Wizard: I can refine everything

Chapter 14 Black Tower Wizard Academy

"Finally solved."

Richard wiped the sweat from his forehead. This battle was the most dangerous moment since he crossed over. If it weren't for the fireball staff, ten of him would not be enough for this madman to kill.

After searching in the forest, Richard collected Saban's armlets and greatsword.

To Richard's surprise, this pair of armlets turned out to be magic props, and they were self-charging magic props. The greatsword was simply made of extraordinary materials, and it was not a magic prop itself.

Richard tried to refine the armlets with the miracle furnace, but the miracle furnace still had no reaction.

"What is the law of this refining technique? Baron Hessen's greatsword can be refined, and the synthetic beast core can also be refined, but why can't these magic props be refined."

Richard had no clue for a while, so he could only put the problem aside and began to study the role of the armlets.

Richard put the armband on his arms, and in an instant a cool energy flowed from his arms to his whole body, and the wounds on Richard's body began to stop bleeding under the effect of this energy, and recovered at a speed visible to the naked eye.

"No wonder that madman couldn't be killed by a secondary fireball spell, it turns out that he has such a treasure on him."

Richard admired it and suddenly felt some scratches inside the armband.

After taking it off, he found that there was an extra text on the inside of the armband.

"What is this?"

Richard read it and found that this text was about a way of breathing. This kind of thing Richard felt very familiar with, as if Baron Hesse would have something similar in the past.

"Forget it, let's leave first. There is plenty of time to figure it out after entering the academy."

Richard shook his head, put the armband back on his arms, and started to hurry again.

...

On the fourth day after the exam began, some powerful apprentices had begun to arrive at the gathering point.

Kevin Medici staggered out of the forest.

After four days of traveling and fighting, this noble young master who was neither a knight nor a formal wizard apprentice was exhausted.

Fighting, traveling, being on guard, escaping, and finally reaching the gathering point.

After doing all this, Kevin was completely sublimated. He felt that no difficulty in the world could defeat him.

"Griffith, we're here." Kevin turned around and shouted.

Behind him, a blond strong man with a big sword on his back was moving slowly forward. He was Kevin's teammate and the thigh that allowed him to survive the pursuit of the monster.

This man named Griffith killed the monster that was comparable to the devil by himself.

"Yeah."

Griffith nodded.

Griffith did not reveal his identity, but based on his temperament and powerful strength, Kevin guessed that he should be an ascetic monk in a monastery.

Walking into the gathering point, Kevin slumped on the ground and relaxed instantly.

The gathering point is a safe zone, and arriving here means he is safe.

"Kevin?"

Kevin looked over and saw a thin figure with a big sword on his back and a staff in his hand emerging from a group of apprentices.

"Richard!?"

Kevin was shocked to see who was coming. Compared to his embarrassment, Richard looked a little tattered, but he was full of energy. Compared to him, Richard didn't look like he had just gone through a life-and-death test.

"It seems that it's really you."

Richard walked to Kevin and pulled him up with a smile.

Kevin still owed him a magic stone.

"It seems that my decision was right and it was right to win you over. It's a pity that nothing worked." Kevin said to Richard with a wry smile.

The alliance he had worked so hard to build was turned into a joke by the wizard's words.

"Isn't it okay to be alive? Hurry up and go find the wizard to register. There is a teleportation array at the assembly point, which is activated once for 100 people. Considering your friend, there are almost 100 people at the assembly point."

As he said that, Richard squinted at the burly man behind Kevin.

The blond burly man has been staring at him since he appeared.

"Friend, why are you staring at me?"

Griffith bowed slightly to Richard: "It seems that Saban died in your hands."

"Do you know the owner of this sword?"

Richard looked up at the eyes of the sturdy man. The sturdy man was at least a knight, and judging from his aura, he also built a magic cycle and was a dual-cultivation warrior.

"Let me introduce you, this is Griffith, a genius knight from another continent."

Kevin saw this and inserted himself between the two. He keenly noticed that the atmosphere was a little wrong.

"I know him. In the Norton Empire, he always wanted to kill me." Griffith sighed, "He has a good talent, but it's a pity."

Seeing that he was not seeking revenge, Richard did not say more.

After Kevin and Griffith registered, the wizard issued a teleportation order.

"Prepare for teleportation, apprentices who are dizzy by the teleportation array should close their eyes.

Three, two, one, teleport!"

