When Love Happens!

The entire hall went completely silent, while Jacob glared at the man carefully. Charles Hilton was silent for a moment, when he again picked up his microphone.

"Well, Ok! That is my company. But, today we are here to talk about your company. Why do we trust your company any longer after all it was your dad who we trusted. Isn't it?" Charles smiled wickedly at Jacob. He was constantly touching his weak points, so as to make him, break his own confidence

"So you say you do not trust my company any longer? I see! Well my dad's official statement of him retiring from his position as a CEO, was on 23rd December, last year. While, he had given me his position there an then, publicaly. Right after a few months of that date he died." Jacob took a pause, trying to sooth down his nerves. "This man here knew everything, and on 17th January, he asked my dad for a loan of 200 million dollars!! Then may I ask, after he had officialy declared his retirement, why did you trust the Miller company to take such a big loan?"

"What??"

*Gasp*

The crowd gasped in surprise, looking at the two men.

"He asked for a 200 million dollar loan??!!"

Charles who was standing amongst the crowd was now sweating prfousely. He was sweating so much that he had to hold the grip of the microphone, really tightly! He gave an awkward smile, and spoke. "Mr. Miller! What is this? You say any damn thing, and expect us to believe you?"

Jacob gave out a big sigh, as if feeling helpless. "Well, I really did not want to do this, but I guess you leave me with no option!"
