World Of Warcraft: Altered Time
Chapter 11 - Confrontation March 3, 7:30 am (Not Edited)
The soldiers that originally were protect her, had stayed behind on her orders. They watched the Alliance personnel like hawks. As the barracks near them had finally finished, they received five female Paladins by the looks of it. Or intiate members. Each of them paired of with a soldier and they started to spare with one another in martial combat.
"What diligent workers!" Jerard said amazed. As he watched them go to work a member of his group had snuck off without his knowing. The man didn't get far before a scream rang out
"Ahhh!"
Running with the rest of his men Jerard went to see what happened. He was shocked to see a pair on flying horses. One with a spear in hand the other with a bow and arrow ready. His guard had an arrow in his knee that pinned him to the ground. Walking over another of his subdornate flipped the man over ready to pull the arrow out.
"Sir, I dont think we should remove it. The shaft is made to sturdy to break evenly without causing damage." The guard looked it over and tried to test the theory.
"Then take the arrow head off and pull it out." Jerard said.
"Sir.. I can't. The arrow is one solid piece. Before you say pull it out anyway look at this." The guard rolled the other furthur over revealing the arrow head was bloomed out like a flower. "Pushing on the ends I cant make them retract long enough to risk it."
"What is the meaning of this?!'Jerard asked. "Dame Disa said it would be fine for us to remain here."
"That is true. However you subordinate stole a weapon from the militia shack over there. He is not permitted to have any weapons." The black pegasus rider said coldly.
"What?!" Jerard then looked to the side and could see a sword in front of his guard. "Please forgive him and us as well. He only did it since he felt scared I think." Feelingtrouble brewing he did not what to do.
"That is fine. However another offense and he we be arrested. A far as removing that arrow.. no. I will not waste my magic on him." The white pegasus rider flew up a little and waited for her partner. Once he flew up they continued their patrol. Looking up into the sky a few other riders could be seen scattered on out. They were few and far between. But the patterns they flew covered the area.
Back at the group by the water.
Arriving nearby another small group of Adventures from Silvermoon came by. There residents of Fairbreeze village by the looks of them. Seeing the little community of people at work they were happy for the chance to interact with them.
A bulky elf in the group approached one of the soldiers. Before he could ask anything the soldier spoke first.
"Halt! If you are adventures we have work for you. If you are enemies leave at once." The guard said neutrally.
"We are adventures." The bulky elf said. Behind him a troll walked up with a bow in his hand but no arrow knocked.
Azul walked away to lean against a tree. His eyes trained on the two as he went through some messages. A message appears in his mind from Ks.
(Troops have finished: Reclaiming Sunstrider Isle, Unfortunate Measures, Solanian's belonging, the SHrine of Dath'Remar, Aggression, Thirst Unending, A Fistful of Silvers, Felendren the Banished, Tainted Arcane Sliver, Aiding the Outrunners, Arcane Instability, Incriminating Doc.u.ments, Soaked Pages, Taking the Fall, Swift Discipline.)
(Felendren has been detained. Cleaning and observing skills. Shows heavy resistance. Kalar has voted to kill. Proceed?)
(Dranei Female added)
(Greater Light Skills unlocked.)
(Kalar has created 10 Human Males devoted to the Light.)
(Brotherhood of the Light established.)
(Kalar has created 10 Human Females devoted to the Light.)
(Sisterhood of the Sword of Light established.)
(City reputation with Silvermoon increased. Boundary influence extended.)
(Warning large Mana needed to upgrade Capital City.)
'Felendren needs to be completely stripped of what he knows. If he continues to resist, kill him Ks and recycle him. Create a Dranei Female and Male and send my way. Leave their classes blank, but keep them with a few Light abilities.' Looking at the argument between the other two, Azul paused for a moment. Seeing that it was under control he did not interfere. Turning back to the messages, he needs to make a plan for farther along. 'I need more villages. Tch, dont want to risk it. I will wait until our forces grow a little stronger.'
Over to the side, dynamics had changed between the two drawing Azul's full attention.
Arion grabbed Nocturne by the wrist. His gaze was heated and full of d.e.s.i.r.e as he stared at her. Seeing her cold gaze he let go. The burning heat lessening as he gained control of himself. "I am sorry do forgive me."
"Not so easily." Nocturne raised her hand and smacked him. She then punched him in the gut knocking the air out of him. Seeing him buckle on the ground she smiled. "I let my guard down around you my mistake. Thought we were friends, that you at least respected me."
'I do!" Arion stared up at her. "Damn you hit hard! It was a mistake on my part. I let my thoughts get the better of me. I should have known I was not good enough."
"Huh, good enough? Are you an idiot?" Nocturn said glowering over him. "You are a catch kid. You have kept pace and used what Azul gave you accordingly. You just made a mistake. You just aren't my type. Now my sister, on the other hand, would eat you alive."
"You mean it?" Arion stared his confidence returning.
"Of course. Although we both have been acting pretty hotheaded lately." She smiled. She wanted to teas the young elf, but worries if there starting friendship could handle that. Obviously it could barely. But why test it furthur. Seduction and mind games should not be used as they were in Silvermoon. Azul walked from the clearing and stared at the two.
