When She Finds Love

Ryan glared at Rachel. Inside he is fuming with anger. "Lovers?? In what sense they can be considered as one? She doesn't even give me a chance to explain myself." Before Rachel's return, Ryan was trying hard to dispel his fury. But when he heard Rachel's tease, it flared up again.

The temperature in the room started to decrease. Amy peeked at Ryan, but seeing him remain silent she felt bad. Nevertheless, she said: "I accept to stay here."

As soon as these words left her mouth, she felt a chill swept through her body. She turned to look at Ryan but he doesn't even glance at her direction.

Understanding the situation, Rachel doesn't try to drag the conversation. "Then, it's good. You can come here tomorrow."

With that everyone stood up and started walking towards the door. After biding farewell, Amy started moving towards the car, but felt that something is missing. She turned and saw that instead of following her, Ryan is having a chat with Rachel.

As soon as they walked out of the door, Ryan let Amy go first. Then staring at Rachel he said: "If it's not for Amy, I would've never allowed her to stay with you."

Irritated, Rachel smacked him on the head. "Where is your respect?..and you know that I'm doing this for her own good. She has to learn how to survive."

"You don't have to worry. I'll protect her."

Rachel again smacked him. "You think you can protect her all the time? As your wife, she should stand beside you not behind."

Ryan is still not convinced but yet answered in a low voice. "I know"

Rachel sofetned upon seeing his dejected face. "Don't worry. You can come and visit her during weekends. I'll cut her some slack, so that you both can spend some quality time together." She honestly doesn't want to separate the newly married couple.

Ryan's face brightened upon hearing this. With a smile he said: "Mmm...ok then I'll see you tomorrow."

Amy has been waiting inside the car patiently, during Ryan and Rachel's conversation. When she saw him walking towards the car, she eagerly analysed his face. Though his mood seem to have become better, she doesn't dare to speak with him.

Because of this, their return journey is filled with silence. At home, as usual Ryan prepared dinner, but still he doesn't speak with her. In truth, at present he is not angry because of her decision. But he really hates the fact that she decided everything by herself. She doesn't even ask about his opinion. To her, he is like a stranger. This thought makes him mad. That's why he had remained quiet.

Amy is trying to figure out what's wrong with him. Because of her family situation, she is used to take decisions by herself. So she doesn't feel anything off with her action. She tried to initiate a conversation by saying good night but Ryan simply nodded but doesn't reply.

Back in her room, Amy is tossing and turning in the bed. She is greatly affected by Ryan's cold attitude. She is not able to fall asleep, so the next day when she came down in the morning, she had some dark circles around her eyes.
