An a.d.u.l.t male moose can weigh up to half a ton and is definitely considered as a road hazard. Crashing into one these things is definitely worse than crashing into a brick wall as the moose would topple onto the car, crushing the driver and or passenger.

That's also why some countries have the so called moose test, which determines how well a car moving at high speeds can avoid a spontaneous moose.

Lesson of the chapter: If you don't get into moving vehicles, you can't crash into a moose.
