We were meant to be together

"Let me send you home Emma….."

"Nah it's ok my driver is on his way…Go back and have some rest Derek… Say bye to Uncle Derek Little Dumplings."

"Bye Uncle Derek." Said Little Dumplings with a big smile,then he run to Derek and gave him a hug.

Although it's just a hug, but it feels very warm for Derek.

After getting into his Porsche Cayenne, he drive straight to the pub to have a drink.

"Dude,what happened to you?" said the bartender who is also Derek and the owner of the pub, named John.

" About that girl named Emma am I right?"

" Hah…."

"Jeez…"

After finish drinking, Derek drove away. Every single thing he sees on the way back home just reminds him about her.

Then he reminds himself, "she's married you idiot...…."

After he got back home, he sits in his bathtub with a glass of wine in his hand… just… thinking about her.

Then , someone opened the door downstairs. After putting on a rob, he went and check on who is it.

Turns out, it's Melissa Chong, kinda his fiancé.  Well, in the business world sometimes you gotta use marriage to make your company stronger. So, the Lims and the Chongs plan to let Melissa and Derek get married so that their company will be one of the top 5 companies in China.

" Hey Derek…"

" Hi, erm what are you doing here?"

"Nah just here to check on you. So…"

Derek cuts her off and say "It's none of your business you can go home now. The door is just behind you." Then, he went to his room.

Melissa on the other hand was shocked. She just don't understand why Derek can"t treat her like his own fiancé.

She went back to her car and sob by herself there. She just don't understand why it has to be a one sided love. She loved Derek for 3 years, treat him well and this is how he repay her.

Then, she picked up her phone and make a call….. " Hello, it's Melissa here. Help me investigate a lady called Emma Chia….."
