When did I get married

The atmosphere in the room was tense. Yi Meng had a calm face on, her expression neutral.

Kai had an annoyed expression whereas Yi Mei looked frustrated. "As I have said before, please leave. She hasn't recovered yet and is in no condition to interact with you." Kai says rubbing his nose.

One of the men, who was dressed in a black suit stepped up. "Mr Kai, I think you are well aware of what has happened. This matter involves Yi Lan's safety, so I think it is better for you to agree. We just want to talk to her."

"You don't understand. She has lost her memories and is suffering from SPD. In no way does she remember you all. Isn't it better to end this matter here once and for all! Stop involving here in your jobs." Yi Mei's face was red with anger.

Kai pats her shoulder, signalling her to calm down.

The man only replies with an impassive face "That is none of your buisness. Do not forget, it was us who brought her to you."

"It is our buisness. She's a part of our family, she's my sister." yells Yi Mei angrily.

Kai tightens his hold on Yi Mei's shoulder.

"That is only in name. We both know the truth." says the man.

"Oh~ and what might that be, may I ask?" a calm voice is heard.

Both the parties turn to see Yi Meng standing there with a cold look on her face. Her violet eyes had a dull look in them.

"Yi Lan. You're summoned back to headquarters." The man says.

"Sorry to say this but I'm not Yi Lan. I'm Yi Meng, age seventeen, born of Yi Clan, and an orphan. And I currently do not plan on going anywhere. You can go back to headquarters or wherever and tell them that Yi Lan has died. In her place is Yi Meng." Her voice rung through the room like a wave.

The man's eyes widened slightly." It seems you really have lost your memories. But your resistance is futile. These are orders from Chief and regardless of whether you have your memories or not, you have to follow them."

"And what will you do if she doesn't?" asks Kai sharply.

"Obviously use force. Hopefully, it won't come till that point or you would know what could happen. At the least, she'll escape with a few more broken bones and at the most," He pauses, "With death."

Yi Mei releases a breath that she had been holding.

"And you, Yi Lan. If you don't want your family hurt, you better follow us."

"Yi La- Yi Meng, don't listen to them. We'll be fine. You can rest. We'll take care of this." Kai reassures Yi Meng.

The latter ignores him. With a contemplating look, she asks the man "If I follow you, will you leave them alone?"

"Without a doubt."

"Then let's go." Yi Meng turns her back to them.

"Yi Meng, what are you-?" Yi Mei's words are cut off by Yi Meng.

"Sister Mei and Brother Kai, do not worry. I'll be back soon." And with that, she leaves the room.

Kai and Yi Mei rush behind her but are stopped by some men in the front. "You aren't allowed to move until their talk is finished." One of them says.

Kai's face grows dark in anger. "Dammit." He curses.

Yi Mei sits down with a pale face, biting her lip.

"Yi Mei, don't worry. If they lay even a finger on her, I'll make sure they'll regret it, even if it means giving up my life." says Kai.

Yi Mei only nods silently.

Yi Meng was currently in a big metal box. She asks one of them"What is this contraption?"

The person's eye twitches "Contraption? Who even says that?! This is a car. It's a vehicle used for transport."

Yi Mei's eyes grow wide in curiosity. 'So in this world, they don't need horses. They are quite advanced.'

She proceeds to ask about the A.C,the steering wheel and the music player till the men get sick of it.

'There's a lot that I don't know about in this world.' Yi Meng thinks.

Soon, they reach the headquarters. It was a huge building with glass like windows and huge doors.

But that was only a pretend building. The real headquarters was underground. It was large, spacious and had many weapons of different kinds.

Yi Meng was fascinated by these weapons and wanted to check them out, but was dragged by the men to an office.

The office was basically a room filled with computers and projectors. In the middle, stood a man with slightly gray hair and sturdy built.

Yi Meng immediately felt as if she was familiar with this man. 'My guesses were correct, these people don't want to harm me.'

"You're back? Took you quite a while, huh, Yi Lan. Or should I call you-Yi Meng?" The man speaks in a gruff voice.

"I'm fine with Yi Meng. Now please tell me, what have I been called here for. I'm not familiar with the equipments here, so it is better if you do not ask for any help."

"I have no need of your help. What I have called you here for, is to make you know your position."

"Position in this group?"

"Yes. Though I must say, I'm surprised you followed them and came here."

"I guessed that you didn't mean any harm. Had the men first tried to find me and then negotiate, I would have understood that they had bad intentions. But, they first tried to negotiate with my siblings and then find me, which meant that they had no intention of harming me or them. In other words, they were only giving empty threats." Yi Meng states.

" Looks like your nature has changed a lot after the accident. For the first time, you're actually using your brain instead of fighting it out." says the man with a hint of a smile on his face.

His face had a scar that ran from his cheek to his collar bone. His eyes were a startling gold and his hair pure black.

"Take a seat. It seems I'll have to tell you about your life."

An uncomfortable feeling made Yi Meng's heart clench. "If you could, please send out the men here. I feel as if I wouldn't want them to hear it."

"Oh? Fine. Men, you're dismissed."

"Yes Chief."

Yi Meng took a seat on a fluffy couch.

"My name is Ronald, but I'm better known as Chief. I'm the head of this branch of the organisation."

"What organisation is this?"

"The organisation for the Black List Victims aka BLVO."

"BLVO?"

"Yes, the Black List Victims Organisation, specialised in training the people who were victims of the Black List."

"And what exactly is this Black List?"Somehow, Yi Meng felt a chill run through her body on hearing the name.

"Black List was a mission. A mission carried out by a certain group of people called The Black Assasins or in short B.A."

"What did they do?"

"Played with lives as if they were mere toys. In the year of 2011, month of June,they killed three million people." Chief's tone had turned grave.

Yi Meng sucked in a breath in shock. "Three million??!"
