YOU ME ...DESTINY

I still care for her that's for sure it did not bother me even my sister was there just to take care of her food when we were in the restaurant.

Now that we are alone in my car instead of starting the engine and drive back to the company I did not. We really have to talk to sort things out we were friends, more than that. I do not want our relationship at work will become hinder to us.

"Okay, talk and I am listening." She said.

"I know you are mad when I left you after high school graduation party without telling you in person just a letter." I confessed. "I could not wake you up before I go because you sleep peaceful and beautifully at that time." I said and she was blushing when I said that. "And the last time we met, I wanted to go back to your room and say goodbye but it was unexpected situation came up that time. Sorry I know it was inappropriate."

She took a deep breath looking at me. "Okay, since that was long ago and things are different now, we are matured. Let us start all over again and leave the past behind Jaron. You are my boss now and I am you secretary. I do not want to end up any complications with you. We were young then and we were just hooking up." She said. "I love my job I do not want to mix our personal past to my job as your secretary." She emphasized her job seriously.

"Okay, I get it. I will not talk again whatever we did in the past because past is past." I said. "You are right we were young and immature. Now is different I should not be attached with our past anymore. I just wanted to make it clear since we are seeing every day I do not want to affect our working relationship."

"Yes, I agree to that." She said.

I do not know why but my heart hurts with the things she said about what we had in the past but she is right all of it. It cannot be the reason that complications between personal and working relationship.

Peeked at her for the last time then I started the engine. I was driving back to the company without talking anymore.

We reached the basement in due time I looked at my watch and it is time for her to go home. She reached her desk and I walked straight to my office.

I take a peek all the files my sister left me working on it. I guess it is going to be a very busy life for me. I disregard whatever I have with Cadence and act professionally.

A knocked from my door and it opened Cadence walked in. "Sir, is there anything else you need before I go home." She said.

"No, go ahead and take care. See you on Monday," I said as I looked at her then she just nodded.
