Well until today, I didn't even know cardboard cuts were a thing and they actually do hurt a bit. For a cardboard cut to occur, you would either need to use an excessive amount of force, own a cardboard knife, or hit just the right spot.

I cut myself at a really flat angle right above my finger nail and it actually bled quite a bit.

(Nothing serious, I was just surprised)
