Back to Aman'Thul

He who traveled through space in time. He stopped right outside a point of time years before the incident. A time when the race was still whole. But try as he might, the High Borne split from the Night Elves still. Well exiled if you are being specific. He weaved time and events placing himself as the older sibling of the Ruler of the elves. He allowed his sibling to rule instead, as he taught his children and tried his best to spread peace and wisdom.

Creating additional defenders of the realm. As the years passed he taught the body Azul would reside in all sorts of martial skill and arcane wisdom. The body learned at a fast pace, too fast a pace. It elected jealousy and hatred amongst too many noble families. Aman'Thul's own children became weary of their father teaching arts. In their mind, he taught him moves they should have learned. With jealousy leading the way as well the fact none of the children knew who his mother was.. it was only a matter of time before tragedy struck. They waited till their father was a way to make there move.

The eldest son manipulated events to have the council frame him for treason. The eldest daughter maneuvered some handmaidens to say he attacked them diminishing his reputation. The 3 and 4 in line, twins at that took his research and changed it to that as if he was consulting with ancient creatures of evil. As Azul meditated touching on the Emerald Dream the guards came apprehending him. Deep within the confines of the walk of dreams, the soul of Azul could not defend himself.

Aman'Thul arrived right as Azul was placed in magical dampening chains. His spirit was shackled as well. Preventing almost all arts from being used. With Aman'Thul speaking on his behalf Azul was placed inside a magical coffin locked away deep inside the Highborn chambers. After seeing that done, Aman'Thul altered the minds of those in the room to ensure Azul's safety. The Sunstrider family was given a key to free him. The Windrunner family was given a map to always be able to find him. Various other families were given items to hold and safeguard.

Aman'Thul stared at his children who allowed jealousy to seep into there hearts poisoning everything he tried to achieve. He could not fault them to much, considering how he saw the signs and did not intervene. But before he could rectify his mistake paranoia for the future drove him harder than ever before. Planting a magical message for his children Aman'Thul left to help the Titan's in this current time period against the Burning Legion. Another family member that had turned out so wrong. He remembers a time when Sargeras was the brightest of them all. Those were days long past.

Azul awakened in his crystal coffin. His energies reached out pulling what arcane energy he could muster to himself. As the powers shaped on his body he felt a rush of invigoration. He called out to the Ks*. (Kingdom System)

'How much longer before I am found?' Azul became antsy from the confinement of the ruins. Ks alerted him of the various states of the place in his range of access.

"Hey, over here I found something." A person yelled in the ruins. It was a young dwarf barely out of his teens. "I told you we would find something in this Academy ruins. I get the bigger cut now." The young dwarf then pulled a boulder off the coffin throwing it to the side. His muscle barely bulging from the exertion. "Holyshit there is a big diamond here! We are going to be rich!" New mana flushed into the room from the outside.

The priest in the group shudders a little at the influx. "Stupid elves and their magic. Will be the end of us all I swear it." The priest saw a collapsed shelf to the side, moving over to investigate she started to thumb through it. "Written in Ancient Elven, blast it all. Get over you filthy wretched start reading this for me." A smaller wretched walked over and started to read the language slowly out loud.

"Get down from there. We will have the filthy wretched dig it out." Another man's voice yelled. It was another dwarf that stood a little taller than the rest. A musket strapped to his back gave the impression of a hunter. He looked to the side throwing a piece of arcane stone to some wretched. He treated them less than dogs. They weren't really much of people anymore in his eyes or most races for that matter. They were wretched. Treated as less than slaves. Just withering junkies waiting for a fix. Too weak to strengthen there mind to save themselves. It is said there are more wretched amongst Silvermoon than living Blood Elves. The older dwarf's beard tingled causing his eyes to scrunch up. "Be careful you igit. My beard is telling me there is trouble in here."

The young dwarf looked back and smiled. He felt it was better if he at least touched it first. It was his idea and his find. He wanted to at least touch the giant diamond first. Looking back he noticed a crest close to the center. It resembled the Icon of Blood. The racial crest of the Blood Elves. This one was altered in various ways. Instead of red it was blue. The gem at the top was a turquoise teal, instead of gold edges, it was silver all the way. It instilled fear in the young dwarf. So much so that he stumbled from up top falling down below. He landed on several of the wretched that were heading over to excavate the coffin.

