Chapter 62 – A Runaway Wife

Jian Songyi woke up with a headache both due to his hangover and what they did last night that caused him so much pleasure.

Does he have a hangover?

Did he indulge in his lust?

Jian Songyi doesn’t seem to remember much.

Jian Songyi rubbed his already knitted eyebrows as he tried to turn himself over impatiently.

But he didn’t manage to shift over the bed.

He was trapped.

In a dazed, he looked down and then glanced at the hand on his shoulder.

Hands.

Hands? Hands!

He held his breath and looked down.

Pajamas. The pajamas… He changed.

The sheets have been changed as well.

Bai Huai’s clothes have also been changed.

The paper towels from the trash can buried him and his tens of thousands of children and grandchildren.

He remembers everything.

But it doesn’t matter. It wasn’t ‘him’ last night.

It was a soulless body from the Piano room that possessed him. So technically, this is none of his business.

Yeah, yeah… That’s it, so he better calm down.

Well, yes…  But shit, there’s no way he would fucking be able to see anyone after this!

Jian Songyi curled himself into a shrimp, covering his face with the palm of his hands. He hoped that he pressed his palms hard enough to his face that no one else would be able to see it ever again.

The more he thought about it, the more ashamed he became, and the more he thought about dying there at that place as soon as possible. A bold and active picture of what happened last night kept appearing in his mind enough to make his face so hot that he could probably be able to steam eggs.

How could he? How could he be so rough?

The bottom line here is that Jian Songyi forgot all about it because he was drunk. Meanwhile, Bai Huai is sober. How can he agree to his request to help each other out?

But what can Jian Songyi say to be able to ask this to Bai Huai?

He couldn’t do it.

He asked for help on this personal problem of his. In order to get in some help, he even had to use the card of calling in Brother Huai.

He is the one who is shameless for playing it like a fool. Who has the right to say that Bai Huai was the fool?

The most important thing is that before such a shameless thing happened, Jian Songyi repeatedly proclaimed that he didn’t like Bai Huai, that he had no desire, and that he was a cold, scum man who refused to admit it. And on a blink of an eye, he turned into a grinding leprechaun as soon as he closed the door. Bai Huai coaxed everything out of him.

When Bai Huai started waking up, he felt more ashamed of himself.

Jian Songyi secretly opened one of his fingers apart to be able to glance at Bai Huai before quickly drawing back his eyes into hiding as he closed his hands together.

‘Do not dare look. Do not dare look at him, Jian Songyi’ He thought to himself.

Now, he is already dying of shame and indignation. Still, when Bai Huai decided to be wrong and started to tease him like always, Jian Songyi estimated that he would want to hang himself immediately just to get it over with.

There’s no way to live this day.

Jian Songyi, who was now sober, was aware of the two consequences of just sitting around and waiting for his death: one is that Bai Huai would eat him alive, second is the fact that he would simply die at that very place due to shame.

So he had to choose the third way.

He has to run.

Jian Songyi has to dash before Bai Huai wakes up.

He will be alright if he runs away, goes to Beicheng and sits through the training camp. Not to mention the fact that his phone would be confiscated there that would make him prevent Bai Huai from finding him successfully.

He can hide from him.

When Jian Songyi thought of this, he immediately got out of Bai Huai’s arms, got out of bed, and put on casual clothes as soon as possible. Finally, he picked up his cellphone and then crept out.

He opened the door slowly, got out slowly, and then closed the door slowly.

Bai Huai didn’t wake up.

Perfection.

Last night, he had a good night and went to sleep, but Bai Huai had to deal with the end situation and coax him again for fear that he was uncomfortable. Bai Huai had to wait for Jian Songyi to fall asleep thoroughly and not be able to rest until dawn. This was the only time he could sleep soundly, and Jian Songyi was meant to be by his side. Not to mention that he rarely slept soundly, so he didn’t wake up even after all the fuss Jian Songyi made.

Jian Songyi lets out a sigh of relief.

Although, behind him came a faint voice of Mrs. Tang: “Why are you acting like a sly thief in your own house?”

“……”

Jian Songyi turned around with his heart beating wildly. “Last night at the party, Bai Huai drank too much. I let him sleep here, but I do not want to wake him up just yet.”

Mrs. Tang uttered a long, suspiciously “Ohhh—” before slurping his drink twice and going downstairs with a look on her face.

It was written all over her face: ‘Oh, I know you did something last night, but I won’t expose you.’

Jian Songyi wanted to explain, but he felt unable to do so enough to make him feel guilty again. He just wanted to flee the crime scene quickly. While washing randomly, he asked, “Mom, where is my bag?”

“On the sofa.”

“Well then, I’ll be going first.” Jian Songyi checked the contents of his bag first before swinging it over his shoulders.

Mrs. Tang raised her eyebrow and said, “Didn’t you buy the ticket for the evening plane? Why are you going out so early?”

If he doesn’t go out early and the animal upstairs wakes up, your son will die before even being able to attend the training in Beicheng.

Mrs. Tang could not help but wonder: “What on earth did you do to Bai Huai that you want to run away so much?”

Jian Songyi was suddenly exposed. His cheeks quickly flushed just like that he immediately changed his shoes and dashed to slam the door before he could even tie his shoelaces. He threw down the words: “Mom, I’ll go first.” And ran without a trace.

What does it mean to run away? When he is running away from everything now.

Mrs. Tang has seen too much of Jian Songyi’s arrogance and seldom seen him panic just like that that she thinks her son looks a little cute just now.

It’s just that Jian Songyi is too thin-skinned for his own comfort.

She could not help but laugh at the thought of it.

While the futile person jumped into the taxi as soon as possible to not jeopardize his great escape. Jian Songyi quickly urged the driver to start the vehicle right away. He then checked the earliest flight, booked it, boarded the plane, and then turned off his phone.

After finally getting on the flight to Beicheng, Jian Songyi was so sure that Bai Huai would not be able to catch up to him, so he could now finally let out a sigh of relief.

He felt that his approach was very unkind, very much like a scum man, but he had no choice but to run.

He has to run.

He has no choice but to run.
