, master Wu turned to look at He Jingyi again, his half sentence " by the way, he is…." was directed towards He Jingyi. Letting out that innocent chuckle, He Jingyi patted the shoulder of Ming Zixin before replying to the elder.

" Righit! I almost forgot to introduce him to the elder. To tell the truth, this person is no other than my...

my daddy…..hahaha….We looks really identical, yes?"

Ming Zixin, the poor crown prince, almost vomited blood at this exceptional joke of his Jingyi. Master Wu laughed aloud before saying " This young man is really good at joke. It has this old man in stitches for real…hahaha…."

Seeing another party saying it was a joke, He Jingyi's smile wore off momentarily. But then, he made an effort to put on a serious façade before claiming it yet again.

" No….the elder…I'm not joking. He really is my daddy. It's just that my mom and dad married early and I was born when my parents were still so young…..He really is my daddy….."

Even as He Jingyi said this, master Wu kept laughing. The more the other party treated it like a joke, the more He Jingyi wanted to make him believe. He kept repeating the very same sentence " He really is my daddy." But seeing the elder wouldn't stop his laughter, the helpless He Jingyi had no choice but to turn to his so-called daddy and asked for a confirmation.

"Daddy…..isn't it right? "

A certain crown who just got the shock of his life in the process of trying to swallow down a big chunk , "....."