In an instant, the light at the assembly point flashed, and the chaotic color block exclusive to teleportation appeared in front of Richard again.

When his eyes returned to normal, he saw a scene that he would never forget.

"This is..." Richard muttered.

In front of him stood a towering tower that could only be described as magnificent. Its height was endless, as if it was connecting heaven and earth, reaching the abode of God. On this tower, countless reliefs were lifelike, as if there were souls sealed in them. At the corners of the tower, gargoyles stood in between, their fangs and claws were bared, their expressions were ferocious, and it seemed that they would come alive in the next second.

"This is the Central Black Tower. It was originally the Dean's wizard tower, and only wizards were allowed to enter. Later, when the academy was established, the Dean opened the first fifty floors as the academy's teaching area."

Richard looked at the source of the sound, and it was an owl that was magnified twice.

The owl spoke in human language, holding a large bag in its claws.

"Little guy, I am the supervisor of the academy and your guide. I am responsible for monitoring whether you usually abide by the school rules." After saying that, the owl threw the bag on the ground, and the big bag was filled with small bags.

"Now take the good things and follow me, I will take you to visit the academy."

...

The structure of the Black Tower Wizard Academy is very simple. In addition to the Central Black Tower where classes are usually held, there are only three areas: experimental area, living area, and commercial area.

The role of the experimental area is to provide wizards and wizard apprentices with some dangerous experiments. It is the largest area among the three areas. The commercial area is used to sell experimental materials, spellcasting materials, and magic props. In addition to the shops opened by wizards in the academy, the wizard guild outside the school and the wizard apprentices in the school also have shops.

The common currency in the commercial area is the academy coins issued by the academy, but magic stones are also accepted. The value of the academy coins is bound to magic stones, and one magic stone can be exchanged for 100 academy coins.

Finally, there is the living area, which is responsible for the daily food, clothing, housing and transportation of apprentices. Clothing stores, restaurants, and even carriages and horses can be found in the living area. Black towers are scattered in the living area, and every wizard apprentice can have his own room without paying rent.

Richard followed the owl for a day and finally went around the entire academy. At the last moment, Richard saw Ellie among the new apprentices.

"Hey! Richard! You really passed!"

Ellie looked a little embarrassed. A lot of her originally beautiful golden hair was burned by fire, and there was a burnt scar on her forehead. Most of the clothes on his body were torn, but Richard was not much better in this respect.

When walking in the forest, it is normal for branches and thorns to scratch clothes.

"Lucky, I arrived earlier than you."

Although it has only been a few days since we last met, it is always a pleasure to see familiar faces in this strange academy.

As the sky gradually darkened, dandelion-like plants emerged from the ground beside the academy road. The dandelions emitted bright but soft light, illuminating the road like street lamps.

"Noctilucent dandelions, the spoils of the dean's conquest of the plane. They are usually used as street lamps in the academy."

Richard walked on the road to introduce the academy to Ellie. Ellie's group of students arrived at dusk. Owl thought that these students needed to rest, so he left on his own after distributing things.

"So beautiful."

Ellie looked at the dandelions with surprise and confusion in her eyes. The scenery of the academy made her a little overwhelmed.

Is this really the academy that kills people in the entrance examination? It shouldn't be full of crosses, and the ground is full of debris. Students sit on coffins to attend classes, and teachers are as ferocious as devils.

"But remember not to touch it. If this thing is stimulated, it will use the seeds as weapons. The power of the seed explosion is no less than that of a low-level fireball spell."

Richard's words instantly shattered Ellie's fantasy.

Richard pointed to a tower not far away, "That's the living area. New apprentices have their own tower. Don't worry about not finding a room."

The college has a special new area as a buffer. When newcomers have been in the college for three years, they will move out of the new area and find a new place to live.

Richard walked towards the tower and suddenly felt that someone was pulling his clothes.

"Oh, then... then let's be neighbors in the future."

Ellie pulled Richard's clothes, and her hair fell to the side to cover her expression.

"Be neighbors?" Richard didn't pay much attention to Ellie's reaction. The girl's mind was like the clouds and rain in summer, unpredictable.

"That's fine. The college doesn't deliberately separate men and women."

"Really? That's great."

Ellie looked up suddenly, with a little surprise in her eyes.

"Let's go," Richard pointed to the tower not far away, "The advantage of arriving at school early is that no one is fighting for the room. It's so late now, let's find a room that suits our eyes and stay there first."
