Chapter 816 - Tape Measures

Before using any tape measure, it is standard protocol to test if it's up to standard by seeing what length it can extend to without collapsing. This step is known as "breaking in."

A tape measure that hasn't been "broken in" just isn't accurate and can have deviancies of up to 3 kilometers. Do the right thing.
