You Are My Favorite Sin

Chapter 26:Honeymoon ( 6 )

"What are we doing to Bungus Ma?"

"You got a honeymoon gift from Dila's boss. The one who gave you the sunglasses, do you remember?"

Bara thought for a moment. He remembered Mr. Satria, the head of the Dila's branch office, who had a perverted brain. Even though he was old, his perverted brain was always young.

"Yes, I remember him, Ma. Where are we going for a honeymoon?"

"Kandui Villas."

Dian, who stood while waiting for Bara to talk to her mother, could not help but laughing. Bara and Dila had a honeymoon. Certainly Bara would be very tormented and bored. Dian laughed a little at the debate of Bara and Ranti. The beautiful woman acted as if there was nothing.

"Okay, I gotta go, Ma," Bara said coldly.

In his mind, Bara rebelled that he didn't want to go on a honeymoon with Dila but he didn't have any power to refuse. Their marriage had already been arranged by the two families.

"Excuse us, Ma'am," Dian said goodbye to Ranti.

"Be careful. I hope you will be more successful."

"God willing, Ma. Thanks to your prayers," said Bara as he got out of the house.

"I hope you can arrange the other members of the council. The coalition of our party controls the parliament if not mistaken is 44 or 43 seats. Of our own party there are 13 seats. I want to become chairman of the West Sumatra," said Bara while smoking a cigarette.

Dian did not want to be outdone. This beautiful girl also smoked like Bara.

"Are you sure you can do that, Boss?" Dian asked while smoking a cigarette.

The sight of Dian smoking had become a common thing for Abi. The handsome driver was not surprised to see Dian smoking because Dian was an active smoker.  Behind Dian's barbarian attitude, she was a gentle and polite woman. She can place herself with anyone, anywhere.

"To become chairman of the House of Representatives, it is confirmed from our coalition, but the name that has been put forward to become chairman is definitely not you, Boss. You're just a newcomer. According to my calculations, the one who will be promoted to be chairman is Mr. Defrin because he is already a senior and this is the third time he has served.  In addition, we have to lobby the chairman of the Regional Representative Board and the general chairman of our party in J city to issue a decree for the appointment of the chairman of the House of Representatives on behalf of you and that is not easy, Boss."

"We can do it, Dian. Use your skills as usual," Bara said ambitiously.

After fifteen minutes on their way, they arrived at the General Election Commission's office. The supporters welcomed Bara with euphoria. They chanted victory.

Bara waved his hand at his loyal supporters. This morning, Bara was very generous in giving a smile. Dian was getting more excited by the good looks of his boss.

The chairman of the General Election Commission will soon hold a plenary meeting to determine the results of the election votes. Journalists were already on standby to cover the General Election Commission's plenary meeting. As predicted, Bara entered the stock exchange as a member of the House of Representatives from the Yellow Star Party with the most votes.

The Yellow Star Party won the election in West Sumatra. The Yellow Star Party won 15 seats and confirmed that the chairman of the West Sumatra's House of Representatives will come from that party.

Bara breathed a sigh of relief and could not hide his happiness.  His voice was the most among the others. A year of draining and time-consuming campaign was not in vain. His hard work paid off.

Bara was sure that he won by millennial children. He never stopped being grateful for all his achievements. His efforts to collaborate with the P city program in the campaign and followed the activities of millennial children weren't in vain. If other members of the council campaign by promising something to the people, Bara did the opposite.

Dian provided a strategic approach with millennials and collaborated with all P city programs in gaining votes.

Beginner voters were potential voters and contribute the most votes so Bara approached them by participating in their activities both in social activities and seminars.

It was not uncommon for Bara to be an impromptu speaker.
