We Are Destined - Let Me Pamper You

"Hmm…" without meeting her eyes he nodded. His face was red, 'God Mei, you are a deadly drug. If just a look of your face can do this to me, then what will happen when I got to kiss you?'

Concerned about him, she asked "Your face is red! Are you sure you are ok? If you want we can go to the hospital."

He denied, "No need to…. I'm fine, it must be because of low blood pressure" feeling guilty, he turned his face away from her watchful eyes.

"Oh! You dumb! Why don't you say it before?" She scolded him. "Here! Eat this, this must be because of hunger" bringing a piece of shrimp to his mouth she said.

Feng Jianyu was stunned by her reaction and has almost stepped on to the breaks. He looked at her incredulously, thinking if it's a dream or reality.

'Did she just personally offered me food? '

He looked at the food near his mouth and took a bite to confirm if it's reality or dream. An inadvertent smile crawled on his lips when he tasted the food and he deliberately slowed down the car speed to delay reaching home.

His heart was overwhelmed with emotion when she showed her concern for him. His intention was to share the meal with her, but he will get to feed by her personally, is completely out of his expectation.

But the very next moment he frowned when he noticed that Xiu Mei was using two pair of chopsticks, one for her and one for him.

Feng Jianyu "….."

'Really? Will you get infected, if you'll use the same chopsticks for both of us? Is my saliva that infectious?' He made a distasteful face towards her, but did not voice out his thoughts. Beggars are not choosers, at least she took the initiative to feed him, better savour this opportunity.

Today she made him taste his own medicine. He is very fussy when it comes to hygiene and never shares his meal with someone. But today the girl of his dreams declined to share her chopsticks with him.

Shrugging this thought off his shoulder, he decided to cherish the moment with her. Within no time the entire bento box was finished.

The awkward silence returned back …. After some time he noticed that Xiu Mei was drooping because of sleep.

"Mei, sleep for a while. I'll wake you up after reaching home…" he spoke gently so as not to startle her.

"Good…. " she yawned and tilted the seat backward to sleep comfortably.

Feng Jianyu heard her even breathing after a few minutes. He frowned, 'Is she this tired that it takes her only a few minutes to sleep deeply?'

Hitting the fist on the steering wheel he cursed gritting his teeth, 'Damn you, Mr. X! How dare you make her work so hard? Is she your employee or money making machine for you? No man has the right to treat my woman like this. I will not let that happen and make you pay for this…'

He stopped the car at the roadside for a moment, took off his coat to cover her and adjusted the temperature of the car to make it warmer.

By the time they reached Mountain villa, it was 12:15 a.m. and Xiu Mei was still sleeping soundly. Feng Jianyu extended his hand to wake her up but stopped, he did not have the heart to wake her up, especially when she is so tired.

Looking at her peaceful sleeping face, he decided to let her sleep the night off in the car. Leaving the car engine on, he gets off the car, walks into the villa to get a warm blanket for her.

As he stepped inside the villa, a familiar figure was dozing off on the couch. Looking at him Feng Jianyu held his head, 'Stupid man! If he wants to sleep then why not sleep in the room? Is this a place to sleep?'

After returning from his business trip in country M, Feng Junjie didn't inform anyone about his arrival and came straight to the mountain villa to surprise his brother. But to his dismay, only Butler Tom and Aunt Mary were available at the villa.

Upon inquiring about his brother and sister Mei Mei, he comes to know that they both have joined office from today. So he decided to wait for their return, and surprise them together. But while waiting for them in the living room, he dozed off.

"Junjie?.... JUNJIEEE...." Feng Jianyu sternly called. "Mmmmm…. Get lost!!" Feng Junjie murmured in sleep.

Feng Jianyu "….."

"Sleeping like a pig! Idiot! " Gritting his teeth Feng Jianyu picked the nearby water jug and poured it over his little brother.

"aa….b….psss....cough…. cough...cough…...Huhhh! What the f*....." Shocked by the sudden attack, he bolted up and stood over the sofa throwing a punch towards the culprit.
