World Of Warcraft: Altered Time

Chapter 22 - To much to do Part 1

Azul hunted the entire night getting rid of every last Voidwalker he came across. Each bit of magic drained from them, boosted his reserves that he then spent on speeding up base defenses in the area. The knowledge that the creatures had was staggering. They spoke of some Shadowlands that existed. Not knowing anything about them, Azul let Ks worry about it.

"Haaaa." Taking a breather on the destroyed tower he looked over the area. Down below several elves were busing themselves helping to fix the place. A few wielded magic with ease. Lifting broken home away and applying new terrain. "Lots of building to be done. Even with the other races of myself, it will be difficult. Especially the higher up we go in level. I need more trust worthy people to to take responsibility. This war cam not be one alone."

"You will fail..."

A voice said drearily from the surroundings. Azul channeled his Light magic and blasted it away. Whatever he hit reformed and floated in front of him.

"Bah a Spectre!" Azul scoffed at it. It was a very powerful spirit that died in the village. A few of them were around the area and he took care of the ones that gave off bad vibes. "Begone before I lose my patience."

"You will fail... the same as the others .."

"Meh so what?" Azul commented. He shrugged his shoulders and built up his magic. "If I fail, then I fail. Does not mean I wont give the good old Louisiana try. I will fight till my body gives out. Matter of fact.. I will still keep going after that. I will use spirit magic and rip apart the afterlife trying to stop the Burning Legion, The Lich King, and even the Cataclysm. I am not like you weak Spectre. You could have continued to fight even in death by possessing bodies. But you didnt."

"Life must be respected.."

"Pft sure it does." Azul pointed his hand out and destroyed the Spectre. "Bye bye now. Exorcism!"

The golden light wrapped around the Spectre and purified the spirit. It turned into a Blood Elf Noble that stared at Azul in shame. Walking over, it gave itself over to him. It wanted to contribute on some way.

"Tch fine." Azul clicked his teeth and absorbed the spirit. It would not go into a new body but live on through himself. He felt his knowledge as a Paladin increase.Specifically his art of Retrbution. "Hmm just another lost soul." Azul eyes flared with spirit magic before he walked down the tower towards the inn to rest.

-Next Morning-

"Murlocs are attacking!" Someone yelled. It was a regular civilian running to grab some weapons and armor to go back and fight. The small armor closet in the inn was for civilian use only. The gear inside was special.

"Woosh!" As soon as he grabbed hold, his armor and clothing fit normally into place. He know longer looked like a farmer but a seasoned warrior. Well.. someone who knew how to poke and stab anyway.

"Hmm time to kill the little mutants." Azul said. Standing up from the stool, he coordinated with the guards and charged out to join the others.

"Well this is just a flaming wreck waiting to happen." Demona appeared next to him. "I am suprised a Gnome party is this far out. What do you want to do?"

"We take care of murlocks. Then see about the Gnomes.l and whatever else. Azul said. Demona took a few with her and went south. The bulk stood here in the middle to hold the area off. Mostly the healers to keep the citizens healed up as they fought. Azul and ten others went north to cut off the other fleeing morlocks. "This will be messy." As he ran, he changed to the Mage class. Pure firepower would be needed for now.

"Holy shite!" A warrior said when they arrived. Several eggs had floated onto the shore with murlocs huddled around them. The little monsters started hissing at Azul and company. "Shield ups!"

"Kaak, kaka, kaak!" The murlocks were already in red and fired instantly shooting out a green gunk. They made themselves the enemy before Azul and company could really attack or back away.

"Thunk!" They spit hit against the shield and caused the weight to increase. The warriors would not leave that for long. The smell did not help at all.

"Hah!" Azul released a wave of magic sending the next volley back at the creatures. Seeing them actually get stuck in their own secretions gave him an idea. He started to chant as the Warriors attacked any that came nearby.

"Raah!" A warrior name appeared instantly at first contact. His shield ramming into three Murlocs . His sword made quick work of two others. His name was Antoni.

