You can use a vpn (a vpn can be used to hide your ip [just think of it as your location/identity]) to get a better deal on a vpn.

To keep it simple, it's sort of exploiting countries with weaker currencies and might not be completely legal (it's probably just in the gray zone), but I still find it an interesting fact nonetheless.
