Chapter 59 – Screw Heat Fever

As a matter of fact, the charming Mrs. Tang is not only accomplished in spending money but is also very talented when it comes to aesthetics.

When the two suits were sent backstage, the smell of money made them stand out in the stylish chemical fiber clothing of several studios.

Jian Songyi looked over at the two suits his mother was holding. “Mom, don’t you think it is too grand?” He asked hesitantly.

“No.” Mrs. Tang answered without a doubt, but Jian Songyi was still reluctant.

Bai Huai came forward and took the suit: “I think it’s good.”

He then proceeded to return to Jian Songyi’s side. Bai Huai leaned against him to whisper, “Since everyone is mentioning how high-profile we are, then why don’t we show them how a high-profile really works just this once? What do you think?”

Jian Songyi thinks Bai Huai has a point.

Seeing that they suddenly both agreed, Mrs. Tang moved her gaze between them: “Then go and change your clothes already. Give your schoolbag to your mother, and your mother will take care of it. Remember to look more often in the middle of the second row; Mom will be sitting there and videotaping both of you.”

She shook the little DVD camera in her hand before leaving happily.

Yang Yue could not help but envy: “Brother Song, your mother is so cute.”

“Oh.”

His grandparents spoiled Mrs. Tang and then changed his father’s destiny when she was 20. She has never experienced hardship all her life, so she is not cute.

“But your mother is very retro, isn’t that DVD camera model from ten years ago?”

“Hmmm?” Jian Songyi did not even notice. Is she really that fond of vintage to use something from 10 years ago?

As he was wondering, Bai Huai tugged him by the shoulder: “Let’s go. Don’t worry about it. We will be too late in changing our clothes.”

“Ow.”

But there happened to be a lot of people in the dressing room, so they decided to change to the piano room upstairs instead.

After taking a few steps, Jian Songyi suddenly turned his head to Yang Yue and said, “By the way, the two chasing lights my mother bought came from an epic musical production. They should not be looked down upon. With that being stated, be careful in operating them. Don’t be too reckless with it.”

Yang Yue: “Yes, I understand.”

Bai Huai said with a smile, “Why are you so stingy?”

Jian Songyi snorted loosely but said nothing.

He’s not stingy; he’s just protecting his weaknesses.

Others can’t say a word about the person he likes.

The piano room is narrow and opaque and a natural secret room where the curtains are drawn.

It is most suitable for young people to undress.

The suit Mrs. Tang prepared for Jian Songyi is a white three-piece tuxedo with a pleated collar and a black velvet bow tie.

Everything else is easy to wear, except that bow tie. It is not just a simple bow. It is a long velvet tie that Jian Songyi has to tie for himself.

And obviously, Jian Songyi does not know how to do it.

In fact, he almost got himself killed after going on figuring out how to do it for a long time now.

As he was doing so, there were two knocks on the door.

“Do you need help?”

Jian Songyi opened the door as he bowed his head and fiddled with his bow tie. “I can’t do it.” He murmured.

“It’s alright. I will do it for you.”

After that faint statement, Jian Songyi handed over the tie to let Bai Huai fix it for him. And then the black velvet belt under his fingers suddenly became obedient.

Jian Songyi’s eyes moved up along Bai Huai’s exaggerated cuffs.

And as if realizing it now, Bai Huai really does look good in black.

The gorgeous retro medieval black dress set off his cold white skin and pale eyes, like the 14th-century European continent, walking under the dark night. He looks like a luxurious but indifferent aristocrat.

On the bridge of his nose stood a pair of fine gold glasses and a thin chain, which made his facial features unbelievably delicate.

Even the grape stone hand string around his wrist also seems to have an inside story.

While Bai Huai helped him tie his bow tie, he said faintly, “What kind of look is that?”

“Ah? Ohh. It’s nothing. “

Jian Songyi said that it was nothing when in truth is that he is staring over at Bai Huai’s neck, which was tightly fastened by a retro neckline. He wonders what would happen if he takes another bite.

He heard that if you drink vampire blood and get a vampire to bite you, you end up becoming a vampire.

As Jian Songyi thinks about this, he cannot help but unconsciously lick his lips.

And as if on cue, his eyes returned to Bai Huai again.

Bai Huai chuckles: “Don’t tell me you want to retake a bite?”

Jian Songyi was suddenly pierced through mentally. He hurriedly avoided Bai Huai’s line of sight and then raised his voice guiltily: “who would even want to bite you? Go away.”

With that, he gave Bai Huai a hard push.

Bai Huai grabbed his dishonest hand and coaxed him in a low voice: “Good boy, it’s not ready yet, don’t make any noise.”

“I don’t want you to do it; you go away.”

“Do you want to go on stage in disheveled clothes?”

“I don’t…”

As soon as Bai Huai fastened the bow tie, the two boys got into a fight. They pushed and shoved each other without noticing the soft sound of something falling to the ground.

It was Yang Yue who ran up breathlessly to urge them to go down already. So Jian Songyi has no choice but obediently let Bai Huai tie his bow tie.

After fastening it, Bai Huai reached out and straightened his hair. He looked at him up and down before whispering, “Are you nervous?”

Jian Songyi is someone who has been in a big scene before: “Of course not.”

“But I’m nervous. What should I do?”

“?”

“You look so beautiful in that suit. I think I will be distracted.”

“…..” Jian Songyi blushed furiously. “Shut up!”

Yang Yue: ‘Hmmm? Why does it feel a little weird?’ He thought to himself.

But there was no time to talk about it. He can only urge Bai Huai and Jian Songyi to wait backstage.

In fact, one of the most unanticipated programs of the festival is the performance of musical instruments, which is almost as unforeseen as the recitation of collective poems.

Because it’s too boring.

But this time, because the performers were Jian Songyi and Bai Huai, everyone reluctantly looked forward to it.

But their performance is still scheduled for the later part of the show. So when 9’o clock hits the clock, the audience seemed to be less interested than before, especially after the first few poems recital. It was all enough to make the people feel drowsy.

Because it is a Friday night, as soon as the festival concludes the end of the performances, everyone could go straight home afterward. But some could not wait for the closure that they opted to sneak away.

The concert hall is a little lifeless.