"Filthy creatures!" A warrior behind stabbed with a spear through the opening Antoni formed. He did a sweep and spun in a quick circle before darting back in behind the shields. "Hiyah!" With the sweep a wave of magic hurled several morlocks into the air. Above his name floated, Theodore.

"Twang, twang, twang, twang!" Four arrows shot out. Each found home inside a flying murloc. Above that Warriors head, her name flickered into place. Demetrus. Instantly Azul noticed she in the others moved in a weird pattern.

"Hup!" Another warrior grabbed it, spun in place killing several Murlocs that just arrived. "Phew!" The warrior smiled with a blood thirsty grin. "Raaaahh!" He let loose a War Cry that stunned a group that surrounded three warriors that just regrouped.

'Hmm a bunch of Greeks maybe?' Azul questioned himself. Finishing the chant, he let it loose. "Arc Lightning!"

"Bzzzt!" All across the area, lighting struck the murlocs and then the eggs. It circled around and came back to Azul. "Bzzt!" The spell fed back into him. Hurling it back out, it did more damage and went furthur outward towards the group that had just been stunned specifically.

"Raaagh!" Seeing its children getting slaughtered, a very large murlock came running out. It went straight for Azul who kept returning the Lighting everytime it started to weaken.

"Hmph!" Demetrus snorted and knocked a few more arrows. She fired them directly towards the large murlocs leg. Fall for me!"

"Schlick!" Only one sound came out. The arrows hit at once, causing it to trip the Murloc up.

"Thump!" The large Murloc landed on several others and scrambled to get up. Before it could however, the lighting came around and shocked it. "Bzzzt!" The attacked circled back over to Azul once again.

A warrior ran up hammer raised and smashed the large Murlocs leg completely. "Splat!" It didnt even get the chance to scream as an armored boot went through its head from another warrior joining the fray.

"Haaa!" A group of five warriors swung there sword towards the shore and sent the murlocks flying back into the water. They then stepped back as Azul turned that way.

"Tch, that is it for this spell!" Azul hurled the chain Lighting into a ball, and watched as it lobbed into the middle of the group in the water. "Time for a little more power now."

"Bzzzzt!" The Murlocs in the water were struck by the lighting and lifted up into the air.

"Warriors take the ones in the water once they drop." Azul ordered l, he turned to fight against the ones that he zapped earlier. Seeing the warriors take off, Azul charged in. Hands burning with fire. "Haaaa!"

"Fwwwoosh!" With a yell, flames poured out of his hands while he moved. Azul ran through the Murlocs and started setting them on fire. Once in the center he stopped and placed his hands on the ground. "Chish, chish, chish, chish!"

A small wave of fire with out pushing the Murlocs back. More eggs erupted from the heat. More Murlocs turned towards Azul, eyes blazing with fury and madness. The second wave of fire burned the group again. When the third went out, the creatures ducked over it. However the fourth caused them all to turn and run.

"Bzzzt!" Inside the fire was electricity. The Murlocs didnt get far as they were burned up and then zapped again.

"Waergh!" A murlock had made it to Azul and cut him across the c.h.e.s.t. Three more had made it behind him and attacked his back.

"Burn!" Azul said as fire left his body and set the morlocs on fire. In a matter of seconds, the ones near him were reduced to ash. "Hah!" Taking a deep breath, he then turned his book into a sword.

"Warrgll!" A murlock yelled coming at him. Its claws laced with poisoned latched onto his forearm.

"Tch." Wincing in pain, Azul stabbed his sword right through its throat and sliced the head off. "So many of these blasted things. He spared a glance and was happy the warriors were doing fine. The Murlocs by himself however, were in a frenzy from him destroying so many eggs. "In for a penny, in for a pound."

"Crroo." A Murloc on the outskirts looked in suprise. It then felt its body get dragged away to the center. "Waaaargh!" It clawed at the sand trying to stay on the ground. "Waaah!" It screamed again when it loss its grip and flew into the air.