"Ahhh!" The boy screamed as he slid down the rough surface.

"Watch where you are landing you fool!" Someone squeaked out. The voice came out more like a mouse than an actual person talking. The group of robbers walked around the debris toward there fallen sibling.

"What couldn't keep your balance squirt?" The obvious leader of the group asked. He looked back up to the coffin squinting his eyes. A small tingle of fear traveled up his spine. "What the hell is that thing? It can't just be a diamond."

"Just send the wretched to pull it out. If it's a magical trap they can contain it. If it's just a regular trap better them than us." The female dwarf in the group said before yelling to the wretched. "Go you filthy monsters, get that jewel." None of them moved forward, instead, they looked to the sides trying to determine where a voice was coming from. Seeing none of them move she grabbed one by the leg and threw the wretched that weighed damn near nothing towards the diamond. "Be of use you lazy things."

"Ehhh, no!" The wretched screamed as it hit the diamond.

'Wow, that is crappy. Sucks to be you.' Azul mused somewhat. 'But your mind should still have some value.'

"Ah.. ah, your that voice. The crystal.. it is alive. You are living thing. Such strong magic! Give me magic!!" The wretched started smashing against the diamond. In a matter of seconds, its face distorted in ecstasy from the magic that was gathered in front of it. "Give! Give! Give!"

"Stop that idiot. You'll break it!" The kid yelled. "Whack" The boy was smacked in the back of his head by the elder brother.

"You idiot. Do you really think it would break from that weak little thing attacks?" The woman questioned rhetorically. Feeling a light pain in her c.h.e.s.t she looked down. "What in the world is happening?" Holy energy left her body as she fell to the floor. "My power is leaving me!"

'If I thought this was a way to get out I would allow this but... you are just becoming annoying. going flashy.' The room was immediately devoid of magical energy. A vortex of white blue flame fired from the crystal engulfing the wretched on it on top, burning it to smithereens. The flames danced around the ceiling and formed into a bird of fire. With a flap of its wings, it cut off the exits entrapping everyone inside. Floating out of the wreckage Azul stepped down right in front of them. Armor of silver white magecraft formed on his persons. It was complete with a purple cape that flapped silently in the air. Despite no air in the chamber.

"Please to make your acquaintance," Azul said to the wretched man who kneeled before him. "Sorry about your friend but she was a little to far gone. If you become strong, she can be returned for a reward. You yourself on the other hand," (Subject found. Condition Excellent. Recyclable. Value Rare.) "definitely worth saving. What say you, follow me and I will cure you of your affliction. The rest of the wretched can be saved as well. If they try a little more."

Azul did not know the importance of the man, but he knew with a value of rare he had to be worth a little more attention. Looking at the dimming light in the man's eyes he could see why his condition was excellent. He was more in control of his magic than most. He needs it but not as bad most in his group did.

Observing his hesitation Azul looked to the dwarfs. Stretching his hands outward he moved them in the air pulling them to him. The hunter was able to resist but the others were too weak or too inexperienced to do anything. The female dwarf was first, as Azul looked to the wretched he smiled warmly to them.

"They have caused you all great pain have they not?" Looking at the shamed faced of each individual Azul knew he was right. Each of them shook their head in agreeance with what was asked. The Dwarf eyes became wide. Knowing the time of her demise was at hand she looked to the youngest of her brothers. He held such promise and only had an eye for adventure but her older brother the twisted monster perverted everything he touched. Thinking back to all the wicked deeds she committed with her brother's death was a just punishment. This would not be pleasant. The flame outstretched in engulfed her body turning to little particles that Azul stored inside his book.

The little dwarf brook free with a rush of anger charging at Azul. With daggers are drawn he swung with all the force he could muster to kill the elf before him. The blades danced through the air as his footwork gathered the little magick it could muster from his enchanted boots. Azul stood there allowing the blades to pierce his flesh. Noticing the little damage he grabbed the young dwarf by his neck and sent him hurtling into the air. The older dwarf realized his folly, he screamed and begged for the elf to spare his brother. Tears coming down his facing causing him to look even uglier.