"Mind telling me what happened?" He heard everything but wanted to hear what they had to say themselves. The two looked at each other. They then felt the magic energy that cascaded off Azul. Anger but clarity pushing them to speak up.
"I.." Arion started to say. Standing up he looked at his Lord. "I made an advance on Nocturne. It was a strong one at that. She answered me in the negative." Still feeling ashamed, Arion started to walk off. "I became to conceited, confused. I dont really know myself." He sounded frustrated.
"It is not the end of the world yah no. Just because she didnt choose you, doesn't mean someone else won't. Also the buffs I placed on you two caused your actions to escalate. I told you two to be mindful of magic at work." Azul smiled teasingly. "Always pay attention to magic placed on you."
"It is a buff for increased wits and intellect. The other is increased stamina and blood flow."
"Thanks. I will do better to control myself. I am not like the others! I swear!" Deciding to blow off some steam Arion went hunting.
"Sooo, Azul," Nocturne said coming up behind him. "Were you jealous?"
"Jealous no. Envious yes. I would love to grab you as he did." Azul had thought about messing with the boy but didnt. Nocturne handled it well. Arion would just have to sort the emotion of the others out of him. Help build himself up anyway from destroying them.
"What is stopping you?" Nocturne said leaning over. "I am your Priestess after all. Yours in every way."
"Soon very soon."Reaching behing he grabbed her a.s.s tightly. "You are acting more like your original self. I cant wait till you finish."
"Are you sure you can handle me then? I was a bit of a brat." Nocturne reminisces a little. Remembering how much she took for granted. The number of servants she abused. 'I wonder if they are still alive. What would they think of me now?'
"Hmm, I have just the thing for brats." Azul gripped her harder. He then sent an image of what he would do to her given a nice quiet room and paddle.
"We.. we.. should go," Nocturne said blushing. Her body quivered as she felt embarrassed. "Some things can wait."
"That is true. Some things can wait. Looking to the outskirts Azul brow furrowed. "I dont want to risk loosing the time chance that we have. We will have to head to "RageFireChasm" soon."
"Is that the first place we will change?" Nocturne asked happy for the change in conversation.
"Yes and no. Going there we will take its resources and people if we can. Trying to learn how it came about for the possible future here. From what Ks told me.. that will be something that will unfold in our time line." Azul walked slowly towards the southwest. "We have one shot at my current strength so it will ne difficult."
"And just the two of us are going?"
"That is correct. In the future we will take 5-10 people. However for now we need to become much stronger The others will help maintain and build up the city while we do so." Looking back her he couldn't help but ask. "Are you afraid to go? Or are you afraid to be alone with me?" Grinning he continued, "are tou scared my priestess?"
Her pupils dilated as she felt his strong gaze. Feeling as if his voice played right in her very ears despite him walking in front of her. Checking her status she realized a spell was cast on her.
(Dark Truth: Under this spell the target must tell the truth and anything connected to it.)
"All of the above!" Nocturne said quickly. "But I will give it my all."
"Hahaa, that is good." Azul laughed happily. "Then maybe we should hurry and go then?"
"Let us take our time leaving I am beat." Nocturnes said smiling wrly. Arion had caught up when them again. Giving the young elf a nod she thought it best would be a time to ask Azul something. "I am your priestess, what does that all entail?"
"That I will have to answer when it is just the two of us and your sister. As well as in front of the Goddess statues I have to build." Azul thought about and realized him explaining or Ks would give her technical information But if she received though divinity it would be better. "When we get back, the mana cost will be crazy since we lack Stone currently. But hopefully the plan is ave for the new Wretched will work out."
"New Wretched?" The other two asked at the same time.
"Yes. A few have been captured around the area. I have to do something a little different with them. As well the injured Lynx that were captured." Azul said a she found a waypoint to use to port them back to the city. "I also need to instruct two of our groups in the method for treating the Dead Scar. They will take on what's directly by our city. The few points we set up will keep it from growing but it will be a full time job I can tell. which will be perfect for our Druids and Hunters."
"Bwoom," the trio ported back and were in the city.
"But we dont have Druids. And our Hunters just started right?" Arion asked.
"That is true." Nocturne said. She looked at Azul and saw that his eyes were glazed over. "Is something wrong?!" Her voice came out alarmed.
Azul was preoccupied with all the notifications and couldn't respond. The worst one was the need to upgrade his city. The limitation caused to many problems. The biggest mistake was the Spire. He didnt think it would work so well with the city. Even still damaged the output increase in magic had created much healthier citizens. As well as several Pegasi flying around.
Closing the windows quickly, Azul waved his hand spending magic to transport the little pegasi back into the Spire. Erecting a barrier to keep them locked up he saw several of the riders looking exhausted. To tired to speak they slumped on the mounts.
",Oh dear, I miscalculated horribly." Speaking with a little guilt, he wonder on the best course of action. "I need to take care of this first." Just then he looked to the west seeing the bigger storm roll in. "I hope those two are ok. Follow me to the Command room."
"What diligent workers!" Jerard said amazed. As he watched them go to work a member of his group had snuck off without his knowing. The man didn't get far before a scream rang out
