"I have to escort you back to the hut as soon as possible, Bai. Your uripon might be looking for you." 

Yanarym sagged to the ground upon hearing what he had said. If only she didn't know anything about the plot, she would have thought he was concerned about her. And that he would have sent her straight to the bed of her killer!

Yanarym pressed her temples. She was stressed from her set-up in the story today. Though the only thing that could uplift her mood was Maki's Adonis-looking face. Too bad, he was supposed to be the original's enemy and her supposed to be the murderer's accomplice.

The original has a half-sister named Tala. They were born from the same father, a Datu of a banwa, Datu Pita. His position is similar to a barangay captain or even a mayor since the common population of the people in a community at that time was way smaller than the current population in the current world. Tala's mother was an uripon to the original's mother, who was the wife of Datu.

As a child of an uripon or a slave, Tala's life wasn't easy, given that she was only born out of her mother's deception. The latter besotted the Datu with alcohol and had sex with him, hence, conceiving Tala in secrecy. She was raised by her mother alone and it took a long time for Tala to be introduced to her father.

Meanwhile, the Datu family was living a harmonious life. He loves his wife and her daughter Yanar, who was the original, whose body is being used by Yanarym. Yanar was supposed to be one of the minor villains of the story as she would always bully Tala, who was the female lead, blaming her for ruining her once harmonious family.

Tala planned to make the original drunk and had set an accomplice to escort the original to Datu Achis' bed-chamber. Achis was the youngest Datu recorded and he doesn't trust people, particularly women. He's already at the right age for marriage yet he has never let any woman enter his balay, or what modern people would call a house. This was because he believed that the only purpose of women was to bear children for men.

Achis also believed that he is still too young to be bothered in conceiving an heir, plus all that he could only think about was how he would conquer other banwas to expand his territory and government and whoever hindered him from accomplishing his plans he would execute mercilessly.

Based on the original plot, Achis would eventually wake up beside his allied Datu's daughter, Yanar. Considering that she was from the family he had allied with, Achis measured the disadvantages and advantages he would gain from sleeping with the unmarried Bai.

Nevertheless, everything would fall back to normal once they had settled in getting married to each other. Though getting hitched too early wasn't completely part of Achis' plans, especially when it is arranged. In the end, he killed the original and threw her corpse to the cliff, letting her submerged in the ocean. 

Following the loss of his beloved daughter, the Datu went mad. He had gradually lost his sanity as he continued looking for his daughter Yanar and still couldn't find her. The original has become his only source of happiness ever since his wife had died from Tala's poisoning, yet she too was gone.

Maki, on the other hand, was a childhood friend of Tala. They were inseparable until he had to leave with his Baba. They left to live under Datu Pita's ruling, in which his Baba died in one of the battles; he became an orphan. Tala had finally met her father, Datu Pita, thus making her meet Maki. They were together when Tala had bad experiences from Yanar's maltreatment and so he told her that he would help her get her revenge and achieve the highest title in their land--to become the Hara.

Presently, Maki is on his way to do the deed for Tala's enemy, sending Yanarym to death. Worst of it, she has no cellphone nor an internet connection! She grieves. 

Guide-sama: "That's your problem? Having no cellphone, no internet?" 

"What should I worry about then?"

Guide-sama: "How about worrying about your incoming death?" 

"Bai," Maki called impatiently. She was startled when she realized he was waiting for her to stand up from the ground.

She eyed the young man from head to toe. It was too dark in the forest so she couldn't get a clear picture of his entire face. But with the help of the faint moonlight, she could at least see the silhouettes of his well-defined nose, thick eyebrows, sexy lips, and his pair of icy orbs staring straight at her. She could also tell from the distinct tone of his voice and his manly posture that he might be attractive. 

She bobbed her head as she slated something in her mind. She sighed, does she have a choice? Whatever just finish the tasks and leave here immediately! 

"Maki, come here." It took a while before she called the young man to approach her, he kneeled to her front. He was about to pull her up, yet she swiftly slithered her arms around on his neck and clung her legs all over his waist.

"Bai, what are you doing?" He asked her in confusion.

By the time their eyes met, Maki saw hers filled with passion. She narrowed the space between them and smiled at him sweetly.

"Your attractiveness is beyond what I have expected, Maki." She said blarney. Their nose almost touched from their closeness.

The once apathetic Maki became frozen on his spot with her behavior escalating to this. Maki knew it was from the influence of alcohol because the Bai would not do these kinds of things to the likes of him.. Yet here she is, smiling, praising, and seducing him as she clung onto him like a hungry snake.
