The sound was really loud.

There was no music playing in the car at the moment and it was very quiet so after this extremely loud and abrupt “bang”, even the two people in the front row were shocked.

The expression on Xie Kun’s face instantly became extremely excited. His eyes widened and his eyebrows jumped. His neck stiffened for a while and then he twisted twice in a very slow motion.

Once was to look at the boy in the back row and the second time was to look at Lu Jingxing next to him.

The former didn’t seem to think that he had done anything shocking, as if the “deng” just now had never existed and his eyelids drooped as he closed his eyes again.

The latter was a completely different story.

After all, it was her own sister so it is impossible for Lu Jingxing to be so calm after seeing her being treated so rudely. He slowed down the speed of the car and frowned;”Tang Mubai, do you want to die?”

The boy in the back row lifted his eyelids and said in a very perfunctory voice;”No, I don’t want to.”

His voice was soft without any sense of shame .

Tang Mubai even felt that he didn’t do anything wrong to be blamed at all.

Originally, he hadn’t slept well for a few days and yesterday, he left  the laboratory after eleven o’clock and  after returning to the dormitory, he had written a report for another two hours. Finally,when he went to bed after finishing his work ,there were a few people snoring in the dormitory. The dormitory was filled with symphony of snores and under the torment, Tang Mubai only slept for four hours.

After getting in the car just now, he didn’t even look carefully at whether the person sitting next to him was a woman. He simply covered his head with his coat and fell asleep.

In the end, when he was about to fall asleep, a head just crashed down on him and he didn’t care who it was, he just push it right away .

The push turn out to be too hard accidentally.

Tang Mubai’s sleepiness decreased a little and with his brows raised lightly, he glanced at Lu Yining, who was still leaning against the car window with her eyes closed, “Your girlfriend?”

Lu Jingxing frowned, “My sister.”

“Oh..”

After a few seconds, “I don’t think it hurts.”

The boy said and glanced sideways again. The distance between the girl and him was already wide open and her short hair was messed up covering half of her face so he couldn’t see her  facial features clearly but only saw the tip of her nose.

Looking at her again, the girl’s fingers are slender and fair and her curled fingers are getting tighter and tighter.

The corners of Tang Mubai’s mouth twitched suddenly, his tone was calm and justified, “See she didn’t even wake up.”

Lu Yining: “…”

It was better not to say anything but just after those words ,she felt  a sharp pain spreading instantly.

The first thing Lu Yining felt was that there was a bump on her forehead.

In front of her, Xie Kun started flammming the flames, “Xiao Bai, you don’t know how to deal with a girl, right?”

If it were him, he would have let her lean on him for as long as she      wanted, not to mention pushing away a pretty little girl.

Tang Mubai squinted at him and ignored him.

“But then again,” Xie Kun saw that he was a lot more awake, and he even talked more, “You don’t know Ah Xing’s sister?”

Tang Mubai replied back, “Do you think I am you?”

Xie Kun had his own car but he keep tagging along in Lu Jingxing’s car every now and then and after some time, Lu Jingxing’s relatives and friends were all known to him.

Xie Kun curled the corners of his mouth, trying to pull back a smile, “Aren’t you going to apologize?”

“To whom,” the man’s voice paused for half a second, “You?”

“…”

Xie Kun choked and it was only then that he realized that the person involved had not woken up.

The boy in the back seat looked away and without waiting for Xie Kun to speak again, he pulled up his black jacket covering his entire face and his voice was tinged with a muffled smile and it was rare for him to swear.

Two words.

It meant something similar to “fool” but  of course, it was a little more unpleasant than “fool”.

This is the second time Tang Mubai has said these two words, at least in Xie Kun’s impression.

There is a reason why he tagged along Lu Jingxing’s car.

Of course, he prefer to drive his own car than tagging along.

It’s just that Xie Kun is not really good at driving and it took him ten attempts in total for him to pass the test from section 1 to 4  and after the test, the small notebook completely became a decoration.

The Xie family is not short of money and the day after Xie Kun got his driver’s license, his family immediately bought him a million-dollar luxury car .

Tang Mubai was fortunate enough to be the first person to be his co-driver.

It was a sunny and clear morning and Xie Kun took the car keys with great excitement .In order to match his car, he chose the most fashionable clothes and specially styled his hair and even applied hair gel but as soon as he sat in the driver’s seat, all the things he had learned before were thrown out from his mind and his mind became blank.

The little red convertible BMW was parked in front of the Xie’s garage for a few minutes with no steering, no honking and not turning on the high beams.

It was seven o’clock in the morning and there were still birds chirping in my ears.

Tang Mubai was sitting next to him and he got up very angrily and spit out two words with no expression on his face.
