Yazeno was still trapped in the guilt zone. Cailly had a tranquil life and was aiming to study abroad for her profession. Movu was still in the middle of a clash with his father.

Guide-sama: "Yanarym, Lawrence was assigned to another big case." 

"Good, thanks Guide-sama." 

Guide-sama: "How do you plan on using the guilt trap on Lawrence, Yanarym?" 

"Law is very similar to Kane when it comes to their dedication to their chosen path. And currently, Lawrence already likes me but he's not in love." 

Guide-sama: "But you will leave him once Movu came back, right? Why do you have to make him surrender?" 

"Do you know what can oppress love?" 

Guide-sama: "What?" 

"It's pride, although they often say that hatred is the opposite of love --- it only ignites their will to be devoted to the subject of their emotion." She rolled on the bed and looked at the garden that was right outside her window. "However, if we mix pride, ego into the variable drawn to the other person, they will be berserk and extremely selfish." 

Guide-sama: "I can't follow, just get to the point." 

"Lawrence is a prideful person. If Movu comes back and we're still together, I doubt he will let me go just like that." 

Guide-sama: "He will not let you go also if he's in love with you." 

"Wrong, Guide-sama why do you think we keep him on a tab with my true intentions on him? I gave him the chance and just gave him the chance. He knows I'm not into him, he is aware of that." 

Guide-sama: "Why?" 

"Because that will give him the hint that I did my best to fall for him and when Movu came back he will know that I can't be with him because I'm really in love with someone else. And I will keep on reminding him that." 

Guide-sama: "Then, why does he have to be in love with you? Are you a sadist Yanarym?" 

"He can only let me go if he's in love. To do that, we have to be really careful, we have to make sure he's in love in the right way." 

Guide-sama: "Is there a wrong way, though?" 

"Of course, that is when he loves himself more than he loves me. He will not let me go because he prefers me to his side, suffering rather than being with someone else and happy. What I want to do is, he will be willing to let me go if the time comes. And that my friend, is total surrender." 

Guide-sama: "What if you did all this and he still won't let you go?"

"Then, that means we did something wrong." 

The day went fast forward and everyone had their fun exploring the resort, when the night fell, Yanarym invited everyone to have a drink and party at the bar. She was with Lawrence at one of the tables and drinking, they have this gloomy atmosphere together. 

"I will be with my friends," Yanarym said as soon as Yashnile came to the table. He looked at her and had a nod then shifted his attention to Lawrence. 

"Did you fight?" He asked and Lawrence fainted with a smile.

"Not really, but I have to leave tonight and she's… "

"Is there an emergency?"

"There is an important case at work and I have to be there, she said it's okay but it's not." 

"She's just sulking, she's kind of clingy, but she understands. Go on and spend the rest of the night with her, make amends." Yashnile smiled at him and Lawrence thanked him before leaving. 

"What's that? Are you fine with Rym's boyfriend now?" Maddi asked.

"Yeah, I guess." Yashnile drank his liquor and watched the two talk to one another. Although he decided not to antagonize Yanarym's boyfriend, there was still bitterness deep within him just staring at the two. He drank three consecutive shots of pure alcohol. 

Yazeno on the side was having alone time, Cailly saw him being alone and sat beside him. "You should have brought your friends." 

"I'm fine." 

"Clearly, you're not. You've been grumpy, you don't talk to us anymore." 

"I'm fine, Ate Cailly, have fun with your friends. I want to be alone." 

"Okay, if you're going through something just know that we're here." She patted his shoulder and left him on the counter. 

Yanarym was left with Lawrence on the dance floor but they chose to head out of the bar. "I promise when you get back to Manila, we will have a date." 

"It's fine, don't think about it."

"I know it's not. Come on, I don't want to leave you here too." She sighed. 

"I understand, really, I just want to spend more time with you. But you always must save those who are in need." She pouted and embraced him. With her small physique, Lawrence envelops her body and hugs her tightly. 

"You can't be this cute or else I can't leave you." He kissed the top of her head and took a deep breath. At times like this, he wanted to stay at her side. He didn't realize that she became more and more part of his priority. Before he never had a second thought of leaving her behind but now, it's getting harder and harder to choose. To the point where the thing he wanted the most when she was not still part of his life turned into the least, he wanted now. 

"Excuse me, can I talk with my sister?" Cailly faked a cough. 

"What's wrong?" She asked Cailly and left Lawrence's arms. 

"It's about Zen, do you think he's undergoing a phase?" Cailly didn't beat around the bush and told Yanarym her worries. "It seems to me that he's depressed." 

"I didn't notice, I was busy at school." 

"Well, can you talk to him? He only listens to you." Cailly asked, concerned, and Yanarym nodded.

"Right now?" Yanarym uttered in a low tone.. Cailly looked at Lawrence and back to Yanarym.
