Chapter 301 God Lllness.

They got seated. Adam opened the first page of the newspaper and enjoyed a cup of smoking hot coffee.

The newspaper was made by the Herald of Gods, Hermes. He traversed through every Realm and wrote every important thing down.

The result was God’s Newspaper.

Simo grabbed a scrap of paper from his front pocket. He began to read, his eyes skimming through the text.

Isaac’s body was stiff as he kept glancing back and forth between two Mythical Figures. He felt like he didn’t belong in their company.

Soon later, Adam placed the cup down and closed the newspaper.

Simo slipped a scrap of paper back into his pocket.

“Simo, why have you come here?” Adam asked

“My Legacy Carrier was rather unlucky and was imprisoned.” Simo slanted his head toward Isaac.

Adam’s eyes shifted to Isaac, “I see… I don’t think we have introduced ourselves.”

He extended his hand and said, “My name is Adam.”

“Isaac,” Isaac replied and shook his hand. He responded with his real name and not with his ingame name.

“Hmm?” Adam pulled his hand back and glanced at his hand, ‘His… Grip was quite weak, but there was something else too.’

Simo glanced at the white-haired youth and said, “Adam is rather similar to you.”

“Eh?” Isaac’s brows jumped.

“Ah…” Adam was also surprised at Simo’s comment, “Similar?”

Simo nodded and continued, “Isaac also has difficulties increasing his strength.”

“I see…” Adam nodded, “Quite fascinating. I have met people who have problems with their strength, but no one similar to me.”

“Wait… You also have problems becoming strong?” Isaac was shocked. Because of the Mythical title, he considered Adam as one of the strongest beings alive.

“Yea.” Adam nodded, “However, that was rather early in my life.”

“Oh?” Isaac wanted to hear more.

Simo leaned on the backrest and shifted his body to a more comfortable position.

Adam engraved on the table and drew a tree, “Once the world was on infant state, and only animals roamed the world. Primordial Gods and Goddesses told one, very specific God, to create life.”

He drew several apples on the tree and continued, “That God was residing somewhere… Out of reach. Only Primordial Gods and Goddesses could contact him.”

“The World where God resided was rather strange. For some reason, the world was separated into four seasons. It was similar to World of White, but that world didn’t have different Realms, instead Continents.”

“Also, four Moons were hovering above the large sphere, overseeing the four different seasons. It felt like the world itself was created to be observed…”

“The Primordial Gods and Goddesses met with the God and had a discussion that lasted for several centuries… At the end of the talk, that world started changing.”

“The world had its first two-legged inhabitants…”

Adam stopped for a moment and drew two figures on the table. One of them was a beautiful man, and the other was an exquisite female.

“Adam and Eve were created.”

“They were made after the image of God and Primordial Goddess Gaia. Once the two first humans were created, God couldn’t intervene anymore. Creating one human was already an incredibly taxing task.”

“Only with the help of Primordials second human could be created.”

“Adam and Eve had one job. Populate the earth.”

Simo had heard the story before but was still listening to the story with great interest.

Isaac barely breathed, afraid that he would skip a single word.

Adam smiled and tugged up his sleeves, exposing his fragile arms, “However, God made one dire mistake.”

“He made them too strong and intelligent. He had to reverse it before the balance of the Universe was broken.”

“However, that reversal had unexpected consequences.”

“Adam became weak. He was unable to increase his strength, no matter what he did.”

“Eve became sick. She started having an illness that resulted in her death…” His face showed misery.

“Oh… She is dead?” Isaac’s face displayed his pity.

“No, she is probably making food,” Simo said and pointed at one of the windows, where a beautiful woman’s rear could be seen. She was humming innocently while moving around the kitchen, making delicious food.

Isaac’s face became emotionless.

Simo shrugged, “Adam likes to be dramatic.”

Adam wiped his teardrops and continued, “That illness had its own name too…”

Isaac leaned closer, anxious to hear what kind of illness could it be.

“Winter Illness,” Adam said. His face became apathetic as he recalled the dreadful symptoms.

Isaac’s eyes shook, ‘Winter… Illness?!’

“Also… Adam not being able to improve his strength also had its own name.”

Adam opened his mouth, the words slowly slipping through his teeth, “God Illness.”

“God Illness…” Isaac murmured.

“God Illness stopped him from growing stronger.” Adam finished the drawing with one last line. An apple tree with hundreds of people standing underneath was drawn on the table.

Clap! Clap!

Simo clapped and stood up, “Thanks for another interesting story session.”

“No problem.” Adam chuckled and turned to look at Isaac, “Remember. As long you don’t have God Illness, you will get stronger.”

“And… What if I do?” Isaac asked with his voice trembling.

“Haha.” Adam laughed, “No need to worry. So far, I am the only one who had God Illness. Apparently, it isn’t possible to manifest anymore.”

Isaac sighed in relief. He shook hands with Adam and left the garden with Simo.

While strolling in the streets, Isaac asked, “Who is stronger between you two?”

Simo expected such a question from the youth, and he already had his answer ready, “If it is Close-Quarters, Adam will trash me.”

“Wha—” Isaac was surprised at that comment, “Trash you, how is that possible?”

Simo’s mouth curved into a smile, “You underestimate him. He might have acted like he was weak, but he is strong enough to fight against Zeus and not necessarily lose.”

Isaac’s mouth opened in utter shock.

“However.” Simo raised his finger and said with confidence, “I can defeat Adam with the help of Winter!”

“With the help of winter…” Isaac murmured. He felt blessed to be in the presence of such powerful individuals and couldn’t even fathom becoming half as strong as them.

Simo patted his shoulder and said with certainty, “One day… You will reach our level.”