"Waarrgh!" More murlocks started to scream as they to were lifted into the air and dragged to the center. Azul kept running across the ground creating a bigger fire trail. In his mge form he was really light and his speed was amplified by the magic. He weaved and bobbed through those who kept a foothold. Well a claw hold to be accurate.

"Oh I have enough for chain Lighting again." Azul said casually. Raising his free hand up, he decided against it. He then started firing bolts of lighting into the raging fire. "I need to practice my aiming anyway. Tab bit rusty."

"Woooom, woom!" The area vibrated in fire nagic.Azul created several balls of fire and lighting. Keeping an eye on everyone's health, he thought of an idea. Letting out a quick chant, he fired several golden balls of fire. They contain the ability to heal the warriors and would cause fire damage to anyone else.

"Over here!" Antoni yelled. "Come on you reverse mermaids!"

"Bng, bang, bang!" He smacked against his shield and drew another group over. Azul sent a wave of fireballs directly at the warrior who jumped in the center pulled a large mess of Murlocs towards himself.

Soon the beach was cleared and the shore was cleared up. The warriors did not loot as they looked towards the water. Slowly they backed up and retreated to Azul. Feeling something was off, Azul switch to his Paladin mode. Casting a group heal to restore everyone back to full health, he then cure everyone of the poison.

"Splash!" A sound of something falling in the water echoed. They look to the south and noticed one of the sh.i.p.s was falling apart. Little people could be seen trying their best to keep everything togethor. The mixture looked to be both Gnome's and Dwarves. Azul thought he saw a few Goblins in the mix. But that couldnt be right.

"Dush!" The center mast fell into water next. Murlocks started to climb up and ran up on deck. They didnt attack the crew, but pushed them and rammed past them. Ripping apart the floorboards several chains could be seen now.

"That thing is huge!" Antiva a female awakened warrior said. "We are not going to fight that in the water are we?"

The others had a dreadful look on their faces. They were not equip for water combat.

"No. We wait it out before anything. I rather recover and see what happens." Azul smiled as he was preparing for the worst. A plan to freeze the water and run out to fight was made. He wanted to have fun while doing things as well as put the warriors through the paces faster. "Hmm are they slavers by chances?"

"Beast slavers at that." Antiva said. "Or mur slavers.. what the hell are these things mostly? Fish people?"

"Hmm yes and no." Azul shook his head and stopped talking as a message from Demona came in. She was using a small spell that could cover a few miles. 'Go ahead.'

Demona: The Dwarves are wanting to come ashore, cant believe they are working with other small races. Back in my time they were isolationist. Anyway, I told them no of course. They can send a small party only ot Seeing around to help their burning sh.i.p.s. What do you want to do about the cargo that is floating ashore?

'Good job. It is ours once it hits the shores. Clean up the beach and grab the loot. We know nothing of these Dwarves so sode of caution. A small group of fliers are making their way over to grab any that have fallen in the water.I do not want them sneaking to the shore. If the Druids were trained this would be a good chance for them.' Azul thought back and his eyes glowed dangerously as all the warriors near him were awakened. "Hmmm maybe we need to do something different? No the treaty with the Alliance does not cover anything with these "traders" since no Alliance flag is onboard. Handle it with care on your End Demona. I leave up to you for the finer details. We may fight against a giant something or Murr slave owners. It's up in the air for now.'

Demona: You get all the fun. But will do, see you in a few hours.

"Umm it looks as if its free." Antiva said as she pulled her bow to the ready. Demetrus was ready as well as Coalla, Tristfall, and Muika. Each were more better with the bow Alas Azul understood from the information Ks provided. And they were not all females. One was a male but Ks did not inform him for privacy sake by the Warrior's request. Antiva voice interrupted his thoughts. "Shoot to Kill!"

"Schup!" Each of the "female" warriors fired at the same time creating, a very unusual noise. The flare of magic was blinding.

"Haaa what did yall just shoot at?" Azul questioned. Before he could check, a message popped up in front of him. The glare left his eyes just in time to see it. "Welll shit..."
