11. The Irrational Parents

Mesdil stood by the side for a while and watched everything going on. He was particularly intrigued by the black-haired boy who was still grabbing the brown-haired boy fiercely and shouted, “Apologize to Calan! Or I’ll beat you up!”

Becky clutched his clothes and struggled, saying stubbornly, “He does have silver hair! He’s a weirdo! I won’t apologize!”

The moment Becky said this, Little Calah became more agitated. Ignoring the teacher’s presence, he pounced over and his small fist kept hitting Becky’s little face, beating him until he cried.

At this moment, a brand-new car drove over and a slightly chubby man rushed out of the car and ran anxiously towards the children.

“Becky! My little Becky!” the man had seen his son being beaten up by a black-haired child when he was still in the car and he felt worried.

Baruch shoved the children who were in his way and rushed to his son. His thick and fat hand pushed Little Calah away, sending the six-year-old boy to the ground.

“Mr. Baruch, you can’t do it. He’s still a child,” the teacher rushed to stop him.

Baruch glared at the black-haired child on the ground, looking like he was going to eat him alive. Becky hugged Baruch’s thigh and cried sadly, “Papa, he hit me! He hit me! Papa, beat him for me…”

“Are you hurt, darling?” Baruch looked at his son in distress. The red marks on his son’s face fueled his fury. He took a stride forward, grabbed Little Calah and lifted him up.

“Mr. Baruch!” The teacher came up anxiously, wanting to stop him, but she was pushed away. “Get aside! I’ll sort things out with you later. How can you call yourself a teacher? Didn’t you see my son being beaten up?”

Then, he turned to the child angrily. Little Calah was held by his collar and his neck was choked. He struggled as he kicked with his little legs.

“You little bastard, you’re really ruthless. Let me teach you a lesson,” Baruch said as he raised his fat hand and aimed at Little Calah’s head.

Seeing the man raising his hand, the silver-haired little boy who had been standing quietly aside dropped his backpack and threw himself at the fat guy. He caught the fat hand that was about to hit Little Calah and bit it.

“Ah! Little bastard!” Baruch was in pain and threw the silver-haired boy to the ground.

“Calan! Calan! Let go!” Little Calah struggled angrily to no avail, so he bit the hand that was on his collar.

“Ahhh! Are you dogs?” Baruch threw Little Calah to the ground, too.

That was what Mu Yunshen saw as he got out of the car, that his two sons were thrown to the ground like sacks, and the one who did it was an adult!

“Calah! Calan!” He called out as he rushed over.

Holding the two children up and looking at their pale faces, his voice trembled nervously, “Calah, Calan, how are you? Are you hurt?”

Calah clenched his teeth and didn’t cry or call out of pain. His eyes were fierce as he stared at Baruch, as if he was about to pounce on him.

Calan was calm as he looked at Mu Yunshen with his extremely beautiful eyes. “I’m fine, Papa.”

“You are their father? Good that you’re here. I was just looking for you. Your son beat up my kid. What do you think we should do?” Baruch said indignantly

Mu Yunshen stood up with both kids in his arms. He was furious, too, “Is this the reason why you put your hands on two six-year-olds?”

Baruch ignored his accusation and said impatiently, “I’m telling you now that your son hit my child. How do you want to compensate? Look at my son’s face.”

Baruch pulled Becky forward, who was hiding behind him, to show Mu Yunshen.

Becky’s face was covered with red marks made by punches of small fists.

Mu Yunshen knew that it must be Calah who did it since Calan would never get into a fight.

“Calah, why did you hit him?” Mu Yunshen knew his children well. They were good kids who wouldn’t hit someone for no reason.

“He sneered at Calan and called him a silver-haired grandfather and a weirdo. And he even asked other children not to play with Calan. He didn’t let Calan play with toys. He has been bullying Calan. I am the older brother so of course I have to protect him,” Calah said loudly.

Mu Yunshen took a deep breath. He knew it must be because of Calan.

Calah was a lively kid, but he was also very protective of Calan. Calan was born a few minutes later than him. Because he had silver hair, he had always been criticized for it. Calan was Calah’s pearl of the oyster. No one could bully Calan or Calah would go berserk.

Mu Yunshen was not worried about Calah, but he was very worried about Calan. Maybe it was because Calan was born different from others, he had always been sensitive to people and things around him. He was very quiet at a young age and never cried or made a fuss. Even if no one played with him, he could stay alone all day. Mu Yunshen could only care more for such a child.

“He is a silver-haired grandfather. He’s different from us. He’s a monster! I don’t want him in my classroom!” With his father by his side, Becky became more fearless.

Mu Yunshen looked at Baruch coldly, “Your child is so impolite that he needs a little discipline. My son beat him to teach him a lesson. It is understandable that a child is insensible, but not you to be as insensible as your child.”

“If your kid is sick, take him to the hospital. Don’t let him run around and scare people with his grey hair. I will talk to the school. A child like yours shouldn’t be here. He will scare other children. The school has to be responsible for my son!”

Calan, who had been quiet, dropped his head slowly when he heard this, looking helpless.

Seeing that his son was hurt, Mu Yunshen could barely suppress his anger and was about to explode. He threw a punch directly at Baruch who staggered. If it was not for his weight, Baruch would have slumped to the ground in a miserable manner.

“Watch your mouth!” Mu Yunshen said angrily.

Having been punched, Baruch was dizzy in the head. He didn’t feel like himself after a long time. Half of his face was numb and he was instantly furious, “Like father, like son! You child is just as rude as every other kid from a single-parent family! Just you wait, this is not over! I will make sure it’s impossible for you to live in Rocktown!”

As Baruch said this, he took out his communicator and quickly dialed a number. As soon as the call got through, he roared at the communicator, “Hey, I’m Hande Baruch. I have a complaint that you have enrolled a mentally-challenged kid who hit my son. Let me tell you this, take care of it right now. Expel them. Otherwise, you should wait for your school to be checked!”

Baruch took his son Becky and said hatefully, “How dare you hit me. Just wait. No school will accept your kids from now on!”

“Let’s go, my son. Papa has already earned your revenge. They will not show up in your kindergarten in the future,” Baruch comforted his son as he walked to his car.

Becky leaned on his father’s shoulder and waved his fists at Calah arrogantly.
