We were meant to be together

"Sir.... " someone came into the room suddenly and whispered to Ethan. "What?! What did you just say?! Sh*t" Then, he rushed out.

Natalie followed him, "what happened, hun? " Ethan looked at her and shouted "F*ck off. " Natalie sat down at her place. "Take me to the office right now! " After Ethan walked out, the room was in silence.

"How could this happened?! " Mrs Wong was checking her phone for the latest news. Then, she saw a news titled " The Wong Corps Share Market Is Dropping. " Then, she called Ethan's dad. "Hello?" It's a woman's voice on the other side of the phone. "Can I talk to Mr Owen? " The woman on the phone laughed. "Well, it's the one and only Gloria Chin. What do you still want from Owen?"

Mrs Wong's hand turned into a fist. Actually, the woman on the phone supposed to be Owen's wife. But, at that time, The Chins and The Wongs were close friends,so they arranged a marriage for both of them. That time, Owen love the woman who's on the phone, Gina while Gloria loves Owen.

After they got married, they barely talk. They only act like a pair of loving couple in front of others during some events. At home, they even sleep in different rooms! But one day, Gloria did something that Owen will never forgive her. Not even in a million years.

She drugged him. And, she seduced him. That's the day she got pregnant with Ethan. When Owen got to know about it, he was pissed. Not because Gloria seduced him, but, he knew that Gloria will threaten him with their child everytime. And he was right.

Years later, he got back with Gina. And that's when Gloria's nightmare started.

"The Wong Corps are... " Without letting Mrs Wong finish her sentence, Gina hung up the phone. "I'm sorry, Ethan. Your mom is so useless that when your company has problems, she can't even help you solve the problem. I'm so sorry. "

Freya realized something was wrong. She hugged Mrs Wong and said, "it's ok, mom, everything's going to be ok. " Mrs Wong smiled at Freya. Then, she thought about it. Freya too is in a same situation as the Owen last time. She doesn't want to marry Ethan and Ethan doesn't want to marry her too. It was Mrs Wong that made it happened.
