“Excellent, seems like you didn’t realize your mistake.” Xiao Shengxian’s rage flared up when seeing Su Jie being so unyielding. However, since he was in his brother’s place, he didn’t choose to punish him right away.

“Take him down,” ordered coldly Xiao Shengxian.

The guards took the order and left while Xiao Shengxian went to see his brother with his wound unattended.

“What brings you back?” asked Xiao Shengnian holding a book without even raising his head. He knew who it was the moment he heard the footsteps.

“Brother, you must do me justice.” Xiao Shengxian said with an aggrieved look, massaging his face as blood kept oozing out from his nose.

“Uh?” Not until now did Xiao Shengnian put down his book and raised his head, only to see a face covered with blood. After a moment of surprise, he cracked a gentle smile, “What happened? You bumped into a wall?”

“Not a wall, but a person.”

“Who was it?” Xiao Shengnian immediately got a feeling that it had something to do with Su Jie as his brother knew everyone in the mansion except Su Jie.

Right at this point the doctor came who first greeted the two princes before he hurried to attend Prince Xian’s wound.
