A year ago, I, who just graduated from high school took an adventurer qualification and challenged the dungeon, was able to safely acquire the status that said only has a 50% acquisition rate. And one of the skills that I awakened at that time was a unique skill [Transfer Within Dungeon].

Until that time, a transfer type skill had never been found. Although there was a type of transfer magic that automatically activated to return adventurers to the surface after killing the dungeon boss, it was not categorized as a skill and cannot be activated by a person.

For that reason, my unique skill attracted much attention. Let alone the attention from other adventurers, I even got recruited by various guilds. And one of them was him—Kazami Shin.

Similar to me, Kazami who awakened a unique skill was also invited by various guilds. However, he had no intention of joining any guild. And the reason I heard from him was like this.

“I wanted to create my own guild. The top-ranking guilds in this country have hardly changed in a long time and I deeply deplore this situation. Therefore, why don’t we as adventurers who have a special power work together to overtake the top guys?”

For that reason, he seemed to be gathering people who had a unique skill like himself and then make a name as a party as the first step to overtake the top-ranking guilds.

Honestly, at that time, I believed that I was special when I awakened a unique skill like Kazami. Hence, there was a point I could agree with Kazami’s ideal.

Although I wasn’t interested in overtaking the top-ranking guilds, I was thrilled to imagine a future where I climbed to the top ranking with my own power. That’s why I decided to join Kazami’s party. And immediately after that, I got to know the harsh reality.

As I said before, my unique skill [Transfer Within Dungeon] couldn’t even be used for support, let alone for a fight. Meanwhile, Kazami and his friends were different.

At that time, there were four other adventurers who had a unique skill in the party beside me. First of all, the name of the unique skill possessed by Kazami, the leader of the party, is [Raigeki].

As the name implies, it was a skill that made the user able to freely manipulate lightning. However, its power was very extraordinary. First, even when the skill was level 1, it had the power that rivaled level 10 [Beginner Magic].

What’s more ridiculous is, MP is not needed to activate [Raigeki]. I think you can understand how much this skill deviated from the norm without much thought.

This means Kazami could use attacks several times more powerful than other adventurers at the same level as him without being worried about how many times he could attack. Although it was said there was a feeling of exhaustion after using the skill, it cannot be called a disadvantage since it was the same as using other magic.

And the other three members of the party—

Satou Yuuya, Tanaka Kousuke, Takaishi Sakura also possessed unique skills as strong as [Raigeki]. Thus, I was clearly out-of-place being in a party like that.

Rather, I just became a hindrance for them because the only skill I possessed other than my unique skill is [Body Reinforcement], and it was almost useless in battle.

As proof, not even a week after forming a party with them, rumors began to circulate among adventurers without me knowing where they came from. The rumor being that the unique skill I possessed was an incompetent skill that has no use and only became a hindrance to the other four members of the party. And the rumors were even more exaggerated than the facts.

Still, I didn’t feel like refuting the rumor because there were parts of the rumor that were actually true.

I was relieved when Kazami and the rest told me there was no need to worry about such a rumor, but at that time, I decided on something. If there was no change in [Transfer Within Dungeon] even after I raised its level to 2, I would leave the party because I believe it would be the best for me and Kazami’s party.

And the results as you know, only the activation time was changed from 10 seconds to 8 seconds which was not significant. Thus, I made up my mind and headed to Kazami to tell him that I was leaving the party.

However, I unintentionally heard the conversation between Kazami and Takaishi.

“Nee, Shin. Why didn’t you directly tell Amane to leave the party? Is there any point in making him quit by spreading the fact that he is useless to the people around him?”

“Of course, Sakura. From now on, we will become famous as a powerful party. Thus, our image is important in the process. And the image we will get from mercilessly kicking a member of our party who has been our comrade for a week and the person himself acknowledging his limit and leaving by himself will be completely different. Even you understand that right, Sakura?”

“…Well. that’s true. If it’s the latter,  people might get the impression that the person can’t compete in a party full of talented adventurers. Well, I’m good as long as he is gone. I’ll completely leave this matter to you, then.”

“Yeah, leave it to me.”

…In the end, that was the case.

The only people who knew that I wasn’t useful were my party members. And they spread it to let the other adventurers know. I wonder why I couldn’t come up with such a simple answer.

However, I didn’t feel like blaming Kazami even after hearing their conversation. Because it was true that I wasn’t needed in their party. Still, I would gladly leave the party if they told me that it was difficult for me to play an active role in the same party! Although I have that kind of thought, it was trivial at this point.

In the end, I told Kazami that I was leaving the party the next day. I don’t think they know I heard their conversation yesterday as Kazami showed a fake expression while trying to keep me in the party. But he soon tired of it and went towards his party members.

After that, I started working as a solo adventurer. There was still a guild that invited me to their guild in anticipation of the future of my skill after knowing I left the party. I forgot the name but it was quite a famous guild.

However, I who had a rejection toward the word ‘Comrade’ obviously declined the invitation. Thus after that for a while, I started my activities in E-rank and D-rank dungeons.

The surrounding adventurers looked at me with a gaze of contempt for my incompetence. It wasn’t just once or twice someone said to me that I was incompetent right in my face. And since the third time I’ve been recording when they told me I was incompetent and have thought of using it when I am in trouble with money by suing those adventurers who called me incompetent with that recording.