"I beg you, spare him! He is just a boy! I will do whatever you want but please spare him!" The elder dwarf begged. Azul paused due to the message that appeared. A new option.

(Willing sacrifices offer better resources.)

Looking over to the wretched he spoke to earlier he fashioned a blade out of raw magic. The little blade had a Lynx inscribed on it reaching towards the tip. The blade floated towards the wretched.

"Tell me will you follow or will you continue your current life here? What will it be?" Azul voice came out like the sweetest honey. He did not apply magic to it, no. That would have made it too easy. He used his charm that he learned from Bane and used the wisdom he picked up from Athena.

(Willing sacrifices offer better resources.)

The wretched grabbed the blade feeling the power flow through him. Slowly it returned his senses revitalizing his body back to the standard condition. With a thrust of the blade into the dwarf, he would return to the man he once was, but at a price. The blade whispered into his ears the future of his life. He will never need to draw on arcane energy as long as he followed Azul. Images of himself leading elves against the most heinous and corrupt of demons. A life of glory and purpose.. but most important salvation.

Kalar Theron never felt a heavier burden in his life. It was if time stood still around him. Hesitation he could not afford. It was time he followed his own dreams. This blade was a way to finally reach it. As he thrust the blade deep into the dwarf's c.h.e.s.t the blood dripped down. the blade glowed and sigils traveled up his arm. With the stab, the dwarf was drained of all his martial skill and prowess everything he knew as a hunter drained from him. All that was left, was a small shadow of the man.

Azul reached his hand out as he walked to Kalar. Touching him on his shoulder he created a pair of clothes for the man destroying his rags he wore. Transferring a little more energy into the man he watched as he filled out more. Looking towards the dwarf he destroyed his heart with a flick of his wrist. The hunter still drew breath. Blood spilled from the side of his mouth but he looked on defiantly with the last strength of his soul. The dwarf looked toward his brother in the air. It was the last thing he saw as Azul burned his body away absorbing him into his book.

"Sigh, I cannot kill his brother. What should we do with him?" Azul asked Kalar. Kalar just shrugged his shoulder as he walked over to talk to the others. Feeding them a little magic to sate them. He needed them lucid enough for them to decide their future actions.

"I know what to do." The little goblin female walked out. She was terrified but did what came best to her. Try to survive. "The name is Disa Clockworkson at your service. That boy is wanted by an Alliance gang. He skipped out on a marriage to one of the noblewomen he fell in love with him at first sight. She would not kill him, my lord. But his fate would not be pretty."

"Be at ease little goblin. Excuse me, Ms.Disa. You are fine. Know this, none will hurt you here. Unless you deserve it." Watching her body relax he continued to talk. "I know you did not mistreat them. So you are fine I assure you." Azul did not lie.

With each absorption of the book, more information poured in about the deceased. One thing that did stand out about the goblin, was that she was good-hearted. And that she had been screwed over in a very terrible deal with the Alliance and Horde. She took whatever job she could now to live and Azul would give her the chance to do just that. "I need a new engineer do you think you are up for the job?"

"Uh yy yes I am. Sure easy do job." The little goblin stuttered out. "I mean sure. Easy job. I'm your girl." Twiddling her thumbs she tried her best to stay calm.

"Oh, your my girl?" Azul mused. "I never had goblin before I you have the stamina." The goblin face blushed looking like a plum. Obviously, that was not what she meant. "I only slightly tease." Looking to the rest of the wretched, Azul wondered if they made up their minds yet as Kalar talked to them.

As they waited Azul went over the new notifications that all popped up.

(Class unlocked. Priest, Hunter, Rogue) (Various Abilities unlocked. See details once the base has opened.)

"Must find a place to set up soon. The longer I wait to establish the worse it will become." Looking over at Kalar who was treating the wretched he looked to the goblin next. "Do you know a place with a lot of magic. Does not matter if it unstable magic. That will actually make it easier."

"I know of a place my lord. But it is dangerous." Kalar had a very unusual look on his face. He was thinking of all the ways to hurry and get the elf before him more wretched.

"That's perfect then. I will need a place to train personnel and warriors. So what is this place?"
